Nicky steps forward as he sees Daehalya figure eight her staff at the being of elemental cold.
He looks to get in a good strike for himself and maybe distract it for Daehalya!

Let me try this new and fancy Rapier on you creature of elemental evil! On 3 in 6 lies 9! For none shall ever see- vile good cloaked by fair evil for eternity!

Nicky recites some poem that he recalls from his days at the circus when the RingMaster would hold performances he advertised as Elemental Madness. And he'd call his circus tent - a Temple of Elemental Evil.

Alvarius shocks the elemental with his spells as Daehalya's staff sweeps through the sparks and freezing mist, pulling some back into the waters below.

As Daehalya strikes the blizardborn a part of it shatters creating a small explosion of razor sharp ice crystals and blinding snow.

Grundle isn't able to intimidate the blizzard but does manage to heal some of Onye's frostbite. Nicholo's rapier pierces the core of the storm dealing damage to it as the winds shudder for the briefest of moments. Onye strikes back but he is shaking to much to make any significant impact.

Ezgara hurls flames into the middle of the storm as it seems to have a weakness to fire as some of the cold dissipates from the air around you. Weakness Fire 5

The frost-covered cheetah manages to twist out of the way of any significantly sized shards of ice. He rallies and interposes himself between the storm and Daehalya. The cat bites and swipes at the elemental's amorphous legs, trying to keep it off balance.

Snow and shattered ice erupt in the area. Nicky and his friends are at ground zero. The Tiefling likes to think of himself as lithe, but really he's not. Tell that to his brain as he does his best to duck, dive, dodge the ice heading at his face.

And his brain wins! Uh, oh, more fuel for his already inflated ego.

Seeing the enemy, he slashes at it with his magical rapier in a perfect flanking position with Onye.

Nicholo sends a crack through the ice as an electrical arc travels along it surface into the elemental. Daehalya's staff misses as she is temporarily blinded by the shards. Nicholo's rapier finds solid ground as he jabs it inot the elementals core.

Onye twists out of the way as his claws shred through the thinning ice layers.

See if Grundle and Ezgara can finish the elemental off.

Ezgara spins a tale as the winds swirl the flames in his hands off to the side. Grundle loses his teper as his Psi burst whacks off another chunk of icy.

With the storm weakened Grundle picks up nearby debris and is able to finish the elemental off causing the cold to instantly dissipate. As soon as the elemental is defeated, the snow on deck melts away and the worst waves cease battering the ship.

It’s the final night of your voyage across the Lake, and dark storm clouds roll in to commemorate the occasion.

Captain Adney approaches you as Sakuachi till lies in a dream-like state. "We still have a full day before we reach Egede. You should get some rest too." He sees the worry on your faces. “We won’t have to worry about those bubbles anymore. We’ll be well past that part of the lake in no time.”

You easily see through his lie as he is trying to get you to feel more at ease. He gives a small smile of comfort. “We’ve got no other choice, I’m afraid. The only way out is through.” On this point, at least, the captain’s right.

At approximately three o’clock in the morning, a thin bubble emerges just a few hundred feet in front of the Mermaid’s Tears. It reaches the ship before Captain Adney can do anything about it, popping on the ship’s mast and dosing everyone on board with the strongest dose of gas yet.

Sakuachi’s guides, who were sleeping, are given terrible nightmares. The seer herself slowly rises for the first time in several days, sleepwalking up to the main deck where each of you seem to join one final shared dream.

After taking a breath of sweet air that is, by now, quite familiar, you’re hardly surprised when your vision blurs and melts into yet another vision. You stand on hard, frozen ground in the center of a circle of towering black monoliths. The spires, each hundreds of feet tall, stand against a moonless night sky, illuminated here and there by curtains of auroral light.

The sled you dragged with you in the previous vision is nowhere in sight, though Sakuachi is present once more, watching from a distance. Below you, the ground is a sheet of solid, blackest ice. Through the nigh-impenetrable ice, you see the form of a massive beast limned in iridescent blue light. You feel compelled to get closer to the titanic being, and kneel to do so. The ice cracks slightly.

A piercing scream breaks the hallucination and dissipates the vision. Back on the Mermaid’s Tears, Sakuachi stands on deck, mouth agape, clearly caught in her own hallucinatory trance. She stares with wild eyes at a mass of dark clouds rushing toward the ship at an alarming speed. As the clouds near, they resolve into the shape of some massive, whale-like monster—the same dark shape just glimpsed lurking beneath the ice! Its icy blue eyes shine through the storm like stars.

“The stars!” Sakuachi cries deliriously. “They’ve come to punish us!” Indeed, the cloud-monster’s eyes become javelins of light which streak down toward the Mermaid’s Tears at incredible speed and land on deck with two audible thuds.

Watching the situation Grundle does indeed spot an oddity. Once again, your group has unwittingly brought an entity from your memories with you to the present moment. This time, the manifestation is that of Osoyo, the dread alien you spied beneath a floor of glacial ice in their latest vision.

To make matters worse, in Sakuachi’s own bubble-induced delirium, she’s subconsciously realized that your group is responsible for unleashing the Blackfrost Whale. Her panic causes a pair of violent stellar monsters to manifest aboard the Mermaid’s Tears.

The four beams of starlight that shoot from the memory of Osoyo’s eyes and land on the ship are manifestations of Sakuachi’s hallucinatory panic. As soon as they hit the deck of the Mermaid’s Tears, the vengeful stars solidify into snakelike entities.

While this entity isn't Osoyo itself it appears to be a phantasmal manifestation to Nicholo. This phantom isn’t really Osoyo—it’s an amalgam of the party’s psychic might, a force made semi-real by the effects of the lake’s mysterious gases and turned against the characters. This doesn’t mean the party’s in the clear, though; the mirage is still a dangerous entity.

Occultism (trained) or Arcana (trained) to divert the memory’s rage; multiple successful checks are required to disable the Memory of Osoyo.

The amurrun wears his leopard mask today after the repeated assaults upon the ship. The prowler focuses on his oath as he tries to will the colossal phantasm's rage away from the ship. "Whatever happened in the past," he asserts, "Onye Dinta is Onye Dinta, today!" He raises his shield as the lightning serpents land.
