Given the politics of OGL currently playing out, I thought I would offer to run any consensus AP using the PF2e rules, even if its an older Adventure Path. I have some experience running PF2, but am not, by any means, a rules expert. New players (or established) are welcome to express an interest. If you have a favorite AP to try, then feel free to share when you comment, and we will get a consensus if we proceed.
Would require daily (or close to it) posting frequency to keep the game moving. Generally any Paizo published character details would be allowable. Usually not 3PP stuff however.
Thanks, and happy to answer questions.

I enjoyed our shared experiences in the past and could be on board as a result.
I'm not much into 2e either. I've done more D&D5E than PF2E, and not a whole lot of that.
I would prefer a good guys story of some kind. Once they got past the arena combat mindset, that's what these games were designed to be, after-all, the PCs as the shiny heroes.

I would love to make to a dwarf ranger and go after the giants, but you should run a game you really like. I am sure the game system will work out -- I remember listening to the Glass Cannon Podcast guys run through second edition pathfinder. I still laugh remembering Troy Levalle running his human fighter Kieth Slashmaster with a Boston accent.

Delighted to be seeing more PF2e interest here on the boards! I salute you, DM DoctorEvil, for wanting to take on converting an AP. It's not a staggering amount of work, but it's far from nothing either.
I have the big Abomination Vaults tome that I've been considering running, but I'm not sure I can do it justice with the other games I'm playing/running right now. One on the boards, another IRL.

Nice! I’ve always wanted to play curse of the crimson throne, hell’s rebles, or war for the crown. I’d be interested to see how 2e’s changes affect the social aspects of these APs.
Good luck.
I would be fine with any of those. I especially like CotCT hardcover edition, which I thought was really well done. I have not run or played either of the others however.
Welcome any other suggestions.

I am in for any AP!!
Did the 2e playtest, but nothing more. Roll 20 has chapter 1 kingmaker for free. I would Venmo you the $100 if we make it to book 2 to get the entire AP.
I don't own the Kingmaker hardcover yet. I have played through that entire AP in PF1 a few years back, so I might be less interested to run it than others, but would consider if popular opinion prevails.

For all without PF2 experience, that's why I am offering. Think there are lots of folks who might want to try, but are a bit intimidated when facing those with more experience in the system.
I readily state my experience is only slightly more than novice, but think it's be fun to explore the deep dark corners of the rules together. So no worries at all if you have no experience.
Pathbuilder, HeroLab (does cost $), and some others are easy places to tinker with PC ideas while you wait. Happy to answer any questions in that regard as well.
Mostly, the rules will be secondary to the story and the roleplay, so don't fret too much about it. Just bring the adventuring spirit.

Sounds like you’ve gotten plenty of interest…including from me! I’m a returning 1st edition veteran after a long hiatus from the boards. I have several 2nd PDFs and the Core in hard copy, but zero familiarity with its nuance.
I don’t have any preference on adventure; I’m just interested and excited to be getting back to this wonderful creative platform. Once the campaign’s decided, I will strive to come up with a fun and compatible character concept.
Looking forward to how this turns out!

With that approach I’ll play anything you run but I think some APs naturally lend themselves to this. My first vote would still be curse of the crimson throne for this reason. However, I haven’t played it so take it for what it is worth.

I am very interested in doing any AP, especially with the new ability score changes! I am playing a little 2e here on the boards, where we updated our 1e game of The Emerald Spire Superdungeon to 2e shortly after it premiered.

Happy to see such interest in a PF2e game. There are many available APs, Adventure's that are already made for PF2e.
I understand that we are all familiar with rping, gaming in general, but, coming from PF1e to PF2e is a bit of a difference in rules, Tactics, and experience.
My home group transfered by playing Age of Ashes. It just came out. We finished in November.
The biggest hurtles were rule changes, limited AoOs, and just thinking we knew how it work only to find out not...lol.
The mist common worded phrase during that AP.
Well, that's how it was done in 1st edition.
Just my 2 cents.
Welcome back, DM DoctorEvil!

Thanks for all the interest. It seems there are enough who would like to give PF2 a try, that we should start a table. Tomorrow, I will decide what adventure to make a real recruitment for, and post it for applications. I'll leave a link here also. Appreciate the time you've taken, and hope to see you in a game soon.

That was our experience too, Dorian. PF2e is a wonderful game, but it is a different game from PF1 and the assumptions of 1e don't hold in 2e. E.g. standing still and attacking as much as possible is a bad idea. No full-attack meta here!
Fist of the Ruby Phoenix was my first and only AP that I ever played to completion, and I did it as a sprite monk (with non-ironic stats). Mobility made her a joy to play in melee! Aaaaand not having every enemy in the game get AoO because of size difference made a tiny character playable. (I did get swallowed whole by two monsters though.)
@Dr. Evil, looks like you have a ton of interest. I’ll check out what AP you’re looking at, and will consider if it’s a players-are-the-good-guys AP. But even if I don’t, I appreciate this recruitment and the invite targeting PF2e newbies!

I would be very interested.
I have yet to play Pathfinder 2e, as I had drifted over to 5e and other systems at the end of Pathfinder 1e.
As you (DM Doctor Evil) have stated, the current environment as it pertains to the OGL/ORC has rekindled my interest in Pathfinder in general.
No preferences on which AP as beggars can not be choosers. Thanks for offering to run a game, I look forward to putting together a submission.

I am already running an Age of Ashes and Quest for the Frozen Flame game, both still in Book 1.
Most likely I will be retrofitting a PF1 adventure for this table, and am thinking mostly of CotCT or Runelords. Share any feedback and I will get a table set up tomorrow.

Please note that I have started a Recruitment Thread for Curse of the Crimson Throne which should be up and running now. Some build rules and advice is included in the opening post.
Hope to see you all there, and thanks again for your interest!
