Thank you. I am planning to keep posting as I am able, the holiday weekend throws schedules out of sorts so there is still a few things that have to be done prior to the arrangements being made for the funeral.

Sorry for my absence folks, I work for a certain internet retailer, and the weeks around Prime Day is our busiest period outside the Christmas season. Not done yet either, I'll be pulling 55 hours next week at least. Hopefully things will taper off after that.

Hey, everyone. My mom is in the hospital and I am flying out in the wee hours of Sunday morning. She has a minor procedure tomorrow that should tell us what is going on, but mom is 94 so pretty much anything involving the word "procedure" is potentially serious.

Fortunately we aren't in combat so I can keep up as time and events allow.

And if you are doing the math, I am not quite as old as you think I am. :) My parents were in their 40's when I was born.

Hope it goes smoothly and that it's nothing too serious.

The immediate crisis seems to be over, so that is good.

My mother is on palliative care for cancer and her condition has rapidly deteriorated over the last three days.

I feel that I owe you an explanation for my absence from posting. If you need to find a replacement player or GM, I understand. But for the time being I’m not ready to make any posts.

Very sorry to hear about your mother, Alexa. It's a difficult and emotionally gutting process, and I wish you the best, and a minimum of suffering for your mom.

Hey folks. I’ve recently gone back to school, flight school. I’m hoping to be an airline pilot in a few years. I knew it would take a lot of commitment, but now that it’s underway I realize the commitment is going to be significantly more than I even realized. As much as I enjoy it, I’m not going to have time for gaming for a while. Maybe I can come back in a year or so when I’m done training and just trying to build up my hours. (I’m not asking you to hold a spot for me, to be clear), but for now I have to step away. It’s been fun, and I’ll miss it, but real life has to come first. I want this career, and in the short term that’s going to require some sacrifices. Hope I see y’all around some time. Best of luck, and happy gaming.

With Uriel out and Telerin mostly absent, I do have to ask if your remaining active players want to keep going? It would mean some work integrating new people, but I am willing to put in the effort.
