Excellent. Can we find something to shoot at? Preferably something that someone else will pay to be destroyed?

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

I couldn't resist starting on Friday the 13th.

The ship is carrying a shipment of lucrative but highly illegal fauna taken from a halfway point between IP1194 and the buyer. Though T.E.R.R.A is licenced to sell the flora and various toxins made by said plants, the wildlife of the planet has been deemed too dangerous to be transported off planet. This does not stop Private collectors and Noblemen of various planets offering handsome sums in order to have such creatures added into their private collection. The cargo was not obtained personally by the group, but it's transportation was sub-contracted out by certain T.E.R.R.A affiliated merchants.

The creatures themselves are stored worn steel cages in the hanger bay, where Bone'ead is tasked to feed them however much is required to keep the animals as docile as possible.

I leave exactly WHAT creatures and how many up to you dear GM!

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

The captain will generally do what you (as players) want him to do. He is more of a collective PC than a true NPC.

You can give him instructions through ooc text.

Could have been guns, could have been food, medicine even. But he goes for illegal and highly venemous creatures from the deadliest planet in the quadrant. Respect.

2BR, I edited my last post in the game thread. I forgot to give you the traditional DW call to action!

Android Engine of Destruction | Lvl 6 | XP: 10 | HP: 14/27 | Armor 4 | 1d10 | STR +3 | DEX +1 | CON +2 | INT 0 | WIS 0 | CHA -1 | Blood: 4

All g. Question, can I use the alternative Bend Bars, Lift Gates move Sona wrote earlier? I'm here to make a mess. And our ship has large holes in it, will that be an issue for the fleshies we have on board? I've heard that hard vacuum is inimical to squishes.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Typically boarding torps seal the breaches behind themselves so that the boarding parties are not exposed to vacuum. You probably don't have the same reservations.

You can use Sona's version of the move.

Android Engine of Destruction | Lvl 6 | XP: 10 | HP: 14/27 | Armor 4 | 1d10 | STR +3 | DEX +1 | CON +2 | INT 0 | WIS 0 | CHA -1 | Blood: 4

Sounds like a common sense move, sealing the breach behind you. Luckily, I don't have that module installed.

Unless supplied with specific adaptations for space walks, most chrome domes wouldnt much enjoy the experience either, though they could probably handle it way longer.

Someone was kind enough to send me links to the books. Are we using the Uncharted Worlds system with the Archetype class creation?

Android Engine of Destruction | Lvl 6 | XP: 10 | HP: 14/27 | Armor 4 | 1d10 | STR +3 | DEX +1 | CON +2 | INT 0 | WIS 0 | CHA -1 | Blood: 4

Nope, Dungeon Planet. Do you have the link? If not: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1ZFbw_hANkSY3ZIcURGVzlycmc&usp =sharing

Also, very interesting about the vacuum thingy. Just don't tell 2BR he isn't designed for that. He'd be upset.

Uncharted Worlds is only for the faction, standing, and trading mechanics.' Otherwise it is Dungeon Planet, and any DW class is fair game.

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

Flora and Fauna Samples sounds like something the Association of Silence might have a hand in, especially if we are also harboring an Ogre. They may also have something to say about transporting biological samples between planets. You know those science types and protected and invasive species.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Is this working for everyone so far? I'm always open to constructive (and destructive!) criticism and suggestions.

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Working for me! Enjoying everything so far!

Android Engine of Destruction | Lvl 6 | XP: 10 | HP: 14/27 | Armor 4 | 1d10 | STR +3 | DEX +1 | CON +2 | INT 0 | WIS 0 | CHA -1 | Blood: 4

RNGesus is messing with me a little. But I never let that get in the way of a good massacre. And it is a very, very good massacre so far.

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

Just growing into my character. Everything is excellent so far.

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

Out of curiosity, what would these charges' reaction be to sustained laser fire? Would Sona have any reason to believe she could blast herself out of the tube, surrounded by loafs of destruction, tele-punching them at targets and blasting them with lasers? Like... what rolls am I looking at with that?

Just asking 'cause... I have a feeling pops needs some backup...

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Everyone needs back up! Pops is facing 2, Bone is chasing 3, and Doc just ran into 3 more! Desperate times!

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

The six that you two are facing aren't wielding giant syringes of morphine and bone saws... As much as Doc might like that. A failed defense against an EMP is exceedingly bad for we of steel.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

So to clarify, Doc has run into the three that just fled engineering.

Also, your ship also has a complement of boarding torpedoes.

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

I will insist that the DM does not roll player moves. If something has a random element, a player should roll. It's a major part of the game's risk/reward scheme.

Sona Θ3 wrote:

As you wish. The reason I reserved the power to roll defy danger rolls for PC's in the initial recruitment post was to avoid the delays from the following exchanges:

PC: I attack -roll
GM: Well, you aren't going to be able to just shoot this guy, he is too powerful. I'll need a defy danger to do X.
PC: 10
GM: Alright, let's resolve your first post.

However, that rule came out of a game where I was lucky to get one PC post a day. This game is going along very quickly, so it isn't really necessary.

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

Ah, it looked like the NPCs were rolling STR.

Still, it should be the player's choice how to tackle challenges, but if it moves things along and everyone's cool, then that's fine.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Oh yeah sorry, that was supposed to be 2BR's roll.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Moosh, I know you are pretty much out of commission every weekend. That is my prime posting time so things will always move along. I think narratively we can handle this with periodic connections problems between you and BoT. Maybe Jamee has accounted for this possibility and BoT's default programming in that event is to function as a hireling to one of the other PCs. Or any other number of solutions ...

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Kray! Find a class already! I've never seen a guy so excited to jump in that he's in combat before he even has his HP sorted! XD

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

Is there some kind of grenade-eating class?

There is a True Knight that might fit the grizzled doctor persona...
Gladiator might be interesting with all the weapon tag swapping and damage maxing.
Do you have Class Warfare? you could build a class...

Are we allowed to build? I thought I saw a no to that earlier.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

All DW classes are fair game, including class warfare. If you go with class warfare let me know what three specialties you choose.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Nice little warm up encounter. Time to get started.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

I updated Favor and Debt on the Campaign Info page based on the events so far and your starting standing. Happy to make any changes you think make sense.

Also, we didn't get a description for our violent Diplomatic consortium, unless I missed it.

Messing around I rolled an Honorable Diplomatic Federation and immediately thought of a darker starfleet that will bring freedom to your door, whether you want it or not. Thoughts on slotting that in?

Android Engine of Destruction | Lvl 6 | XP: 10 | HP: 14/27 | Armor 4 | 1d10 | STR +3 | DEX +1 | CON +2 | INT 0 | WIS 0 | CHA -1 | Blood: 4

Freedom! Woo!

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Everyone needs a dose of FREEDOM. I like it.

Also, My Standing with Terra is Good, and my Standing with Silence is bad.

Male Vern'Owhen Mutant/1 Dam: 1d8 | HP 19/19

This is Bane88's character. I'm still working on formatting as this is my first DW character.

I am an Alien Mutant outcast from an unknown society. I will be a sniper/weirdo

Gynoid Technician Lvl:6.05 HP:23/23 A:0 Dmg:d6 | Stock +0 ~ INT+3 ~ STR+2 ~ CON+1 ~ WIS+0 ~ CHA+0 ~ DEX-1

I would think you spent the battle on the bridge on the laser weapon console. A valuable, but oft-overlooked asset to our crew.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Welcome Omega.

Welcome :)

Male Vern'Owhen Mutant/1 Dam: 1d8 | HP 19/19

Thanks! Cool to see the factions all being incorporated into backgrounds and stuff.

EDIT: Maybe the crew could find me in cryo containment aboard the destroyer?

EDIT 2: Can someone tell me how I would go about taking the sniper moves set? Otherwise I may retool into a natural attacker, rogue, stalker type person, same name and bio of course.

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Alien/Mutant Sniper? Aww yeaaaaa

I can roll with the Cryo containment thing. I'll get that RP started while you sort out your profile. We already have DOC Jumping in the action without his set up, if anymore jumps in I'm gonna go crazy at not seeing what you guys can do!

As far as taking the sniper moves, I THINK you can just..take them. Sort of like compendium classes, ecept without the requirments. You just take the move when you level up. I could be wrong however.

Male Vern'Owhen Mutant/1 Dam: 1d8 | HP 19/19

Also, could someone send me a link to Monster moves? I get three apparently.

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Cant help you there. I'm not even sure WHERE GM's find these animal/monster moves for druids. I assume they just make up something that sounds right *shrug*

Male Vern'Owhen Mutant/1 Dam: 1d8 | HP 19/19

If that's the case, I have some cool ideas.

X-ray vision, active camouflage, and open to suggestions.

Reading your character bio is very amusing considering I just got done playing Legacy of the Void this morning. Very protoss-like feel.

Male Ogre Ogre | Lvl 4 | XP: 0/10 | HP: 26/26 | Armor 3 | d10 dam | STR 3 | DEX 0 | CON 2 | INT -1 | WIS 0 | CHA 1 | C: 0

Well, if you picked the expanded senses as part of your Mutant type, that should give you a range of options as far as "sensing" various things and people, so, you would start off with that. As far as inborn mutant "Moves" the Assasin Dungeon World Class might have some moves you might be interested in, or you could work with the GM on something yourself. The Mutant class seems to have a wide range of "Mobility" Moves as well, sticking to walls, flying, etc.

In Short, I dunno what moves you could pick, but, you have alot of options going forward. I'm more of the straight forward type, but, good luck figuring it all out! :P

I was sort of going for that but more the dark ones, Tal'Darim. I of course played through WoL and HotS and then had no money to buy LotV when it came out.

For sure like the protoss on how I picture his voice sounding.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

The various monster moves can be found in the Dungeon World SRD (quick google should show up.)

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

You can start taking Sniper moves at level 2. Fictionally, it requires you to "Train to be a precise shot" ... but if that is your character background that is all good.

Lucky Sixes: 12/12 HP | Useful Links: Quick Reference | Sheets

Moosh, we'll figure out a way to make it work with our schedules.

I really don't see them unless they are formatted super differently.

Link to monster page. No moves that I can see.
