Well done, tech team! Faction icons look great!!! Thanks!

Now that Gameday XI is winding down, a PbP buddy of mine and I were wondering if any GM might be willing to run either of the following One-Shot-ish games:

One-Shot #4: Mark of the Mantis
or
Free RPG Day: Fistful of Flowers

All bounties are repeatable.

I'd like to play Merisiel, if it's okay with the final player.

Also, yes, I'd be up for the lower level if there's time.

Su Fix wrote:
I already played it in 102 and in 5-6. SO I think I can't play it again, right?

Correct. I believe in PFS you can play this Special once in a 1-4 range and once in a 5-8 range.

Having said that, if there are any players with characters level 7-8, please click on the following link for the 3-99 special. Still room for a couple more at the last remaining high-tier table.

Room for lower tiers too. Here's the link for Player Sign-ups:

[larger]PFS 3-99 Fate In The Future[/larger]

These special multi-table opportunities don't come up that often, so check it out while there's room.

I'll choose Zerryd, if that's okay. Haven't tried a Strix yet.

Now that many of the One Shot #3: Head Shot the Rot games are finishing up, would anyone consider running One Shot #2: Dinner at Lionlodge in the near future. Or not-so-near future.

A friend and I are interested in playing, if a benevolent GM was willing to save us a couple seats.

I'm happy to switch if you want. I scored the Muruwa nickname so if we coordinate name changes you can be OG Muruwa.

That's very generous. Thanks, WS, I appreciate it. I just sent you a PM via Paizo to see if we can work things out with the name swap.

GM -- I'm just waiting to dot-in till we confirm this possible character switch. With luck, Watery Soup and I should have it worked out on Sunday.

Look forward to adventuring with you all!

Thanks for the invite, cmlobue.

I was hoping to play Muruwa, the Rogue, but looks like Watery Soup beat me to it. Early grippli catches the worm! :) No worries, WS. You played the Sorcerer in our Sundered Waves game, so I'll try one this time. Just to confirm: it is Zane the Sorcerer who's remaining, yes?

Please allow me till this evening to get officially dotted in.

P.S. GM, looks like a couple of Zane's spells are new and are not on his character sheet. Is there another document you could make available with that information?

I'm also interested if there's room for a self-absorbed Bard who's ego is only exceeded by his need for attention. He lives to inspire his allies in glorious song while they stand boldly between him and harm's way.

All the world is a stage, and the tournament seems the perfect opportunity to give the people what they want. Him. With his Attention Addict background, he's willing to make the sacrifice to shoulder the much-deserved fame and notoriety that is no doubt headed his way!

The gunslinger has "improved initiative" as a general feat, which i assume means incredible initiative. This doesnt Stack with the pistoleros "ten paces" as both are circumstance bonuses

If we're talking about the ZakZak pregen, RAW, Improved Initiative doesn't exist in PFS-2e. Several have said they assume it means Improved Initiative. Why would it mean that, when it makes no sense in conjunction with Ten Paces? Barring an errata from Paizo, I would hope GM's would allow a legitimate PFS-2e General Feat to replace one that simply doesn't exist as currently written.

On a related topic, Ten Paces requires a one-handed weapon, yet inexplicably ZakZak doesn't have one. It makes no sense to introduce the Gunslinger class in a shiny new One-Shot with a pregen who can't take advantage of his own abilities. Hopefully, GMs allow players to swap out for an appropriate weapon, if desired.

With luck, Paizo will have an errata available before too long.

Don't think I've ever played with even 1 from NZ, let alone 2. Nice. Maybe I'm the only one from the States? I'm in San Diego, CA.

I've not seen a description, but happy to play any of them

A few posts above, Bigguyinblack included a link to the Paizo announcement which has a short description of the 4 pregens.

Thanks for offering to run this for us, Tiger. And thanks for that link, BigGuy.

From the vague description of the 4 characters, I think I'd like to try Doc Featherton, if the other players don't mind, of course.

I'd love to try this one out if there's room for one more. I'm not near Lexington, KY, if that's a requirement. But I'll leave this post here in case things can work out. Thanks.

Character to Apply: Broot
PFS Number: 263869-2006
Level: 4
Downtime Activity: Herbalism Lore

Pregen Preference: Muruwa, the Rogue

Still have 1 slot left!

If there's still a slot left, I'm interested. Please let me know. If not, no worries. I'll hope for another table getting added. Thanks.

Question about Recruiting Conventions -- Can we just join with a pregen or is it GM's choice to allow it?

Just sign-up with who you want to play, pre-gen or otherwise. Some GMs are looking for a specific party make-up, or wanna keep it low-tier or high-tier. But for the most part, just sign-up and it's fine.

I'm also opening recruitment for one Quest from the following list: Q4, Q6, Q12, or Q13. If someone agrees to run one of the requested quests above, they can choose which quest. If not, I'll go with popular vote.

If you run Q4 (repeatable), I'd love a seat at the table (but would happily bow out if enough new players are interested). It's the only one I can play, so I'll gracefully step aside if another Quest is chosen.

On the Paizo product page, there's a post listing some errors in the character sheets.

Sundered Waves

Looking at Kaako's char sheet, looks like Palandri fixed most of those, but Kaako should have 1 more cantrip.

She gets Electric Arc from Storms Lash and Guidance from Pendant of the Occult. She should get 2 more from Minor Magic: Know Direction and ???

Question for Tyranius: First time playing a Cleric, so I'm not sure. I'm not locked into the listed spells, right? Each day, clerics get to prepare any cantrips/spells from the Divine list, correct?

I love playing Rogues. But I've never played a Cleric and I'd like to try that. So I'd prefer the Cleric over the Rogue, but if Palandri has a strong preference for the Cleric, I'll happily take the Rogue.

Player Name: Professor Plum (Scott)
Character Name: Broot
Character Level: Barbarian 3
PFS ID: 263869-2006
Faction: Verdant Wheel
Day Job Roll: Herbalism Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
(it's a little embarrassing that a Leshy isn't better at Herbalism Lore)

Mr. Bulmahn is working on errata and we are standing by to update the PDFs. Thanks for all the input here and on the launch blog.

One other thing for the errata for the Character PDF which I didn't see mentioned:

Kaako (Rogue) only has 3 cantrips listed: Electric Arc, Guidance, and Know Direction.

She gets Electric Arc from Storms Lash and Guidance from Pendant of the Occult. She should get 2 more from Minor Magic: Know Direction and ???

Here's a signup sheet for Absalom Initiation Priority to those that asked above.

Thanks Phaeton. Are you limiting the game to only level 1 PCs? Your signup sheet isn't letting me enter level 3. If you prefer all level 1's, I can bow out to give others a chance.

phaeton_nz wrote:

I could do Absalom Initiation --- it's on my list anyway.

Thanks Phaeton. I'd love to join Absalom Initiation (with a level 3 Investigator).

Happy holidays, everyone! Since we have a few new players, I would like to add a vote for a kindly GM to consider running a season 1 repeatable (possibly 1-01 Absalom Initiation, but any repeatable Lvl 1-4 would be great). If not, perhaps one of the repeatable Level 1-4 Quests: Sandstone or Port Peril? Thanks in advance!

After PaizoCon, would anyone care to run 1-06 Lost on the Spirit Road? A buddy and I just missed out on the game Tyranius started up last week. We have a Level 2 Monk and Level 1 Sorceress.
Do you want to wait until after PaizoCon or were you just being polite? Because I can run 1-06 with very little hassle to my schedule.

Thanks, GM Blake, but yeah, I'm planning on playing this character at PaizoCon, so I'd like to wait till after.

I can probably do that for you, but if someone else is definitely available you should take them up on it.

Thanks GM Numbat. Appreciate you considering it.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Could also do 1-10 Tarnbreaker's Trail if a GM prefers that, but mild preference for Spirit Road.

Is it? Hmmmmm... I thought quests were always four parts.

When earning XP in 2e, 4 quests are the equivalent of 1 full scenario. So that could be where you heard that there were 4 parts.

GM Andrew ... do you have room for 2 more players? We're both very active and will post every day (or more often) if the game moves quickly.

Thanks Wise Fox. Here's my info:
Scott Gellerman
263869
Please apply to existing character 263869-2002. Or do I create a new Merisiel character (with -2003) for this game? Not sure how this pregen game works.
Horizon Hunters

Sorry, what does "go ahead and dot" mean?

Count me in. I'd like to try Merisiel if she's available.
