Ill post the new turn tonight. I held off doing it yesterday hoping for Ekan....hopefully he will log on tonight and do his action.

Male Human Monk-6 (HP: 49/56; AC 19, 18t, 16ff; F+7,R+7,W+8)

Sorry, keyboard of my main lap top seems to need replacing, and when I tried to log on last night, I couldn't get to the site. :( Not a great day

The twing things appear to be immune to his illusion, and that, understandably, worries Ekan a great deal. I can't cast another spell or I'll drop this one. he instead does the only thing he can do, he stabs forward at the twig with his dagger.

To hit: 1d20 ⇒ 16
dmg: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

6 rounds of Bane

Tae pointed at The Huntsman of The Goblin Tribe and blasted him with pure arcane energy as he stood gawking at the Dragons head and neck.
Surrender, or flee from the Dragonmasters. This is your last chance. she shouts.

Zarrick quickly pulls the string back on the crossbow and slaps another quarrel into the slot and raising it fires. His aim is off and the bolt is lost in the pile of compost beyond.

Grommund steps up and trips on Klors big feet and misses his swing at the near panic Balsag...Get away from them ye feckin' gobboe

The dragons head continues to move to and fro as if surveying the scene as Ekan has to forego concentrating on its actions to strike at a Twig Creature with his knife. He chipped away at its bark.

Erky swings his spear like a club at a twig thing to his front attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 vs AC 13 and misses.

Balsag glanced back at his dead chieftan and at the dragon and he swallowed hard will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11 DC 15 and he muttered something in Goblin

Goblin:
Feck This!
and he turned and bolted through the cave entrance behind him. The only one who will threaten is Grommund. Take an attack of opportunity on the fleeing Bugbear. If you kill him he will fall at your feet. If not he will be where I put him for the end of the round. Far enough away in a darkened cave that theres dim light unless zarrick moves closer, which gives ranged attacks a 20% chance on missing unless you have dark vision.. Hes running....so you can let him escape or try to take him out.

The stick things attack. attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1 attack: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (6) - 2 = 4 vs AC 16 attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18 attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15 vs AC 17 and one managed to scrape Ekans hand damage: 1d3 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1 minimum 1 damage and DC 12 FO save Ekans Fort Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 and the little halfling quickly jerked his hand back before any of the dark tar like sap touched him.

5 rounds of Bane

Ekan manages to maintain control of the Image of a Dragon as he battles the Twig Creature in front of him, chipping away at the wood.

Grommund then steps forward and drops one of the twig blights. He was going to straddle Klor's fallen body, but saw his dwarven friend looking up at him...staggered but awake....

Zarrick fastens the leather cord that works as a sling for his crossbow and puts it over his shoulder and draws his mace again.

Tae calls upon her healing powers and touches Klor, and the bruises and bloody gash on his head heal....

Klor groans as he stands up retrieving his dropped axe.

Erky once more tries to bludgeon a stick creature attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 vs AC 13 damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

The young man's eyes pop open as he realizes he's laying sprawled out on a hard floor. Then he hears the sounds of combat, and remembers how he got sprawled out on the floor. He can't stop himself from reaching up and running a hand across the wounds which the skeleton had ripped across his neck, but finds scar tissue instead of bleeding gouges in his flesh. Even as he does this, he realizes that he's free to stand and re-arm himself, so he does, pulling another spear from the set strapped to his pack instead of chasing down the one which scattered when he fell.

Erky says Let me help with that Zarrick. and a quick Prayer and a flash of white channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5 and most everyone is healed fully, though Zarrick still feels a little stiff. Now Ive only got 1 more of those prayers.

Walking to the cave exit that Balsag fled down, Erky says Grommund, this cave is an entrance into the Darklands and he has a 30 second headstart. Im thinkin we won't be catchin up to him any time soon. Unless it's by ambush that he sets up himself.

Male Human Adept/2

Did any of the rooms we cleared have a lockable door in good condition?

two come to mind, with only one entrance. The 1st Goblin Bandit Guard room that the party gangbustered into after getting Erky out. and The cell area where you found Erky.

Walking around the fallen in the compost area there does not seem to be anything of magic. A quick search of The Chiefs body however turns up a very well balanced Longbow, with a strong pull. The Chieftain had on him one of The Hucrele Family Signet Ring's, The Daughters, and a Masterwork Composite Long Bow +2 strength damage....ie needs a 14 or better strength to use.

Other places to search would be Balsags area, the throne room, the common room, and the Bandit room off've it.

The young farmer is rubbing his head after the combat, when everyone else starts talking about chasing down the fleeing opponent or scavenging for prizes or resting or politicking or whatever. "That was worse than mucking out the pig pens or getting stepped on by a mule." As he makes the comment, he looks up and sees the rest going about the room, trying to handle the details that exist because they are alive, and he recognizes the need to get back to work.

He starts by gathering his scattered spear but then pulls out his shovel and starts re-arranging the mess on the floor, looking through it for anything which the group might want.

Ekan gives a look back at Klor's slur, "I speak Dwarven, you know that, right? How about this, you stop calling me Peck, like I've asked you to stop in the past, and in return, I won't start calling you 'Idiot'. Fair?"

He sighs and remembers his manners, at least to two others he's grateful for, "Thank you for the healing, Erky. I was only scratched, but it's good to be at full health again. Zarrick, I won't forget you rushing to my aid any time soon."

male Dwarf Fighter 1

Ekan, just let you know that I have nothing against you or your character.. Klor is just a little lacking in social charms and still has some old prejudices please to don't take what Klor says personal as a player.

You run off again, I'm tempted to let you die next time. I had to let all those breeders go upstairs to come down here and save yer arse. We cain't ever split the group during a fight again, too dangerous."

A quick search of the hunters sleeping area produces some fresh water in a barrel, some fried animal of some sort...giant rat by the look of it. There is a weapons rack with half a dozen javelins, a couple spears, a rusted hand and a half sword and a longsword that appears to have seen better days.

In a small foot locker without a lock are 60 silver and 36 gold.

After securing what they will, the group heads upstairs to the throne room where the bodies of the dead outnumber the living.

Total coinage taken from the bodies is 300 Silver, 60 Gold.

The Goblin Priestess had only a silver Holy Symbol to Norgorber, besides normal weaponry for a small humanoid and a key.

The key is found to fit into the small chest kept besides the throne and enables the party to bypass the trap on the lock. within are 240 Silver, 6 Onyx Gemstones with 30 Gold each, 2 vials of a clear liquid, a scroll wrapped in black silk, and a potion vial that has a brownish liquid that is thick and oily.

Within Goblinville amid the detritus strewn about the group finds 2 statuettes of dwarven soldiers worth 30 Gold each, 3 silver rings worth 30 Gold each and 5 rather nicely shaped Moonstone worth 30 gold. There is also a usable chain shirt of normal craftsmanship.

When they are finished searching for valuables Grommund heads back to the guard chamber and prepares it for them to rest in.

We're just resting now right? So we can level up?

Male Human Fighter (Polearm Master) 2

I thought we were resting because all the rechargeable expendables (spells, channels, etc. were pretty well used up. Leveling is a bonus event.

That and the group of novice adventurers have been at it since about 6am with an interruption the night before for a fight, and its about 4PM. Remember to mark a days rations off. Ive done so on the consumable list. Replenish your waterskins at the bugbear's sleeping area, before heading up. Once loot is divvied Ill give the ok for rest and levelling. I dont want the divvying to take long and it will if I dont put constraints. ;)

And again meets with a total lack of success.

Finally on the second vial, she smiles.

She shrugs her shoulders and gives the others a questioning look. "I'm unable to make heads or tails of these first two items items, I'm sorry my skills have failed you. But this last vial, I'm pretty sure I know what it is."

As soon as the DM confirms the success, she tells the party what she thinks it is.
