Fair warning: I also got the shingles vaccine shot because I would never, ever want to get Shingles again. Ever.

However, the 2nd shingles vax shot laid me out for a full day with queasy lethargy. I was broken for a full day of sleep and wanting to vomit.

That said, it's better than getting shingles. Hands down.


A full day of sleep and vomit is paradise compared to shingles or a kidney stone.

@Tyranius! I just wrote a 4 page story featuring your IHOB (International House of Bacon) drop during Starfinder. I just wanted you to know I made sure to give you credit. I have LOVED that scene with all of us eating food at the waffle house in Starfinder. Anyway, our GMRAH for this story is a player in Rise of the Runelords and they are on the last book. Rah has an awesome character in Rise, and has kept the Heroes of Sandpoint alive most of the books.
Anyway, just passing on credit where credit is due. Thanks for the memories and great stories!

Is it time? I love this campaign, but it's getting slower and slower.

I know the GM has other things going on, and I don't want to keep putting energy into this if we're just done.

I’m sorry about the delays. Life has been challenging this year. I love these characters and this story, and I don’t want to give up on this, but I can’t seem to get back in the rhythm and I hate that it’s dragging along. There is a whole section of this book that is tedious that I think I’ll throw out, and if I do that could help push things forward at a better pace.

I'm with you on that Rah. The last two years, starting with the lockdown to now, some things have not been great. Call it the Mariner's sense of disturbance in the Force. However, one thing that has been and remains great is this game with you all. It's my only alternate reality that I've kept. But it's my fault as well, sometimes after repeated weeks of getting kicked in the teeth, it's hard to hit the escape button. I'll make a recommitment to post regularly - let's keep it going. I'm going to game with somebody regardless, here's a good place.

Perhaps PFS 'Scenario' pacing will help us move through, if that GM can work that out?

@Gm -- I know that the game has been challenging.
I'd been wanting to help craft a Rod while we were on the boat. Specifically looking at a Rod of Wonder, or a Meta Magic Rod.
I think I need Fearless's help for the Rod of Wonder. Does he have access to Confusion spells?
If not, I can look at other rods that can be crafted using my cleric spells.

Looking at the PC's, who is really, really injured? I have a Heal spell and want to use it to it's best efficiency.
From what I'm seeing, Cats is probably barely standing. With that said, Mariner is down a hundred HP's?

I have Heal and will still have Life Bubble for the just in case.

Cats is mostly fine. Blue is probably down after his last attack, and can take another round of hits. Take care of yourself or others.

I love it when loose ends mentioned books prior get wrapped up. It's so cool that we finally are seeing all the plot threads weave themselves closer together. This AP did a great job of story telling. The GM also probably strengthened all the plot lines too. Great job GM Rah! You are Platinum class.

Btw, these were almost all great buffs, ty. It's nice. Cats, being completely clueless about dying, is immune to fear and so you can save that for someone more paranoid and smaller.

He DOES have a Rod to give to Fearless. A Rod of Metal and Mineral Detection.
He also has crafted a Rod of Wonder to keep for himself or give to Fearless.

@all - Remember, Brother Butterfly is getting to a good level where I can do powerful magic vestment and magic weapons. Making +3 armor and/or +3 shields. Magic weapons at +3.
My suggestion in shopping would be to maybe focus on other AC buffing magics would provide synergy. I also pass on a great deflection bonus with Shield of Faith. So, dodge and natural armor items would work really well for you/all.

Fearless- Any ways you can think that I can buff you up?

The hand of glory is a great item. BB would have used it-- except it was an actual hand... BB's particular- I couldn't in a roleplaying sense justify taking it.

Sorry I was late to the spending spree. I got knocked down this weekend too, back to feeling normal this morning.

I guess the +3 flamer is unsold and in Mariner's possession? If so, he sells off his current sword and hands 386gp to each.

Oh and there's the 10k Cassomir bank note that the Mariner cashed but didn't divey, so... 2500gp+386gp = 2886gp to each.

Side note - Hate Herolab. It's like a gestapo check point just to log into the tool.

As for Paizo Message board, I zoomed out enough to be able to post.
Maybe I shouldn't have. Paizo is still upset with me for breaking the board.

This is hilarious. Can’t wait to see where this goes. He loves how hard Catterfly tries, but sometimes, sometimes things go right. Poor guy.

We’re gunna need a scroll of heal to fix Cats’ eyes after the severe eye rolling he’s giving Catterfly after this. I’m pretty sure the blind condition isn’t strong enough for where his eyeballs have gone after this one.

This could not be funnier. The eye roll from Cats. I can picture it solidly in my mind's eye.

As a player, and character, at least I was smart enough to cast water walking on the party prior to teleporting. - since we were porting to an island of all places! Oh my goodness. Oh me, oh my.
