"Hello, I'm Cats Cats. I'm here to rescue you," Kast says, even though it sounds weird to his ears. "C'mon, lets get you back to the party."
For some reason, I read that as 'pantry'.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you "Strange" Aeons crazies that have made this my favorite AP/story.
I'm thankful for powerhouse players like all of you, and a superb GM.

worst week of work in a very long time. No chance to do anything else. Even posting on my favorite stories felt like it would be the straw that broke the camera's back!
I am back full time, sorry for the posting delays.

Cats probably has 1, but Cats ain't so good at keeping track. Unless it's his lives, because then he has 8 as he lost one to his ex-lover, and only by the grace of Goddess does he live this day.

Thank you Fearless. Always glad to amuse.
I also think you may need to rethink your attack, plus maybe a will save. The calm emotions spell puts everyone on the area in a "no attack" mood. Of course, attacking will break that calming effect. I'm hoping it affects at least 3 of the 4 tigers so you can escape. You are probably also no longer grappled as the "calmed tigers" wouldn't have you grabbed.
Maybe the GM should give you saving throws so first so you can see the effects before your action?

[quote-Fearless] sack and will likely add to it with the new memories
I can totally picture an aged and retired adventurer Fearless in a wealthy/posh house having a room --that is always locked and never open to visitors - that has all of the paintings handing on the walls. BB's paintings, the crazy wacked stuff of Zandalus, and even the painter from THrushmoor with his "dremascape" stuff.

Have you guys ever listened to Critical Roll? Any good?

uh..whats with the broken up url?

I’ve tried to listen to Critical Role, but I’m not sure where to start. They’ve had 2 or 3 campaigns over the years, and none seem to have a real “game #1” to introduce listeners to their podcast. The players are great, but the style is a little too much Role-acting rather than role-playing. In my opinion the Glass Cannon Podcasts (Giantslayer and Ruins of Azlant) are better, and reflect the style of role-playing we grew up with.
Another game podcast that I’m starting to get into is The Adventure Zone. They have a bit of rough start, but the hijinks and shenanigans ramp up quickly, and apparently there is a comic book that accompanies some of their campaigns.

I haven't listened to anything but GCP, and I haven't even been able to stay caught up with that.
If there is something GCP good, please let me know, but I find it hard to believe anything will ever beat my love for Razzmatazz.
"Brother Butterfly" |
I only listen to GCP. I got behind as I was listening to two podcasts on the Impeachment process. One (obviously) ended, but the other has rolled into politics today that I'm staying with.
I have at least 20 or so casts to catch up on with Ruins and Starfinder and Joe's new module I haven't started yet. But I will.

I love three things. Razzmatazz, Nestor Koyne, and When Fearless added that extra chant to the Drowned Rat chant.
Holy, did I laugh at that.

Yeah, Fearless deserves a standing applause for that. Great post.
Yes, yes, all of this. ALL OF IT.

'Role-acting' exactly. I flipped it on today and remembered that I've seen their vidcast before I found the GCP. I got annoyed at Critical within the first few minutes of the table banter, felt like I was watching a reality show episode after they find a box of DnD in the closet.

Crazy 2016 post. Thanks for sharing Mariner.
Also, @ DM Rah -- I fully agree with you. Time and again, this party of players have breathed three dimensional life into NPC's that have only 1-2 background sentences. Great work all. Roleplaying at this high of level for this long (keeping the enthusiasm and still morphing your character with development) is impressive.

Alrighty, my Los Angeles office is going into work-from-home mode.
Here's the Mariner's favorite list of SHTF movies.
