Being the spiritual successor to Gods and Magic, it comes as no big surprise that Divine Mysteries is chock full of reprinted material.

What content changes or stealth errata have you noticed?

I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the endure spell get a huge boost. Its duration is now 1 minute instead of 1 round.

My edit got timed out.

Edit: Endure also lost the mental trait, allowing it to affect more targets. The increased duration takes it from mostly useless to a situationally useful option.

A one action pat on the back for 5 temporary hot points/rank is rather nice when it ladts a full minute. One change I noticed is that the Revised version of the Pacts witch patron's hex from Dark Archive had Rank x d4 mental damage added, which is nice for a one action cantrip that also debuffs attack and damage rolls.

Cloak of light (originally from Pathfinder #172: Secrets of the Temple City) has had a rather substantial increase in healing and damage; from 2d4 to 4d6. The heightened healing rate has also more than doubled from 1d4 per two ranks to 2d6 per two ranks.

Its duration has also increased from 5 rounds to 1 minute. That takes its base healing for the whole party from 10d4 to 40d6! That's nearly three times the average healing of a single-target two-action heal of the same rank!

On the flip side, undead in the area now get a basic Fortitude save against the vitality damage (previously it was no save).

Befuddle got added to Occult giving the debuff extending Witch a huge level 1 combo.

Agitate got added to Arcane Fighters will appreciate Wizards who cast it.

There appear to have been some retcons in the lore.:
Apsu's wife is now named Sarshallatu, and they have seven children including Dahak. Sarenrae and Asmodeus are still enemies, but she no longer believes him irredeemable. That is now reserved only for Rovagug. Also, Naderi looks to have been retconned away, maybe. She goes entirely unmentioned, and there's a different explanation for the rift between Shelyn and Urgathoa.

Agitate was already an Arcane spell.

Does she appear in the supplemental table? Because if yes then its just matter of space, if no, then that raises eyebrow.

I must have just mind blanked that. Then again I ignored most Gods and Magic spells.

Nope, no sign of her...I suspect it might be because of what she's the goddess OF, and the risk of portraying that as glamorous or romantic...

Damn. That's one more arcane-only spell gone—and one of the most relevant ones, too.

It kinda seems like they could have just emphasized her nature as goddess of tragedy and grief, if they really did remove her completely that seems confusing.

Naga domain got some big changes. In particular the advanced spell is completely rewritten.

Syncretism appears to have vanished.

The giant, goblin, and orcish pantheons have been added. So have infernal dukes, daemon harbingers, sakhil tormentors, and qlippoth lords. Sadly no velstrac demagogues, rakshasa immortals, or oni daimyo.

They also added stats for Aroden, the Devourer (from Starfinder), Lissala, Camazotz and some other gods.

I have noticed this and I am NOT happy about it! That was my favorite feat in this Edition! D:<

Oof, Syncretism is a big loss. I don't know about the power level one way or the other, but it was a huge win in worldbuilding terms and representing real world religious practices. It'll still be legal in PFS unless it's called out specifically, but it's still a shame.

I suspect the sorcerer feat Blessed Blood may also have gone unreprinted, which is also a pity.

Dragon domain's 1st is significantly altered as well.

Got a huge buff for martial minded casters (flat damage on Strikes for a minute) but you can now only launch a single dragon before it ends.

Naga advanced domain is straight up busted lol.

EXACTLY! I don't care about the power level, I wanna do the Pathfinder equivalent of Serapis or Hermanubis! Like a kobold worshiping some kind of Iomedapsu figure inspired by Peace through Vigilance, or a Desnan who treats her and Black Butterfly as a singular dualistic entity! This ****'s cool!

I really hope we get some new arcane-exclusive spells in Rival Academies. I like when all the traditions have something to themselves, and arcane was always the one who had the fewest unique spells. Still bummed the Power Word spells haven't returned in some form; unlocking ur-words that reshape reality feels about as arcane as it's possible to get.

Honestly, I'm happy she's gone, more so if this is the reason why. For personal, real-world reasons her inclusion has always made me uncomfortable and sad.

I would imagine it's a removal in the way the owlbears were removed. They're still there - but they won't be mentioned ever again.

I know for a fact that Tiamat got removed for a simple reason: the removal of OGL content.

Because, while D&D did not invent Tiamat (who is the Mesopotamian primordial embodiment of the sea), they did invent Tiamat as the Five-headed Goddess Dragon.

Spoiler:
As for Apsu himself? He's based off Tiamat's consort, the primordial embodiment of groundwater. Crazy, am I right?

To expand on this: Paizo's Tiamat was never five-headed. They didn't copy D&D Tiamat. She was always very much in the background, because they never figured out how to differentiate their Tiamat from the D&D version. They did change things because of the association. They'd have been fine to keep the name, but played it safe because D&D has so fully staked out Tiamat in the TTRPG scene.

That and they really don't want to make mythologically accurate Tiamat because lot of them did start out as D&D fans so D&D Tiamat is kinda "the" d20 Tiamat to them.

Oh, interesting.

Gorum's armor:
apparently was a prison for the Starfinder Devourer. Who was a splinter of Rovagug the whole time.

Hence why it's now a Pathfinder deity. Also, if Rovagug keeps losing pieces of himself, we're going to have to start calling him Vecna.

Uirch, one of the newly ascended Orc gods, has taken Torag's place in the Talon of the Godclaw. Appatently the two are quite close, having privately collaborated during Uirch's mortal life. Torag also served as Uirch's second during his crucible, and Uirch returned the favor by saving Torag's life when the latter was attacked by a vengeful Grask Uldeth. This revelation is apparently somewhat controversial for both Dwarves and Orcs.

The Wyrmkin domain now seems to be the Dragon domain, with massive changes to Draconic Barrage.
RIP my 10 scaly spell attack rolls, you will be missed.

Also, on the note of the Talons of the Godclaw, this seems to be a seperate pantheon to the Godclaw. It does mention the old one (which includes Torag) is still giving power to its followers.

Oh cool. im going to read more on the talon of the godclaw part and see how it fits into my current campaign

I'm a subscriber, and this is the first I've heard of that. Where exactly is it?

Dark Archive

I assume no longer anywhere, since it was neither in single chapter or chapter by file download. One person I asked said it was in their file download. I'm annoyed at this point since I can't tell if people are trolling me or not x'D But I've seen enough people claim it that I'm assuming that maybe some subscribers got it accidentally then they took file away from file upload or something. I have no clue at this point

That must be it because I see Milani, Naderi, and others in the Nexus version of Divine Mysteries... but I just downloaded the pdf, and they are not in that.

Can anyone link to or export the nexus supplement? Does anyone have a link/copy that can be shared. Note if its part of purchase just say so, not trying to request pay for content, but in the past online supplementals were not part of purchase and were issued for free.

The Nexus version of Divine Mysteries is a bit extra cost.. though if you have the Paizo pdf you pay less than if you do not. If you purchase books at Nexus, you get the pdf as well.

That said, you can find the info from the table on this link as well. https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/deities or specifically https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/deities/naderi-rm and https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/deities/milani-rm

I don't have divine mysteries on demiplane and I was able to see link to Naderi you posted .-. Turns out you can witness deities list without book I guess? I'm slightly confused

(Either way its handy, I can now update my PFS Damerrich champion without needing to wait web supplemental table to be out xD)

(nexus seems to have missed book had two versions of Lissala, the ancient version and modern version. Ancient version allows both holy and unholy and modern only unholy)

And completely out of nowhere. Uirch is WELL documented over many PFS scenarios, and never had ANYTHING to do with dwarves. Teaming up with Sarenrae would make more sense, as he followed her in life. With all the revelations about Torag being kinda s**ty in Sky King's Tomb, maybe he's trying to redeam Torag, but it's a weird thing to add in.

As to joining Godclaw... WTF? Uirch is super CG. I know we're not using alignment anymore, but there's no way he would fit along side the regimentation of the hellknights.

Hah, you can't trick ME. Everyone knows that we have to freak out and make snap judgements about Pathfinder books we haven't read. If we didn't flip based on secondhand information skimmed and recounted to us without the context or storytelling that made it interesting, would we really be Internet TTRPG Nerds?

Cori Marie wrote:

Oh, I have. It's a nice story that goes good to improve Torag's image after it was tarnished in Sky King's Tomb. And improve relations between dwarves and orcs. It still comes out of nowhere and has no support in any of the previous Urich material.

I also talked with the author who WROTE Urich in the scenarios, who agreed this felt unsupported. She's the one who pointed out the godclaw problem to me.

It's not that it's a bad move, and teaming up with Torag isn't even out-of-character. It's just out of left field with nothing to hint at it from his prior portrayals.

Cognates

Nah I'm with thistledown on this one. I've seen the context and it does feel like we've gone from A-C where B explains why Urich would want to be involved with the hellknights. I don't mind it as a thing that happens, i'd just like to know more.
