Druneor Hammerstriker |
Aye, I can be helping with that.
He fishes out the wand of cure light wounds and taps Kunala and Gin with it.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 Gin
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Kunala
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 Kunala
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Kunala
Kunala |
As Druneor uses the wand on Kunala his wounds begin to heal, that feels much better, my shoulder is still sore but I can use my shield well enough, nodding to Druneor Kunala acknowledges the help. "Thanks Druneor, that's much better, shoulders a little stiff but nothing I can't live with." Keeping a careful eye out, Kunala, pistol at the ready, inspects the room. After clearing the room he begins to check the four doors on the southwest wall.
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
when he gets to the doors he will take 20 (23)on perception to check C6D
Gin Kyomaru |
Gin gave a low bow to the Dwarf, thanking him in a most respectful manner before arranging himself closer to the center of the area and watching over Kunala and the rest of the party.
Kunala |
anything other than a note?
"Well these were clearly clerics of brigh" Finding a note in a pocket of one of the decomposing bodies, first reading it to himself then to the group " I... I had a vision. Brigh spoke to me. The wanderer walks below.. intent on opening the door. Beware!!!" looking up at the team he smiles and adds "Well that sounds ominous." Handing the note to Cheliandroshel, he adds "Now lets see what is behind these lovely doors."
he will take 20 (23)on perception to check C6D
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Unless this is the downstairs that they were talking about, in which case, how do we go up.
He shrugs in resignation.
Well, open away
Helikon |
Upon entering Kunala encounters nothing but warm moist air. The air in this room is unusually warm and moist, with a thin, pale vapor of mist clinging to the ceiling, causing the lighted panels to diffuse and become muted. Condensation runs down the walls along with a riot of unusual brown and dull green vegetation. The moist, thick-stemmed plants and vines grow out of long earth-filled troughs along the wall, while a tall column of plant matter extends like a tree trunk from a circular planter in the middle of the room to spread a network of vines across the mist-shrouded ceiling. A low humming sound fills the air.
Kunala |
'we should have brought Mr. Moss with us, he would know what to do here' Rather confused by the large plant and the moisture in the air Kunala walks in the room looking around carefully as he calls to the team, "This room has a plant in it, someone please bring the image thingy over so we can move on."
perception: C6D: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Earlier
He tucks one of the warhammers into his belt on the way by.
Now
Hearing the call about the image thingy, Druneor moves up and starts setting up the apparatus.
I still say that we should be moving as quick as we can. I do not feel as well as I could
Cheliandroshel Daggelorian |
Chel moves into the room, carefully picking his way around plants and dirt, examining the plants and vegetation to see if there is anything unusual about them.
kn nature: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
kn dungeoneering: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
kn arcana: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Just threw all of those in there in case anything other than nature was needed
Kunala |
Kunala, being a fan of all things expensive and rare, admires the plants for a moment then proceeds to the next door C6c and inspects it for locks and traps, once he feels it is safe he will open the door and look inside.
he will take 20 [23] on perception for the door and take 10 [13] on perception for the room.
Helikon |
@Kunala you find evidence that some beings have hatched rather violently from some dead gnomes. Their belongings and remains are destroyed beyond recognition.
@Cheliandrosh You are absolutly sure that those plants can not be from golarion. Maybe from another plane or the first world.... the soil is also.. strange.
Kunala |
as long as the aliens popped out of them after they were dead, not while they were still living, I've seen that adventure its a TPK!
Kunala looks around the room for a moment, shaking his head, grimacing "Eeeeeewwwwwww, nobody deserves that, not even gnomes" leaving the door open so his fellow adventurers can look inside he goes to the next door.C6b Inspecting it carefully for traps or locks. Once he is confident it is clear he opens it and looks around.
he will take 20 (23) on perception for the door and take 10 (13) for the room.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
After running the picture keeper, Druneor quickly packs it up, and prepares to move along.
Aye, that was a horrible way to go. I wonder what caused that.
Helikon |
Kunala can not find a trap. The brown card does not open it, the black does. After checking left and right Kunala opens the next door.
This room reeks of stagnant water and decaying vegetation. A long
trough of water runs along the walls of this room; a layer of brown
scum and algae grows on the water’s surface and on the walls. A
single workstation sits in the middle of the room connected to a
large machine made of tubes and bubbling tanks of water.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Well, this is odd, but I guess I will start to set it up again
As he swings the strange picture device off his back, and starts to set it up again.
In today's episode of wild explorers, or is this national geographic :)
Kunala |
Kunala, turns to Druneor as he is using the machine, smiling, waving his silk hankie about and winking, "Well if we find nothing else, we can dry these plants and see if any of them have a medicinal purposes when smoked."
Nearing Gin at the 'northern hallway door' smiling in his accented lisp, "Well my Tian friend shall we see what is beyond these doors?"
Inspecting the doors carefully he first tries the brown card and then the black, thinking to himself. 'I need to make sure I understand when theses work, it may become important'
Kunala will take 20 (23) on perception to inspect the doors for traps.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
I don't know if I want to see what they do if they are dried and smoked.
He continues to set up, operate, and then tear down the machine.
Kunala |
Kunala steps through the double doors, seeing the double doors to the front and the single door to the side, 'If I have my bearings right we came from this way.' Pointing to the right, He says "It seems we came from that way, lets double check to make sure before we go on." He uses the black card to open the door to the east, to make sure that was the hallway they were in, then he goes to the double doors to the front and investigates them, taking the time to make sure it is clear.
I did two moves I hope that's ok, opened the east door just to verify it is the hall then he will take 20 on perception for the double doors towards the north
Druneor Hammerstriker |
After tearing down the machine, Druneor walks over to look over the console as well.
Taking 20 on engineering for a 27
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Aye, I will talk if you be peaceful
He stops about 10 feet from the creature.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
He quickly glances around at the others.
I think we should be able to do that,
have you tried to leave before ? and what stopped you?
Kunala |
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 just trying to get a good look at the creature
Kunala turns looking at the creature, waiving his pistol around flippantly, "Yes, as my fine dwarven friend has asked, what has stopped you, and did you say treasure?"
diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 just trying to make friends ;)
Kunala |
many blackwalkers I wonder if he means the four arm undead or the metal men Trying not to stare the green fellows hammer, Kunala continues chatting with him continuing to flippantly wave his pistol, "I am Kunala and these are my associates, The honorable Gin, The stout Druneor, and the creative Cheliandroshel, We can provide companionship and protection. The blackwalker, are they the four armed walking dead or are they the metal men? Also, we are exploring, why don't you come with us and when we reach the outside you want to go to you can let us know."
sense motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4 well that's just embarrassing
