Druneor Hammerstriker |
There is a difference Gin, this one did not attack us right away, and wished to talk.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
He looks close to, but is not the same as the others. Besides, if it turns angry, you can hit it.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Druneor waits for the answers while he tries to think of other questions.
Kunala |
'The darkwalkers are our little friends that we killed the gremlins for, we should be able to help out.' Kunala smiles finally understanding the plants meaning, placing his hand on his hip he practically oozes sympathy "Ah I see the Darwalkers are our little friends Sef and Sku-pags."
He turns to Gin, nodding with his head, "You remember them Gin, we did that bit of wet work dealing with the gremlins, while we were still in the caves." still smiling he turns to the green man, "Yes Sef and Sku-pags are old friends. We should be able to come to and arrangement. When we partnered with them they gave us their names, just being polite company. What was your name again and what happened to your Kin?"
pointing toward the hallway he had just explored "We will still need to investigate everything we can before we return to the surface. Anything you can tell us about this place will speed our departure, is there anything dangerous that way we should know about?"
another diplomacy roll for asking the question
diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Kunala has a "sense motive' of -1. anyone want to make sure this guy is on the up-and-up?
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Druneor looks a little confused over the comment of Redhair, and Metal men, and four armed smellies
I have not run into any of those, but the others might have.
Kunala |
metal men, could be the metal men we faced when we found the councilman, the fourarmed smellys we've seen, I wonder what a redhair is' Kunala responding to Druneor says in his accented lisp, "We have faced metal men and fourarmed smellys, the first seem to be a construct of some sort, the second some form of undead. But I have no idea what a redhair is.
Smiling at the team he nods back to the double doors, "Shall we go then?" he walks back out to the hallway north of the room they were in, and goes to the double doors and, using the black card open them and looks around, saying, "I'm sorry Mr. Plant man you didn't give us a name, do you have one or should we give you one?"
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
I guess he is to busy talking to pay attention to where he is going
Helikon |
Pondering for a moment the plantbeing responds. "Redhair leader of first group. Woke us up. Killed some just for the fun of it. Had some more seedlings with her. Shortly after she passed this area, there were many changes. Food gone. Was a drop for food, always. We ate, not good, bland, but nice. No need to gather. But now all gone."
Druneor Hammerstriker |
I am not sure who you are talking about.
Druneor looks at the others with a bit of confusion.
Kunala |

Having followed the little green guy over to the tube in the plantroom, Kunala turns his head a as he covers his nose with his silk hankie, 'yes that would make sense that a plant man would feed on s!&%e, don't particularly want to stay here though' Kunala smiles at the plantman moving his kerchief, "Thank you for showing us, and you have no worry about us hurting you. Why don't you grab a little for the road and let us be on our way."
Turning to the team he asks "Shall we proceed on our way?" As he asks he heads back out to the hallway and attempts to open the double doors using the black card.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Aye, let us be on our way. I am sure this fellow would like to leave quickly.
He quickly moves to finish packing up the image taker, and then carries on.
Kunala |
pointing toward the hallway he had just explored "We will still need to investigate everything we can before we return to the surface. Anything you can tell us about this place will speed our departure, is there anything dangerous that way we should know about?"
my assumption was he would travel with us, is that ok with everyone?
Druneor Hammerstriker |
I have no issues with that.
And if you could stay near the back of the group, we will protect you while we leave.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Easy way for right now. We promised to get him out.
Kunala |
once the team takes the odd little green man out through the caves and the water Kunala graciously accepts the hammer looking at it carefully: 'I hope someone can tell if it has any special qualities' Nodding to the plant-man "Thank you for the hammer, where will you go now? Also is there anything else in the metal rooms that we should watch out for? We assisted another plant from the metal rooms, we call him 'Mr. Moss,' would you like to meet him?"
is there anything he can tell about the hammer just looking at it?
Kunala |
He did ask the little green guy:
... where will you go now? Also is there anything else in the metal rooms that we should watch out for?...
is there anything he can tell about the hammer just looking at it?
I meant was there anything that Kunala can tell about the hammer?
Also, would anyone like to help identify the hammer or cast detect magic on it before we go back to the "Cave"?

It looks very much like a tool than an actual weapon but is made from an extremly hard metal. Light hammer made of adamantine-like substance.
Druneor Hammerstriker |
So not a warhammer then. :)
BTW, just got back from my trip.
Kunala |
Helikon, about what time of day is it? Just wondering if the team should rest or not.
After saying goodbye to the funny little green man Kunala tucks the hammer in his belt and turns to the team, placing a hand on his hip and asking in his accented lisp. "Well gentlemen, shall we rest now or do you want to head back into the darkness? Either way we should probably tell the locals what happened to the gnome clerics."
Kunala |
out of curiosity if we did not escort him to the surface where did we escort him too? I assume we will head back to the double doors, or near there, I was thinking we would investigate C8 first.
retuning to the metal hallways after helping the little green guy escape, Kunala instead of turning into the plant rooms stays in the hallway and investigates the door to the right. C8 investigating the door, he informs the team, unshouldering his shield and drawing his pistol from the holster, "Shall we investigate here before we head to the area the little green guy called 'dangerous'?" Kunala then attempts to open the door using the black card and look inside.
perception: door: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Druneor Hammerstriker |
Aye, that works for me.
Druneor waits to see what if anything comes out of the double doors.
Helikon |

[dice=perception: door]1d20+3
You escorted him beyond the desert to the entrance to the darklands.
Following the paths you find that only three areas left. Wich one to investigate?
