Krass Kargoth |

"I can dance with the best of 'em."
Krass has the hook firmly settled and moved about upstairs.
I move from I-6 to I-4 and then to G-4 using the rope as a safe-guard. After that I want to roll up the rope around my one arm and jump over to E-4 IF there is enough room for me to stand. I get to move at least 10F before I hop over.
Acrobatics: 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (12) - 5 = 7

DM Bigrin |

Krass Kargoth |

A sudden order is barked by Krass from upstairs. A sense of urgency echoes through in his voice. "Objective located! Move up, move up!"
Krass recollects the grappling hook before pressing himself back against the wall.
Standard action: collect the grappling hook. Move action: press myself against the wall at E4.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Are there any hooks and ropes still connected somewhere? If not then it would go a long way if Krass hooks the one he has so we can go up.

Harbug the Slasher |

If Tialara has any trouble with the door, Harbug will try to force it open. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Strength check to force door... lol
Harbug grabs the druids shoulders and pushes. "Let's get this open!" he calls as he shoves her against the door for a moment.

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

Shabbezz readies herself, following behind Tialara.
I'm here. Make a post by 10:00 AM US Central (or even right now, really), and I'll post right after.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica rushes back to the rope she left hanging in the previous room. Eager to join Krass up above with all the excitement, she wastes no time in climbing up.
Move to rope and climbs. (If where her rope is counts as 'DC 5 rope and wall' she will climb accelerated).
Not quite sure just how much move it will take for her to get there and do so. Looking back at the map, 4-5 sq to get to the rope, with 7-8 sq left to climb it.
Accelerated Climb check 1d20 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (12) + 4 - 5 = 11 (if not rope and wall, remove the -5)

DM Bigrin |

The door to the next room flew open and showed Tialara and Harbug an empty room, sans floor, with another sewage puddle covering the entire sunken area. Another rickety ladder was set up on the wall to the left, next to a hole knocked in the wall that had allowed the crossbow wielding goblins access to their barricade.
Angelica managed to make it to the attic, getting to he feet as Krass waved her back out of the goblins' line of fire.

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

I think I see where I went wrong here. :( Forgive my confusion, I assumed that Tialara was going to climb as well and I was attempting to climb up after her. Sorry, my fault.
From her position near the door in G8, Shabbezz hopped down to the rope that Angelica had left dangling and grips it in her hands and feet, scurrying upwards.
Move to rope from her position at G8.
Climb speed 20 (+8 racial bonus to all climb checks).
Climb check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Krass Kargoth |

Krass goes through all the possible approaches in his head as he sees his group move up. He yells at the people downstairs,"Prepare ranged weaponry, they're upstairs against the far wall."
He gets the bow off his back and fires an arrow at a goblin.
Move: draw weapon. Std: attack with bow the Goblin at A-1.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
I'm not sure, but I think I take a -4 because I'm around the corner firing from cover?

Harbug the Slasher |

Hearing Krass call from above Harbug thinks dammit all, why'd it have to be ranged of all things. He moves carefully across past the sewage and starts to shake and pull at the ladder there.
Move to F5, check the ladder to see if it's sturdy. If he has any actions left, he'll grab a crossbow (and if he can) some bolts from the corpse of one of the goblins in G4 or G5 through the hole.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica waits until Shabbezz makes it up top before she quickly coils the rope and throws it over her arm and head, wearing it like a shoulder satchel.
Guessing two moves, or full-round, to quickly coil and loop it on her.

DM Bigrin |

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
1d8 ⇒ 7
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
1d8 ⇒ 2
Shabbezz makes it to the top of the platform and crouches as Angelica coils and stows the rope. Krass keeps them covered with his crossbow, and as one particularly hasty goblin leaned out to take a shot at the exposed women, the hobgoblin sent a bolt right into the little greenskin. The goblin gave a tiny shriek as it plummeted off the rafter, falling into the room below, eliciting a splash from the now-expected puddle of sludge below. Krass narrowly dodged another crossbow bolt fired from the figure hidden in the shadows.
Tia heard the goblin's shriek and the splash through the door.
Harbug reached up to grasp the rickety ladder, and grunted with a complete lack of surprise when the thing just collapsed.

Tialara |

Hearing the shriek and subsequent splash, the Druid turned to say something to Harbug when the ladder collapsed.
Supressing a chuckle she said, "Haven't you learned yet, not to trust ladders in this place?"
Tialara opens the door, ready to send another Icicle at the first live Goblin she sees.
Opens the door, then Ready Action.

DM Bigrin |

As Tia opens the door, she can see that this room, like the others, is floorless, with an exposed septic pit where the floor should be. A dry sewer pipe extends from the far wall of the pit, its diameter small enough to be a tight squeeze even for a goblin. The western wall is dominated by an enormous fireplace, made from brick and local stone, that hangs ponderously over the gaping floor. The fireplace has a sense of massive stability, as if it would never succumb to the rot and deterioration that was consuming the rest of the boarding house. A short ladder, looking far more sturdy than the one Harbug just destroyed, extended from the sewage to the fireplace's hearth. As in the previous room, the ceiling has collapsed, revealing the attic above. Looking up, Tia can just see the legs of the remaining goblin crossbowman above.

Krass Kargoth |

Krass draws another arrow from his quiver and drops low, taking a quick glance around the corner and fires an arrow at the last remaining goblin.
Kneeling as move action for a +2 vs ranged attacks, fire an arrow as a standard action.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Not sure, but I still think I get a -4 to hit.

Harbug the Slasher |

Harbug picks up one of the small crossbows from the dead goblins and a handful of bolts. He loads the crossbow and mutters to himself "Maybe Tia can make use of this contraption."
5-foot step to G5, move action to pick up a crossbow & bolts, move action to load crossbow (if he can).

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

With a quick thank you to Angelica for waiting with the rope, Shabbezz then yelps in surprise at the twang of the crossbow nearby, but exhales relieved when she realizes that it was just Krass hitting his target.
Pointing to the wall across the way, the wizardess indicates that she's going to try and shimmy her way around to get a clear shot at the assailant in the shadows.
Moving carefully from I5 to J5, then from J5 to J8, and finally from J8 up along the wall to F8 (two move actions, 40 feet).

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica looks to where Krass stands, and watches Shabbezz make her way slowly around, before deciding that the hobgoblin's route was more efficient. Besides, if Krass made it across with all the grace of a wounded seagull, she should have no problem crossing the gap.
Move, H5 to G5,
Acrobatics, to jump to E5, 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
If she succeeds, she will pull off the rope and hook it where the ladder used to be.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Not sure if one will do, or if I need a before and after.
Move Acrobatics 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19,
Landing 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
If she does make the jump, it looks like she may not stick the landing.

Krass Kargoth |

You can do lots of things that require a move action in combination with a 5f step: http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2oye0?Move-action-vs-movement-a-5foot-step-ques tion . Not sure if this is the place to discuss it toh :x

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

I tried to take the long way around to avoid acrobatics checks if I could, but if they're needed anyway:
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
If I fall: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
In case I do fall: Glider (Halve falling distance, may move horizontally during fall half of vertical distance fallen.)

DM Bigrin |

1d6 ⇒ 3
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
1d8 ⇒ 8
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
1d8 ⇒ 6
Arrows flew, magic splashed, and people balanced...well, mostly balanced. Halfway through moving, Shabezz's foot caught on a splintered rail and she tripped, catching herself on the wall beside her before she could plummet to the floor below. Angelica made it to Krass' side, but nearly pulled the both of them down when she too stumbled. it was as well she did, as their flailing made them hard targets for the crossbows.

Angelica hooks the grapple and rope right below her, dropping the line down right in front of Harbug. "Get up here where all the fun is, unless you like the wet slog through filth. Tia, you coming?" As she speaks, she draws one of her darts while calling out. "Hey, Nat? If that's you, we're just trying to get you to hold up your end of the bargain with good ol' Sheila."
Move action, hang rope
Move action, Draw dart

Krass Kargoth |

Krass fired another arrow at the goblin, hoping to leave the woman all by her lonesome self. Often single targets were easier to intimidate, forcing them to surrender.. but the commotion at his side broke his concentration and the arrow harmlessly nestled itself into a wall.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Tialara |

Frustrated about her icicle shattering before is solidified, the Druid saw red. In her anger she jumped into the pit, crossed to the ladder, climbed both ladders, and positioned herself behind the Goblin.
I believe that is a Double Move.
If not, Claw Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Damage: [dice]1d6[/ooc]

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

Shabbezz's stomach lurched as she fell forward, but her sticky fingertips managed to catch the wall as she fell, abruptly halting her descent before it had a chance to truly begin. She stood there for a few breaths, regaining her composure, and then (carefully) attempted to make her way forward once again.
Moving to E8.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
If I fall: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 and Glider.
If she is able to make her way successfully, she will then attempt to make her way across the beam to E6, so that she can bring the assailants with range of her acid splash.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
If I fall: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 and Glider.

Harbug the Slasher |

Harbug finished picking up anything else he needed from the goblins corpses. Nobody was close enough, so his mumbles of "Won't need this either." went unheard. Carrying the crossbow he found he moved over to where he had last seen the druid. "Tia? Oh, there you are, right behind that TARGET." the last word coming out as a snarl. Harbug raised the crossbow and took aim at the goblin, letting loose the single bolt.
Move to D5 (lower floor), ranged attack with crossbow: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (3) - 4 = -1 damage 1d6 ⇒ 6 assuming a light crossbow intended for a small-sized creature. If the crossbow was a medium one, add +2 to my attack roll, and the damage die is 1d8--feel free to re-roll it for me if it matters to make things go faster.

DM Bigrin |

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
1d8 ⇒ 3
1d4 ⇒ 1
Tialara climbed the first ladder into the great fireplace, and was about to move towards the second, when an elongated shape moved in the shadows. She got a look at a snakelike body about 6 feet long with a head that looked remarkably like the goblin's that she had just killed. Then, the thing reared back and blew a foul greenish-brown cloud toward her. the choking cloud smelled as foul as it looked, and it was all Tialara could do not to fall to her knees retching.
Meanhwhile, Harbug pointed the crossbow at the goblin on the rafters above and pulled the trigger. The string snapped with a loud twang and the arrow flew off into the shadows, quite harmlessly. Krass had the same amount of luck hitting his target, though without the spectacular noise. Angelica made fast the rope, and Shabbezz easily hopped into position on her side of the attic. The grippli had just gotten in position with Natalya's crossbow bolt took her in the right leg, just above the knee.
I need a DC13 Fort save from you, or you will be sickened for 1d6 ⇒ 2 rounds. This is a poison effect.

Angelica Nenaviste |

"Well, we can't hide around this corner forever." She moves across the rafters, her last dart in hand, before throwing it at the remaining goblin. Tiptoeing across rafters does not make for a smooth throw, and she watches her toss go wide. Shrugging at Krass she adds, "Now I gotta get closer, all I got left is my blade, and I'm not throwing that. Gonna need some help."
Move to B5, Acrobatics to balance 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Standard, throw dart at the goblin 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Can we above see what attacked Tia?
EDIT: She has two more darts, I thought she only had 4. Oh, well she would still prefer that Krass move into melee with her.

Tialara |

Fortitude: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Once again the voice of her mentor came to memory. "Always remember, when faced with noxcious fumes, clear your mind." Quickly Tialara closed her eyes and did just that. Then she opened them and lunged forward.
Claw Attack 1: Use above rolls
Claw Attack 2: 1d20 ⇒ 4

Krass Kargoth |

The idea of taking a leap of faith went against his instincts and Krass drew another arrow, nocked it, pulled the string back and hesitation struck as the thought of crossing the gap did mean he could stab the damned thing with his sword ..
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Harbug the Slasher |

"I shouldn't have even bothered. These contraptions are a waste of time." Harbug grouses as he throws down the crossbow. He pulls out his old faithful falchion and moves across the sewage-filled pit to a corner near the snake-like creature that surprised Tialara.
Drop the crossbow, draw falchion, move to F1 via D4-E3-F2-F1

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

3 damage; HP 7 of 11 (assuming the night's rest from last night would have recovered 1 hp, making the initial total 10).
The grippli screamed in pain and clutched her leg, nearly pitching forward while doing so. She managed to catch her balance however, and, exhaling puffs of breath to muscle through the pain, raised one hand in a quick series of arcane gestures to return fire.

After firing her shot, she desperately attempts to limp her way back across the rafter and out of the goblin's range of attack.
Move action to I5.

No, the angle is wrong. All you can tell is that Tia is fighting something.
The dance in the attic continued as Shabbezz and Angelica moved nimbly across the beams. Arrows flew from bow and crossbow, and Angelica took one to the leg. The pain was almost enough distraction for the changeling to lose her footing, but she managed to stand firm, though she was looking like she was feeling the weight of her wounds.
Below, Tialara exchanged blows with the goblin snake, and both landed vicious hits. The snake's fangs tore into Tialara's flank, and the druid braced herself for the pain of venom being pumped into her, but none came. She returned the strike, claws slashing deeply into the top of the goblin head.
Angelica takes 2 damage.
Tialara takes 4 damage.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica takes the hit with anger, but not quite all directed at the goblin. "Some protector you are. What happened to 'I can dance with the best of 'em'?" She mocks Krass' own statement. She decides challenging him would possibly motivate him, "If you are too scared to try and close ranks, then get down and let someone else use the cover you're wasting."
Given no other options, she's forced to draw another of the darts she said she didn't have available and throw at the goblin again. Missing by a long shot, the best she can do in her defense is lay across the rafters, and at least that way even if she does get hit again she's less likely to plummet into the sewage and drown in filth.
Move, draw weapon (I can't wait until 2nd when I can draw during movement).
Standard, attack goblin, 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6. Man I wish I could roll worth a damn.

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

Shabbezz leaned on her knees with the flat of her palms and exhaled. She looked back behind her and saw Angelica in bad shape, but was afraid that if she returned to a position to assist, the grippli would also be in danger of taking fire. Furthermore, all her useful spells for the day had long since been cast, leaving her with little to rely on but the woefully under-performing acid splash. But what other choice did she have?
Favoring her uninjure leg, she scurried back across the beam and once again attempted to target the offending goblin before it could take another snipe at her companion.
