Taes burning hands will finish the swarm. I can see I didnnt format Belak and the swarm right so you cant tell...but it'll be gone having taken 14 points of damage now. Need actions from Klor and Larry before I move things along. Probably tomorrow morning.

Klor brings his axe on the goblin next to him before backing off

Shuddering, Larry drops the second spear and moves to get a better line of fire, pulling the bow the group had him take earlier, and setting up a shot to try to clear a retreat route for Erky.

Klor shakes his axe at Zarrick anger visible...

Grommund flees from the spiders to back around the far corner, spiders falling off've him as he ran screaming...

Tae steps up neaxt to the swarm and extends her arms, fanning her fingers. The blackened skin of her forearms begin to smoke and then an arc of fire shoots out engulfing the swarm and a few tongues of flame touching the goblin...The swarm disappears in a mass of shivelled spider bodies...The Goblins till stands smoke coming from his body

Zarrick growls at Klor Really dwarf, your pride is worth all of our deaths?? Then shouts We need to fall back and regroup! We are just falling into their damn trap! and begins to put his mace up...

From the back of the cave Ekan shouts "Erky's about to die, folks, we can't just leave him," Then he pints a finger and mutters an arcane phrase and a familiar ball of energy flies true and strikes the closest Goblin to Erky.

Klor glowers at Zarrick and brings his axe around in a backhand swing of his axe that finishes the last of the Goblins near them. Then his armor beginning to glow red he moves forward to flank the goblin just struck with the ball of force. heat metal damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4 He begins to feel the oppressive heat burning his body....

Zarrick moves up alongside Klor swinging his mace Clumsily as he too feels the heat from the metal on his body. The holy symbol around his neck sears his flesh...the coins in his pouch as well as the steel from his tinderbox. The Dagger, the head of the mace. Spell components, all this and more burn into his body..heat metal damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Spirit, floats silently toward a closer tree, eyeing his master carefully...noting the reddening of the skin from the magic.

Larry drops his spear and pulls his bow, moving to get a clear shot, fires his bow at one of the Goblins. The arrow is lost as it flies deeper into the cave...

Erky O13 turns and attacks the one Between him and Klor attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 vs AC 14 damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 the spear barely scraping along his opponents side

The 4 Goblins cackle and continue to strike at the Gnome muttering in Goblin

Goblin:
Kill this one first then the others.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 vs AC 15. This time only 1 of the Goblins managed to strike the surrounded gnome damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1, nicking his arm.

The Bat's Eyes began to glow again and what looked like an opening in the ground began to form nearby...What looked like a Spider the size of a man began to crawl out from beneath the earth. Cast Summon Natures Ally II- full round action. Giant Spider Does not appear til next round---it will appear in the purple square.

The protruding walls in the cavern complex are parts of the old Dwarven Fortress that jut out from the ground providing Cover for those behind them +4 to AC. These walls are only 5' high on the flat side, on the side with the dirt they are 3 feet high, allowing the Goblins to see over the top. Acrobatics DC 25 to jump over. Climb DC 20 or just go around.

The halfling is sure than running away and not sticking around IS the right course of action, but he meant what he said about Erky. THey couldn't just free the gnome only to desert him.

He moves forward E10 and tries one more crossbow shot at another goblin The one at O12

Desna must decided the little halfling needed a break, because the bolt fires and sinks into the goblin's shoulder, plunging deep. While the goblin still stands, it is only barely

Klor brings his Axe down to end the first goblin attacking Erky.

Ekan moved up near Tae and Larry, Mysabel still clinging to his shoulder, loading the Crossbow as he went. Then raising it he fired at the Goblin to the right of Erky. The bolt flew true and slammed into the Goblin with the force of a kicking mule, causing his step to faulter. The Goblin glanced at Ekan across the way and anger flared in his eyes, but his legs were wobbly.

The armor and axe heating up, Klor continued to fight even as it began to glow blue and white hot causing searing pain... heat metal damage: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6. The white hot axe cut through the injured goblin like a knife through butter, searing the wounds closed at it went.

Larry moved over next to Tae, and loosed an arrow over Klor's head at The Goblin Ekan had shot. It bounced off the battlement behind the wounded Goblin and snapped in half as it fell to the floor.

Tae held off, marshaling her power for when the Giant Spider came forth...

Grommund moves along the outside of the battlefield, trying to get behind them [ooc[Remember he's a dwarf and only has a speed of 20 not 30. I double moved him as far as he could go. Can't really perform a run action in caves. Ground is too uneven. Also Running has to be in a straight line ;)[/ooc]

Zarrick side steps and swings wildly at the Goblin, the heat from the metal on his person becoming unbearable Heat Metal Damage: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 Whats the will save for? There's only one save for Heat Metal, and per combat methods, I rolled it for him when I had Belak cast the spell. Remember you roll bad guys saves. I roll your saves. Zarrick was unsteady on his feat. The Holy Symbol burning into his flesh, blistering his skin...as well as getting fiercely reddended skin from through the dagger sheath, spell component pouch, coin purse and belt pouch. The heat from the head of the mace was enough to make him flinch back...

Spirit flew over to land in a cave tree near Zarrick.

As the Spider stepped through the portal created for it, Tae unleashed her eldritch bolt blasting it back a few steps...

Erky glanced at Zarrick and said I cannot channel for fear of healing the Gobboe's. Back up Zarrick and Heal yourself before you fall out. Then he stabbed toward the one Ekan had shot attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 vs AC 14, but the distraction of seeing Zarrick stumbling from heat fatigue proved too much for the Gnomish Cleric.

The Spider gathered its bearings and then sprung forth towards Tae. attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 vs AC 13 Its large fangs clacking noisily in front of her.

The three remaining Goblins all continued to attack Erky. flank attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 flank attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 vs AC 15. All missed.

Seeing How close Klor was, Belak flew back a bit and landed on the Ground, changing back to a human form.

Ekan sees the spider and nearly cries out in surprise. He moves to the side 5 step to B11 and lets loose with a ray of frost towards the spider.

But he appears to have returned to his usual aim
