I actually got some encouraging news tonight: the reason they ended up back in the hospital was due to a side effect from an earlier treatment. They were put on heavy calcium supplements back before the cancer diagnosis, and too much calcium can cause weird issues. So that was diagnosed right away and they should be back home early this coming week. Assuming there's not yet another curve ball...

The whole damn WORLD needs to suck it up and face the reality that the pandemic was never OVER once we got a vaccine, because that vaccine still needs to be distributed and a majority of people THE WORLD OVER need to receive it for it to be effective because otherwise STUFF LIKE DELTA WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!/rant

I am up to 13 students having to quarantine as of a few moments ago. So far 3 cases of the virus that I am aware of,

My niece refuses to get the vaccine because she "doesn't know what's in it". I don't even know where to begin with that.
I got her daughter, who turned 13 this year, a couple of graphic novels that include coming-of-age themes, including Vol 1 of Wayward. My niece decided it was "too old" for her because it features a girl, her daughter's age, cutting herself and it contains a fair bit of bad language. But, her live-in boyfriend, who she kicked out for being physically abusive and then took back in, and who she caught smoking meth, is apparently OK.
My niece is a real piece of work.

Arloric, your HP should be a LOT higher than 41. Something is wrong on your char sheet. By my calc, using PFS rules, you have:
8+5*5 = 8 + 25 = 33 HP base for character level
+ 6 HP for Con bonus
+ 6 HP favored class bonus (or are you putting that into skills?)
+ 5 HP boon granted at the end of book 1
+ 5 HP 1st guardian tier
+ 3*6 = 18 HP for Exposed to Awfulness campaign trait

= 73 HP

I've tried recreating Arloric in it, but it's not really effective: there's no option for planetouched types to pass for human, so he'd have to have horns and a tail if I play him as a tiefling, and when you type in the name, his fully hyphenated surname won't fit. And there's no real way to roleplay his Sarkorian heritage from the options I've seen. There IS the Mendevian Orphan background, but I imagine that won't really reference Sarkoris in dialogue. *shrug*

Okay, seriously, I asked this question earlier and I didn't get an answer.
Does anyone have any way of granting flight to our front-liners? The nabassu can fly, and we can't afford to fight it outside otherwise.

Unless Telarin can cast Fly I'd assume not. Granting the ability to fly isn't really something most classes can do. We have ranged weapons that work just fine and actually have a better range than most of the demon's abilities.

I am pretty easy-going, or like to think I am, anyway. :) If you want to use something new on a case-by-case basis, I am up for it as long as it's not 3pp or obviously broken. For example, I have a group that likes to occasionally use dirty trick combat maneuvers. The effects are minor but they are fun, and can be a good use of an action if you can't otherwise be effective. And I give small bonuses for creative thinking because telling a good story together is part of the enjoyment.
For called shots, I won't initiate them as I think debilitating conditions tend to punish PC's more than NPC's except in certain circumstances (such as this one). PC's are expected to live and thus have to deal with them, while NPC's either die or exit. So I'll leave that up to you.
