Kunala watching Gin and Elasbeth interact with the sleeping old man, remembers he has a passenger and asks in his accented lisp
"well Mr. Moss was that your first experience in witnessing a fight, I hoped it looked better from your vantage point than mine. Is the person here near us, he happens to be in some kind of clear case, is he the councilman Baine you sensed earlier?"

Actually Gin never met him. The two pathfinder who brought you here did owe him one. And you owed them.
No magical auras on him.... But a few in and around a desk to the north.
"Am I do not know him personally you know! He didn´t come over, smiled at me and invited me for a some food? I just know someone who was called bane was called. If he doesn´t speak... I can not identify him.

Gin seems to become.. much less upset at his recent failure though nowhere near cheery. He eyes Kunala, Elasbeth and Gustav warily before nodding to himself and taking a deep breath.
Gin walks up to the glass... looks at it not knowing who or what it was.. and tries to break the glass to pull the man out.

Elasbeth points towards a desk to the north and says, "There are some magical aura's over there. You might want to check them while I exam...Gin DON'T!" Her expression turns to horror as she sees him swinging to break the glass and she tries to throw herself between his blow and the glass.

Kunala, relived that they were able to get the case open without breaking it, he leans over the old man and attempts to wake him up. He places his hand on his shoulder and gently shaking him he says in his accented lisp.
"Councilman, wake up sir, we were sent to fetch you, can you sit up or walk sir, wake up sir, were going back to Torch."
turning to Elasbeth and Gustav, he asks them
"can you tell if he is ok to travel?"
If a little alien pops out of his chest, Kunala's done; he's going to leave the cave, go back to Torch, get very drunk and then head back to Cheliax!

Not bothering with the dice roll as I make a 7 heal check when I pick up the die. Oh, and sorry for the delay, I was trying to give Gin a chance to respond.
Checking the man over Elasbeth replies, "He seems alright, he's asleep, his breathing is fine but a tad slow, normal for someone asleep." She reaches out and shakes him, but gets no response. Snapping her fingers, and splashing a little water on his face does nothing either, "I'm not sure why he won't wake up though. Maybe there is some information over on that desk there." With that, Elasbeth moves to the desk where the magical auras were and begins to find which things are magical, which aren't, and whether it is safe to move them.

The man is surprisingly heavy, but for the strong bloodrage it is no problem to carry him. You manage to find some strange box with a red button and a green little display, a strange pistol like item with a needle as muzzle, a brown strange well rounded gun, two canisters with a strange symbol of 3 quarterdisks, and 2 clear flasks of unknown material with a green liquid inside
In another heap you find 2 potions of cure light wounds , scroll of
detect radiation, scroll of technomancy, scroll of unseen
servant, wand of magic missile (CL 3rd, 44 charges), acid (2);
amwk dagger, amulet of natural armor +1,antitoxin, everburning torch, a bedroll,flint and steel, a mwk backpack, rations for 5 days, a waterskin, a winter blanket, 52 gp, 4 sp, 3 cp

Kunala picks up the items that are in the strange box, describing them to Mr. Moss as he puts them in the pack beside the fungus. then finding the heap of items he places those things in his pack as well, telling the team in his accented lisp.
"I have found a trunk with a few items and what looks like a wizards backpack, I will bring them along. I think we should take the good wizard back to torch and come back and continue trying to find out why the torch went out, what do you think my friends?"

"That is probably a wise idea Kunala, though let me examine these various substances first to see if one of them is a way to wake the wizard up." With that Elasbeth begins to check each of the liquids for something to wake the wizard up so he can leave under his own power.

@elasbeth, unfortunatly you do not have any ideas, for those items you need more time. You think one is a fluid injecter and the fluids could be put into the injector, but ... this is quite advanced tech. The button think could be anything. You can identify the items if you take one hour, but be adviced some items can be incredibly dangerous.
For example how would you different a hand grenade to a noice generator.

She's not going to do too much more with them unless the party wants her too, though her curiosity about these things is very high, she knows better than to mess with them too much.

Kunala is clearly impressed as he watches Elasbeth create a breathing sack for the wizard. He asks the team in his accented voice.
"so after we get him to the surface and to the "forge" will we come back and continue trying to solve the mystery of the torch going out?
Helikon, do you want us to roll the swim checks to get out?

After the team reaches the surface they return the unconscious wizard to his foundry. As they carry the body in lay him on one table Kunala calls out in his accented lisp, as he sets down all the items they gathered and lays them out on another nearby table.
"Val, Oh Val dear, would you come out here please?"

AS Kunala is unpacking the gear, he lifts Mr. Moss out of the back pack and sets him on the table beside the other gear, he is pulling. he explains to the fungi.
"This is the "foundry" it is the wizards establishment, and the young lady I have called for is Val his daughter. The items gathered here on the table with you are what we brought from the underground complex you were in, I think some of it belongs to the wizard and some of them are items from the complex, do you know what any of the items are or what the complex is?"

Running to her father with happy tears Val after a moment stops.
"What is with him... we need to fetch a healer!"
Kunala unpacks meanwhile the items and the moss rolls over the items.
After a few moments the moss speaks up. "Well, most of the items have energy. Not all. Most items are either made of a polymer, but others are made of silicia. That is all I know. Sorry."

poor guy, he really sounds sorry, look at that he can roll over stuff, I wonder if we can help him be more mobile
Kunala, not quite sure how to respond to the fungus he answers in his accented lisp.
"It's ok Mr. Moss, that's more than I knew before, not that I know what silicia or polymer is, but it will help some. We need to find a home for you, I'll bet the wizard will be interested in talking to you when he awakens, and he knows a lot of stuff, so you love talking to him, excuse me, please"
He goes over to Elasbeth and Gin and says
"It will be good to have Vals father awake, he will be able to help us immensely."
going to Val and patting her back trying to console her he asks in his accented voice
"would you like one of us to go to the temple and get a priest?"

Gin gives the man a deep bow, showing the most respect. " Khonniru-san isu well.. Ai amu glado "
He looks to the rest and a small smile creeks upon his face.

one down, now to figure out what happened to the torch
Kunala smiles as the healer reveals the good news, before the healer leaves Kunala asks him in his accented lisp
"good healer, would you mind informing the counsel that the wizard has been returned and we are awaiting our reward?
Turning to the team Kunala confesses
"These items we found, I believe some to be the wizards gear and I believe some to be from the room we were in. Mr. Moss called the material they are named from something that I have never heard of before. Shall we wait for the wizard to tell us what they are? About tonight, do we stay here and guard the wizard or do we go celebrate?"
I eventually want to get back to the casino and try 'gather information' ;)

Gin places his hand upon his chin rubbing it in a thoughtful manner, " Khonniru-san isu very imporutanto. We shouldo watch overu himu. He willu tell ifu somethingu isu his or not. "

Kunala smiles and nods his head in agreement with Gin, going over to the ale on tap and pouring three frothy mugs he carries them to Gin and Elasbeth, handing one to each of his partners , he responds in his accented lisp.
"You are definitely right friend Gin, but this does deserve a toast and when this is over we will celebrate our accomplishments properly, right?"
he lifts his mug and declares
"to a long and successful collaboration"
drinking some of the ale, he smiles to himself and goes over to the table and tells Mr. Moss
"We may have eventually found him with out you but you helped a little, here drink up"
with that Kunala pours a little of the ale on the mound of red moss and then laughing at his gesture he sits down near the table of newly acquired gear and sips his frothy beverage.

Elasbeth accepts the drink and joins the toast. She seems rather distracted but otherwise content. As the evening goes on she says to her companions, "After what we've dealt with I am not sure I am ready to delve into such places. I will stay involved as best I can but I believe I can serve you better by staying here." Having said her piece, she gets up and looks at Gin, "I am exhausted, would you care to escort me to my room?" Her tone and look leaves Kunala at least with no doubt as to what she has in mind for the strapping Gin, whether Gin realizes what is about to happen is another matter entirely.

Gin was devastated that Elasbeth no longer wished to travel with them, though he understood. The area had proven to have many things the group in no way could have expected. The rescue of the older man successful but not without difficulty and the Torch still refused to burn.
The invitation however.. took Gin by surprise completely. It was his duty however respond to the fair lady's words with respect. Not that he minded doing so. Gin gave a slight bow, moving beside Elasbeth to take her hand. " Ai wouldu be honorudu, Erasubetsu-san. "
He would be completely kind and careful with Elasbeth as she mentioned her fatigue, but once they arrived in her room and he expected to leave; That was when he would be caught unawares.
