As a head's up:
I moved 1,000 miles 7 months ago. Thursday night my wife finally arrives.
The movers MIGHT arrive on Friday.
My internet connection changes from one apartment to another on Saturday.
So, the odds are REALLY good that the last meaningful connection with me for this weekend will be on Wednesday.

Heads up. on this last Saturday, I started a new Job. Im trying to get settled into the new schedule and work out posting times for me. As with all new jobs the initial days are a mess. It wont take me long to get settled...but please bear with me if things stay slow for a couple more days. Ill try to have this next turn up by tomorrow and should have things settled in by this weekend.
Sorry for the slow down.

Wife and household goods both showed up. The bathroom, bedroom, part of the living room and some of the kitchen are in order. Enough that we can live day-to-day while she goes through the rest of what she brought and gets it all put away. I hope she can make it all fit. I'm really not certain she can. Still have boxes scattered in the dining room, living room and kitchen, and the second bedroom is about 50% full of boxes, too.
She's spent the last seven months getting rid of stuff, too.

excellent. Ill have this ones post up tomorrow. From there I will post in the mornings on this game from here on out so my two games are on opposite times
So you know what occurred. The Company I was working for got bought out, and when the turmoil increased to unbearable I looked elsewhere for employment. This place doesnt afford me the chance to post during the day and has a little more volatile schedule, but a better pay plan and no headaches...
I have a schedule now and can insure the posts pretty much once a day. So thanks for being patient.

no problem, glad things are going better for you. SOrry I've been so quiet on the boards, but I had a memorial service to attend.... 8 hours travel on Thurs and today, and lots of family stuff on Friday and Saturday...I'm home now and able to post.

So sorry about your loss. I know losing a parent is so very hard. Take whatever time you need, we'll all be here when you feel like gaming again.

Yeah, I used to be able to see them fine. Nothing has changed that I know of. Google docs drawings can handle anything up to 2 MB, and takes about 5 seconds. Two clicks.
I'll try the invite thing. PMing you my e-mail.
| GMMichael |
sent it. see if that works. I have no idea what might have changed to cause you to not see them now. I havent changed any settings, and as it's only you...it leads me to believe it is at your end.
Ive never used Google docs, and have to admit btp not being that computer savvy and with my work load, anything thats not easy isnt for me. See skydrive has up to 8 gigs of memory so I can keep the maps for an entire dungeon there. thats a big help. as opposed to loading and deleting constantly. Heck with everything Ive might there now I havent even used up 2 gigs.

So where are we and what's going on?

No problemo. Sorry to hear about your troubles, but I'm glad shes home now... hope she has fully recovered... Dialysis is tough, I know, my dad was in final stages of kidney failure when he died and we did a lot of research on the process.

"I know not'ink!"
I was just saying in another thread that I have built up a bad habit.
I keep each game I'm in open in a browser tab, with that window on the Discussion tab of the game. When I check on my games, I refresh each browser tab and double-check the gameplay tab for indications of new posts. I seem to miss more Discussion tab posts than I thought I was . . ..
As for his dialysis-dependent wife being ill . . .. He did say something about that. We lost my father-in-law when he became too sick for the dialysis team to be able to "plug him in" to the equipment. His body simply wasn't strong enough to support the transfer of fluids outside of itself. His sick was pretty bad, but if he hadn't been dialysis dependent, it wouldn't have been lethal.
Honestly, I hope the story is NOT relevant.

Hi all. Yeah things have been pretty rough. Between working, keeping all the house things going, like shopping and cleaning, and helping my wife....Ive lost my grip on time. I wish I could tell you things were going to get better, but I cant. I appreciate everyones checking in.
I had no idea this was going to occur when I started the game or I wouldnt have.
I'm hesitant to give anyone hope at this point. I hate to say that Im probably going to have to pull the plug on my online games, but I cant see through the problem to an end. I just don't have the time to do the game justice.
Im open to suggestions on how to continue. But, Im afraid Ill have to end things.

Wow, hate to see this game die off, it's been a lot of fun! but I thoroughly understand your needs and time strictures. Thanks for a very great game, and I hope all goes well for you in your personal life. Take care and thanks for stopping in and letting us know what was going on.
Please set this game to inactive so it no longer appears in our campaign feeds. Thanks.
And if things change in the future, I'd be open to restarting from where we left off - just send me a pm if that occurs! :)

I'm not going to post this in character, because that would cheapen it, I think.
Micheal, do what you need to do for you and yours. The ONLY reason I can provide for you to even TRY to keep ANY game going is as a release. But only you know if you can do that. And any reality on our side recognizes that you are probably far more apt to pull that off in a player role than in a GM role.
I don't think any of us want to be an additional source of stress in your life.
Fair winds and following seas, Michael. Feel free to contact me if you need to bend an ear.

Thanks again Michael. I understand real life as well. I dropped two games, one of which you were in. Hope all goes well and life allows you time to enjoy rpging. You are an awesome GM as well as a player character. As Tae said, I'd be willing to pick up where we left off if you ever wanted to continue this adventure. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family in your time of need, especially through the upcoming holidays.
