Grommund ran forward and brought his axe down on one of the Goblin Swordsmen. Dropping him in his tracks.
Zarrick pauses to consider what they are doing and then moves around the bramble toward the cave mouth.
"Gonna get yourself killed like that!" Larry yells as he moves forward. He pauses next to one of the pale white trees with the pale white glow, it's thick branches devoid of leaves. On the other side near the cavern wall is a small stick-like bush, also devoid of leaves, though small batches of mold cling to its bark.
Ekan mentally orders his lights forward as they fly above the bramble and out into the cavern.. He stalks along the wall after doing so.
Klor runs forward 20 feet reloading his crossbow as he goes and then fires another bolt. ranged attack vs AC 15: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 confirm crit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 damage: 2d8 ⇒ (5, 7) = 12 The bolt plunging through the shield, pinning the Goblins arm to his head as it penetrated his skull . Further in the cave the Bugbear and Goblin reached their master and began to explain what was going on.....
The protruding walls in the cavern complex are parts of the old Dwarven Fortress that jut out from the ground providing Cover for those behind them +4 to AC. These walls are only 5' high on the flat side, on the side with the dirt they are 3 feet high, allowing the Goblins to see over the top. Acrobatics DC 25 to jump over. Climb DC 20 or just go around.

Grommund doesn't want to kill the goblins so much that he's willing to die with several of them still standing. He cuts a retreat around the corner to Erky. "Hey," he grunts on arrival. He begins the painful process of pulling all the arrows out of himself.

Klor comes running up cocking and reloading the crossbow as he does so.

Larry says to Grommund, and the others nearby "I say we use these side passages for some cover and see if they won't come back out after us."
As he finishes speaking briefly, Zarrick comes jogging up to join them, passing the heavily armored Klor who was moving along the opposite wall.
Ekan moves forward about 20 feet and then mentally commands the lights to dance forward 30 feet, limited to partial movements while concentrating on the lights in a humanoid shape.
Larry and Tae both step forward a few feet.
Erky looks at how injured Grommund is and calls upon a healing burst that bathes the walls of the cavern in a flash of pure white light. channel: 1d6 ⇒ 2 It wasnt near enough for Grommund, but m,ost everyone else had little nicks and scratches healed.

When you say right behind Tae, do you mean it is too close to draw out a defoliant and throw it without getting an aoo? IF that's the case, she'll just do an eldritch bolt. Either way it's a ranged touch to hit... so here goes... I guess I'll save the defoliant for the next one and just do an eldritch bolt on the closest one:

Your round is continued. Please if you didnt see them react accordingly. Though your friends actions will allow you to see them next round. For this round though, if you attack you get a -2 to hit and a 20% miss chance
Klor is the first to stop and look around, glancing from shadow to shadow...don't know why, but I am gettin a bad feelin'
Grommund here's his friends words and looks around closely, his eyes going wide as he realizes once around them...."Them shrubberies 're movin'. Same wee buggers as afore.".... "I don't think they're gonn' follow us lad. They've got a defensive position thar."
Tae follows Grommunds gaze and almost jumps when she realizes theres one within 5 feet of her starting to flex its claw-like branches. "More of those twig creatures... all around us. Look out!" and follows through with an Eldritch Blast that sears the wall behind it but misses it.
Zarrick feels the hair on the back of his neck stand up, but does not look around yet as Taes blast has him guessing where one is..dont forget the perception check to actually see them for what they are. at least until they move and reveal themselves.
Larry too feels uneasy but cannot make out the plant creatures, such is their stealth..."Are you sure? I don't see any of them?"
Ekan follows Mysabel's gaze as her feathers ruffle and beak opens and shuts "I see them alright. Are you sure they're defensive and we should leave them alone? Because if they get closer... we'll, we're in trouble." and he fires off a ray of frost at the one nearest Tae. which coats a few of its branches....Technically Ekan would've had to step forward 5 feet to fire his ray, so consider him 5' forward in B12. Hes adjusted on the master map.
Zarrick can move and take an action or make his perception check and take a standard action. Klor, Larry, and Grommund all have either move or standard actions to perform...

Round 8 Continued
Grommund holds his ground hefting his axe.
Larry gives Erky a glower as the lithe Cleric stands peeking around the rocky outcropping and steps over besides him.
Klor stalks forward readying to fire.
Zarrick looks around for guidance on what to do.....
Erky moves forward to Grommund and mutters a healing prayer to The Drunken God. clw: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10 then says That'll do it for that spelkl. Only have the bursts now Dwarf.

This Twig-Creature grabbed at him attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3 Vs AC 17 The Creature was no closer to hitting the dwarf than the dwarf was to hitting it.

Standing just outside the lit area by his dancing lights, knowing it has a short while remaing by my calculation 2 rounds. Ekan once more coats several branches with frost on the twig creature near Tae.
Tae blasts the nearest one to her with an eldritch bolt that splinters it into non-existence.
Larry glances at Tae as she blows the one to oblivion and steps up next to Grommund saying "Pardon me" and scatters the Twig creature assaulting the dwarf into kindling.
Tae responded "Thank you Larry.. that creature came quite close to hitting me a moment ago... you're skill with the spear was just what was needed... I fear we are facing many more of them and worse though.
Klor backed up a step and fired off the loaded bolt at the twig creature directly to his front, the bolt going past it and sailing out to snap on the cavern floor please make sure you mark off a bolt. remember, hit recovers, miss loses. The rocky outcropping stopping the one to his his front right from attacking him while he fired. Dropping the crossbow at his feet, he pulled out his axe.
Grommund seeing the one destroyed to his front by Larry, moves to get between the ones advancing and Erky, crashing his axe through the first ones body.
Zarrick fires his crossbow at the one that Klor missed, and his bolt too is lost in the darkness of the cave. mark off a bolt

The Twig Blights continued there advance...Grommund being closed on attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4 vs AC 17. The attack was clumsy and did not get close.
Erky is attacked by the one he poked with his spear. attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11 vs AC15. He swatted the claws away with the butt of the small spear.
The other one shifted around the rocky outcropping reaching clawed hands for Klor. attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5 vs Ac 18, Klor too batted the claws away with the haft of the axe.
Like little twig-like zombies they came forward relentlessly. More joining the fray.

Larry can move as far as L13, if all 3 fail their saves. He'll move that direction and attack whichever of those 3 is still up and closest to Tae, the one in K12 if they all fell.
Watching Tae move up, Larry sighs. Seeing her step up to a crowd of the creatures, and in a clear shot of the archers, he cringes. "Now who's taking risks?" He scurries through the tunnel, acutely aware of how big a target he's giving the archers, and drops another of these little creatures.
