Towards the middle/rear of the group.

my assumption for order would be: Tomaq due to vision, perception and Korba, then Kunala due to ranged/pistol attack, then Gin, then Mimiri again for ranged attack, then Esasbeth. These are just assumptions. If Tomaq doesn't want to go first then he can switch with Gin. If Gin doesn't like third he can switch with Kunala or Tomaq.

@ Helikon, obviously we are heading north from A7, don't know if there are two or three options. If one of the humanoids can point us in the best direction that would be wounderful! If not show us the options on the map and we will pick one.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Why would Kunala be before Gin is it is for ranged? And Gin isnt a Healer, so really he shouldnt be in the middle, at the same time I guess he does have a faster move speed and can outpace the first two or reach the back if someone tries to attack Elasbeth or Miniri

Korba, dire rat companion:
hp 11/11 | AC 16, Touch 14, FF 13 [Primal: +2 natural) | Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +1
Male ratfolk Hunter 1 | hp 9/9 | AC 19, Touch 15, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +2 | Init +4 | Perception +9

Tomaq and Korba can take the lead, and go into the center of the large cave, looking for trouble with darkvision.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Lets put Gin second so he has a chance to charge (also his perception is better). Kunala will fire his pistol and then holster it and move into melee. the pistol has a 10 ft. range that's why the closer the better.

So Tomaq, Gin, Kunala, Miniri then Elasbeth.

Korba, dire rat companion:
hp 11/11 | AC 16, Touch 14, FF 13 [Primal: +2 natural) | Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +1
Male ratfolk Hunter 1 | hp 9/9 | AC 19, Touch 15, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +2 | Init +4 | Perception +9

Shouldn't the range increment be 20 ft. for a pistol, not 10?

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

20ft range increment is correct

Gin's Elven senses try their best in this harsh environment.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

brain laps your right 20 ft :)

Kunala follows along behind Tamoq and Gin trying to looked serious in his new travelers outfit.

1d100 ⇒ 511d100 ⇒ 5
After Tamoq enters the cave confidently but weary Gin enters the room just to feel a slight depression and hearing a soft "CLICK".
Trap: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 201d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8. From the side a wickedly jagged spike is propelled into him impaling his left leg to the bone.8 damage

Korba, dire rat companion:
hp 11/11 | AC 16, Touch 14, FF 13 [Primal: +2 natural) | Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +1
Male ratfolk Hunter 1 | hp 9/9 | AC 19, Touch 15, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +2 | Init +4 | Perception +9

Man, that must have been a well-hidden trap for Tamoq not to notice it.

"Well... that's no good. We'll have to be even more cautious...?"

You rolled one too little. One point.DC 26

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

"*gasp*Are you all right Tamoq?" Elasbeth tries to get through to him, "Let me get to him so I can check the injury."

Korba, dire rat companion:

Male ratfolk Hunter 1 | hp 9/9 | AC 19, Touch 15, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +2 | Init +4 | Perception +9

"it was actually Gin who was injured. Myself and Korba walked right past the trap.""

-Posted with Wayfinder

Kunala finds the vial of cure light wounds and hands it to Gin

looks like you might need this more than I turning to Tamoq and Korba he says friends we are in no hurry, take as much time as you need

we can take 20 on perception right?

depends

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

Whoops, missed that.

Looking in confusion between Tamoq and the injured Gin, Elasbeth tries to figure out what happened, not figuring it out before the potion is given to him.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Gin cringed as his leg was pierced and bit his tongue to suppress the pain. He took the potion and drew it back.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Rips the spike from his leg and seems to knit up his wounds.

Miniri sighs and shakes her head.

"I told you before and I will say so again... ruins are often trapped by their creators to keep out plunderers, raiders, animals, and the unworthy. Please be more careful... the next trap could be something aimed at your head."

So saying she looks for further traps and triggers near them.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Helikon, where are we on the Map?

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Gin looks away and down from Miniri in shame and simply nods " Yesu.." taking her words to heart and trying to be more careful this time. Stepping forward after Tamoq once more.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

thanks

Kunala points toward the northern tunnel and asks in his accented lisp

shall we proceed that direction ladies and gentlemen, and remember patience is a virtue, not that I believe in practicing a lot of virtues

smiling at his own depravity

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Ah forgot we had a map, then He moves upward with that action

Gin is not completely sure what Kunala meant by that but she moves northward

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

Miniri looks down the tunnel, rolling her cat eyes as she does to Kunala's final comment.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

You see a small face around a corner that hides when you look at it.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Gin or Miniri?

Gin, pretty sure there arent any traps will chase after the little creature. " Get backu heru! "

Kunala who was behind Gin instinctively follows behind him, trying to keep up and also see what the Half-Elf was chasing

perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6

well it was worth a try :)

Running after the creature Gin can see it throwing some wickedly sharp objects at him, just to feel some pain in his foot. Looking down he can see some sharp caltrops. Kunala eager on his heels suddenly feels the same pain in his foot. 1Damage each, caltrop rules apply
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 81d2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Bu the caltrop missses Gin widely.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

How close is the creature from him, can he attack?

a little confused

caltrop:
Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops (or spends a round fighting while standing in such an area), it runs the risk of stepping on one. Make an attack roll for the caltrops (base attack bonus +0) against the creature. For this attack, the creature's shield, armor, and deflection bonuses do not count. If the creature is wearing shoes or other footwear, it gets a +2 armor bonus to AC. If the attack succeeds, the creature has stepped on a caltrop. The caltrop deals 1 point of damage, and the creature's speed is reduced by half because its foot is wounded.

wouldn't the attack need to beat a 12 since we have foot wear on?

I can roll for all... or you accept that you just get hit once.
You can booth attack.

eerk, I'm afraid to ask how many 5 ft. squares he covered...forget I asked... lets just go with the one point damage and the 10ft. movement until healed :)

Kunala levels the pistol at the little beast, squeezing the trigger the pistols roars spouting fire and smoke.

pistol/cold iron bullet attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 for damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Gin had enough, his body tenses his muscles and then he rushed the little creature. Electricity started from his feat and eyes and surrounded the Sword in his hands as it shined. He swung down with abandon.

" Zankantou: Shippu Dotou! JINRAI! "

Raging Elemental Sword Slash: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 192d8 + 9 + 1d6 ⇒ (3, 8) + 9 + (6) = 26

Rage as a free action, Move up and attack, Swift use one of my elemental attacks. Did Gin actually take that 1 point of Damage If so Allocating that now 5/7 Rages left; 1/3 Elemental Attacks

Yes he did. Under the combined might of gunpowder and might the Gremlin dies. What now?
Gin the caves here are too low to effictivly swing a large weapon much less a large large. For every step above medium you get a stacking -2 circumstance malus to attack. I forgot to mention it before but from now on....Its for all caves with a 10
you find some mw trapmaker tools, made for a small ceature and quite a few pieces of scrap metal. 3 of the pieces are of a strange alloy.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Its only large I already took that penalty it is at best as big as a Greatsword ( A bastard sword is a Medium one handed weapon remember) meaning I have about 3~ish feet of room assuming I can fit in there, what is the height of the cave?

Gin tries to find more Gremlins Slightly tired from the first swing.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Yep I feel corected. But it is still a large medium sword.
the cave is around 1.70m high. You can all walk here but it feels quite inconvinient. No malus in movement.

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Ah so enough that Gin has to crouch, but instead of swinging down he has to swing from the hips upward. Closer to a batter's swing or some forms of Samurai schooling.

As Kunala sits down and reloads his pistol. He says to Gin in his accented lisp

Gin if you do not mind let’s wait here for the party to catch up to us

He then removes his boot to see how bad the damage is and calls down the tunnel to the team

be careful of the caltrops in the tunnel

When the party arrives he waves his foot at Elasbeth and asks a nicely as possible

Elasbeth would you be a dear and take a look at this for me, I believe it only needs a bandage… at least this time it’s not my arse

that’s secret code for asking for a healing skill check to see if I can walk, before we waist a spell

Helikon are we at the same spot on the map or have we gone further up the tunnel? Also, can Kunala pick up or move the caltrops so no one else steps on them?

Trust me it does not work well. My hapkido teacher was adamant about excursions to train at strange places. Trust me fighting in such a way is hugely diffrent than a regular dojo. It impedes you, but does not forbid. I will try to challenge you, but I try to stay logical. Otherwise... where is the fun?

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

I also have had training with large weapons namely, Claymores, Staffs and Polearms. They lose effectiveness for maneuvers that require large arches but as you admit dont become LESS deadly. I was also made to run through areas not well suited for such weapons.. often chased y my instructor who bat on us until we learned. I however am not a Pathfinder Adventurer who is most likely leaps and bounds more experienced and stranger than me. If It is an issue I can simply use the Other bastard sword which takes the same room as a longsword and be fine. It'd make little difference.

Gin stops and nods to Kunala, barely noticing the Caltrop lodged in is boot.

I've used a fork before, it wasn't a cave but the pub was dark, and the booth was small, does that count? :)

Edit: sorry couldn't resist, anyway, the map sir, may I draw your attention to the map? :)

Female Half-Elf Arcanist (White Mage) 4 | HP 20/20 (0nl) | AC 12 (16), tac 12, ff 10 (14) | Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +3 | Init +2 | Per +2 | Technologist | Arcane Reservoir 1/6

Checking over Kunala's foot, Elasbeth sees the problem, "Alright, I'll do what I can, but it's going to take a bit to accomplish. If I don't get it out and bind it right it could very well get worse rather than better." She gestures for him to sit and slides her pack under his foot. She sits down and starts to work on his foot.
Heal check to treat caltrops: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Once she finishess with Kunala, she looks to Gin, "Did you step on any of those things like Kunala, if so, better let me take a look at it now rather than later."

*Edit
Hehehe, wru-ro.

For sure they are still deadly ;-) THats why it is -2 to hit.

Korba, dire rat companion:
hp 11/11 | AC 16, Touch 14, FF 13 [Primal: +2 natural) | Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +1
Male ratfolk Hunter 1 | hp 9/9 | AC 19, Touch 15, FF 15 | Fort +4, Ref +7, Will +2 | Init +4 | Perception +9

Tamoq shakes his rat-like head at the two who blindly ran to chase the gremlin without the others, but follows. He sees the caltrops the others have been stepping on and takes the time to carefully clean them up as he moves.

"Well done killing the gremlin, though running into the dark blindly isn't a habit you should form. Allow Elasbeth to bind your feet... we shouldn't use healing magic on just a small foot puncture."

Female Catfolk Bard (Archaeologist Archetype) / 2 | AC 16 T 14 FF 12 | HP 9/15 | F +1 R +4 W +2 | Init +2 | Perc +4 | Luck Remaining: 6/7 | Spells Remaining: Lvl 1: 2/3

Miniri also follows as carefully. "The ratman is correct... running blind through here is a recipe for setting more traps off."

Male Half- Elf Bloodrager (Spelleater) 3| HP 28(34)/28(34) | AC 17(15) -T 11- FF 16 | F +5(+7)/R+2/W+1(+3) | CMB +7(+9)/CMD 18| Init +1 | Perc +8

Gin looks away from the rest of the group and says nothing, attempting to hide his shame more.

" Ai wasu very carefuru. Ai couldu See ito. "

Bluff: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Female Catfolk Bard (Archaeologist Archetype) / 2 | AC 16 T 14 FF 12 | HP 9/15 | F +1 R +4 W +2 | Init +2 | Perc +4 | Luck Remaining: 6/7 | Spells Remaining: Lvl 1: 2/3

Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 7

Miniri rolls her eyes. "I have as good vision as you in here and I couldn't see him... and even if you could see him you probably would not have seen any other traps while running after him."

She points to the walls, the floors, the roof.

Kunala, still sitting on the ground putting his boot on says in his accented lisp, waving his hand about smiling.

"Not me, I couldn't see a blasted thing. I was running through the cave willy nilly, but when we corned that little twit I put a bullet in his brain pan. Then Gin there turned him into so many pieces of sushi."

Then Kunala stands up testing his injured foot.

if I understand right his movement, without healing is 10 ft a round
