@ team: do we want to mess with the body in the cold cave? Would a dungeoneering check tell us about the mold? I think Tamoq has knowledge with Dungeoneering. I think we can use a rope and grappling hook like Kunala said earlier to drag him out. Or do we just want to go back to torch?
@ Helicon is there some way the swimmers who can take ten can aid Elasbeth? would attaching a rope between Elasbeth and Kunala allow him to make a role to aid her?
@Helicon: also if Kunala holds his breath as he swims out will he be able to determine if they can swim out without the "breath water" spell.
@Helicon: lastly if I understand the diplomacy skill right it has three basic actions I copied this from the PFSRD, I will try to keep time/round in mind and I have no intention of abusing it. IE. I will not try to use diplomacy in combat.
•Influence Attitude: Using Diplomacy to influence a creature’s attitude takes 1 minute of continuous interaction.
•Make Request: Making a request of a creature takes 1 or more rounds of interaction, depending upon the complexity of the request.
•Gather Information: Using Diplomacy to gather information takes 1d4 hours of work, searching for rumors and informants.
You cannot use Diplomacy to influence a given creature’s attitude more than once in a 24 hour period. If a request is refused, the result does not change with additional checks, although other requests might be made. You can retry Diplomacy checks made to gather information.

Bring this to discussion so the gameplay thread does not get filled up with unrelated stuff. Now my response to Kunala's post.
Geez really, so you cut out Kimos because he did not want to drag a infested body back to town. He made it clear that it was best to leave quickly before their timer ran out and leave the body. Sense they have no way to remove the infestation, they are just aware of it. Maybe you would not have to make those saves if you left as he did, maybe you were exposed to the mold and that's where the save is from. Maybe you just brought a plague to the town as you have yet to remove said mold from the body and it's going to end up infecting others now and spawning monsters. Giving us something else to deal with besides what we already have. Not to mention endangering the town we are supposed to help. Which was why Kimos did not want to take it back in the first place. Kimos made his point and stance, others disagreed, he is fine with that. That does not mean he is going abandon them to their fate or hold it against them now or later. He could have done that during the frog encounter if he was that type.
As things stand Kimos has no reason besides the reward and desire to help the town as his reason for doing anything. You undercut him and he will have lost one of his reasons and find the party far to unsuitable for his taste. Why would he stay at that point?
Kunala
It’s interesting because we are talking about character knowledge like it is player knowledge, if Kimos was not at the pond he doesn't even know the party had the bodies and would get a reward. Based on his actions (and on what you just said) I think Kimos would have not wanted anything to do with the corpse. Again all the points you make about Kimos' reasons are player knowledge not character knowledge, all the characters know is what He said and what He did.
In your response you said: “That does not mean he is going abandon them to their fate or hold it against them now or later. He could have done that during the frog encounter if he was that type.” But in action that’s exactly what he did, in Kimos’ next-to-last statement to the party he said "I will be returning to the surface. There is no need to rush considering things. If you wish to press forward that is your choice." He abandoned the team in the middle of negotiations. Even with the frog he said move, move and when Kunala moved Kimos failed to fill the hole and poor Raffinyaler got bit. Again, the difference of player knowledge and character knowledge.
Also in your response you said “As things stand Kimos has no reason besides the reward and desire to help the town as his reason for doing anything.” Which, his actions supported. Then you said “You undercut him and he will have lost one of his reasons and find the party far to unsuitable for his taste. Why would he stay at that point?”
Well your final point is that his reason is the “reward and the town” the party is not one of the reasons: he is not in it for the party, he is in it for himself and then the town, which is again what his actions supported. Clearly his actions are completely self-centered, not group oriented . From; listening in on other peoples private conversations, to letting Raffinyaler get bit, to walking out on the party that selected him to represent them in negotiations while still in the middle of those negotiations. Your playing him that way so that is how Kunala is responding to him.
Having said that when they returned to the tavern Kunala was going to give him the Masterwork chain shirt and encourage him to stay with the party to reap the rewards. Also planning on spending the money on cold iron weapons to kill the gremlins.
This is my opinion, I hope everyone weighs in on the issue.

I'm sorry to hear that Kimos. But if you feel you need to then sorry to see you go. You wouldn't have been left out, if nothing else I would have gotten what you wanted with mine had our gm not chimed in already.
Elasbeth Evergreen
I got my spells changed out and added the masterwork dagger, I'll donate the regular dagger into the pot of stuff to sell.
Also, I cut my spell book list from my main stat block and put it in a separate spoiler section so it is easier to find and see.

Well relatively speaking he's 43 years old which for him isnt all that old.. but for a Human is well into middle aged, He would appear young I suppose because of racial difference.. Much like a 'young' Elf is well over 100 years old.
Gin Kyomaru
Well I'm the new guy... I shouldnt be setting the pace unless... thats my new job.. Gin has a strong personality, but he's already embarrassed himself the first time coming on his own. He's going to follow for a while first.
Kunala
Gin, if you want to set the pace be my guest, I don't think its been working to well for me :)
I've been hoping we would hear from our trap guy Rafinyaller, but all the role playing was fun to read.
Helikon, I assume we need to go to the smithy and pick up our weapons, Also, Tomaq said to get some scrolls, then back to the temple to get water breathing, Right?
Also, Gin do you have any cold iron weapons, Kunala has a cold iron Morningstar you can use. or we should be able to spend a little on something else.
Kunala
we were asked by some humanoids in the caves to remove some gremlins, they are called jinx's or something like that, they have resistance to weapons except cold iron, If I remember it was Raf. that knew all that.
You may do enough damage with your large bastard sword that the resistance won't matter :)
Gin Kyomaru
More than likely.. Considering when he's not channeling his bloodline he does enough to knock a person out.. and more when he does. Outright kill some things as well.
Kunala
groovy,
Helikon, is there any chance, if Raf. doesn't join in; that you can bot him for the traps? I think all were waiting for is Raf.so we can go to the smithy an pick up weapons then to the market to sell the items and get scrolls.
Does the silver holy symbol sell for 25 gp or 12.5 gp? Since it's silver.
my understanding is that Elasbeth and Raf selected MW daggers and we are picking up a MW cold iron Hammer and a MW coldiron dagger (small), do we want to by anything else while we are at the smithy? Also Raf. said he wanted a hand crossbow(possibly a MW if we can afford it). I think if we do that we won't be able to afford scrolls, we are at 490 getting half price for items.
Kunala
Ok, I'm a little confused, you said "nope" to the question if "you can bot him for the traps?" then you said "I will bot him and you all can ask for a replacement skillmonkey"
so let me change the question. If we go into the cave with Raffinyaler in the party and one of use find a trap or locked door using perception and point it out to Raffinyaler; will you bot him to disable the trap or door, or is he just following along.
@ everyone: On searching for a replacement skill monkey; do we want to do an open recruitment or do we want to ask someone we are already in a game with to put together a skill monkey? Any Ideas?
edit Or do we just need to ask... Can we have a replacement skillmonkey? :)
Kunala
@ Tomaq, do you want any cold iron knives for throwing? Also, what scrolls do you think we should get? We have 490Gp to spend, if Miniri doesn’t need MW thieves’ tools.
Does anybody else have any ideas or requests? Should we spend what is left on potions of cure light wounds?
@Gin, dude eat something you look famished, your stomach will stop growling and it reduces stress over attractive woman!
Gin Kyomaru
Honor is MORE IMPORTANT, take only what is given to you or what you can get yourself. HOWEVER never deny a woman her needs, in this case.. it happens to be ALOT of food.
As for loot, maybe save it until we need a wands of CLW or something.
Kunala
hey the party is just getting to know each other, I don't know that I'm comfortable talking about "Woman's Needs" yet, I still have to find a decent pair of pants!
your right, do we by a couple of potions or save for the Wand? Any other ideas, hopefully soon there will be enough cash and we can split it and buy what we need, right now were just at 100 Gp each. So I think we should pool it.
Tamoq Swarmcaller
I only have my MW cold iron dagger, but that should be sufficient for a while. We could request some simple cold iron daggers be crafted as well while we head back to the adventuring. As far as spending our gold, I think we should buy maybe 2 scrolls of cure light wounds for emergencies (50 gp) and then save the rest for a wand.
Kunala
It looks like Miniri will be able to use cold iron arrows (2gp) and maybe a cold iron shortsword (20gp), if we also get two cold iron daggers (small) (8gp) that will be 27gp for weapons; two scrolls cure light wounds for 90 gp.; add a travelers outfit at 8 sp. We are at 117 gp 8 sp. If we sell just the MW hand crossbow and the silver holy symbol it will put our cash at 313 gp 1 sp. So we would have 195 gp 3 sp remaining and Miniri could use the MW chain shirt and the MW lock picks.
We will put the scrolls in the water proof bag.
Helikon is it ok to assume these purchases were made after we leave the tavern on our way to where ever we will start at?
Elasbeth Evergreen
Hopefully we have someone with a high enough umd to use the scrolls, I don't, least not reliably I don't think due to emulation checks.
Tamoq Swarmcaller
cure light wounds is on my list, I just don't have it prepared. So I can cast from both scrolls and wands. So buy two scrolls, and maybe 1 potion incase I'm the one that gets knocked out and you guys have to feed it to me.
