I'm hoping to either play or GM Against the Aeon Throne sometime soonish, so I'm glad to see so much interest. Plus, we need to convince Paizo that their 3-part AP experiment is a worthy endeavour. In my view, it makes a lot of sense for a PbP timescale.

I've been getting smashed with work the last while in the lead up to the Invictus Games in Australia, but now that's over I have my life back :p

I'm Overseering the PbP Siege of the Diamond city, but will resume my PbP Starfinder GMing after Christmas as I'm going to take a break in a couple of weeks for a summery boatride around the sultry South Pacific as there is an amazing boulangerie in Noumea that does a heavenly croissant and I feel its time to go back and get one.

Personally, I decided not to apply to these campaigns because of the upcoming holiday season. But I was super tempted! Aeon Throne looks AMAZING.

Well, here I am again with my on-again/off-again recruitment, just after GM Darren has completed his Aeon Throne recruitment....

We are one crew member short. I have a potential 5th crew member who appears to be a “failure to launch” at this stage, but what I really need is a 4th intrepid crew member to join our Aeon Throne experiment. Being a fan of either the Glass Cannon or the Greatest Gen podcast would be a bonus, but at this point, I think we just want to be able to fill the bridge crew.

Dennis ran a game of Confirmation for me and some others last spring, but that was my only exposure to it, and it didn't really go through recruiting. I'll dig up my notes.

I'm just finishing up my run of Star Sugar Heartlove as a player. Soooo much fun. I also got to GM it 9 times at Gencon, and it was STILL a blast even when I did it so many times in a row!

Otherwise, I want it to be a character who loves roleplay, is bursting with opinions about SMC, and can roleplay the socks off this great scenario.

Be forewarned that I am aiming for a twice-a-day pace including weekends. I will be calling for hiatuses on special days like Christmas and New Years, and asking everyone to be open about their other commitments to that we can bot you if needed. The holidays are a busy time for everyone.

Hello folks!

It looks like my efforts to get a SFS group going IRL aren't going to work out so I've found myself with more time to dedicate to PBP gaming. As such, I'm going to try to run a few more tables, with a focus on new scenarios.

I am opening up a pair of tables for the new scenarios coming out tomorrow. While sign-ups are open now, I will need some time to look over the PDFs and prepare for the adventure, so my targetted start date for each of these games is December 3rd. The two scenarios are:

1-26 Truth of the Seeker, which is a tier 3-6 Second Seeker (Jadnura) scenario which is a direct sequel to the 1-99 Scoured Stars Invasion special, so please bear that in mind before you sign up.

1-27 King Xeros of Star Azlant, which is a 5-8 tier scenario with the Starship tag. This scenario pays homage to an old PFS scenario, and also has ties to the Against the Aeon Throne AP!

Sign up sheets can be found here! We will play as long as we reach minimum table size.

This could be a playtest table, I suppose. But, I doubt we'd finish up by Jan 19. My average PBP scenario has taken about 3 months, and we probably won't be starting until next week, with Christmas holidays shortly after.

Bigrin, the playtest isn't something restricted to certain tables. It's an option for players at all SFS games that start in a certain time window. The game also does not need to end before the end to the playtest. Just like any other legal character option, the GM for public games cannot forbid the playtest classes.

In a moment of insanity, I have decided to run a high-level (5-8) Playtest Game. If you have a regular 7-8 character that you would like to play within it, you may of course apply, but I am giving precedence to the Playtest characters.

1) It will be fast-paced.
2) Because it is me, it may be silly.
3) Your GM is guaranteed to be a nutcase during this run, because she is doing it to distract herself from some heavy real-life issues. You now have been warned.

(Actually I'm kind of in love with all three playtest classes, but have an inherent fondness for stabbing. I'm sure that says nothing concerning about me as a person. :) Of course depending on the group I am happy to try one of the other two classes as well. They all look interesting.
