When does sign up end? I may roll up a wizard. Also be careful with DoubleGold. He has a habit of annoying the piss out if his fellow players (like murdering friendlies, and annoying ooc messaging). GMs seem to like him though.
I might just have to roll up something for that too. That's been on my to play lost for some time.

2 things:
1. I think we need someplace safe where to recover spells hps and the like, then regroup and prepare a plan (btw how long did the travel from the underground to the city last after we got out of that cultist hideout? Did we have time to recover spells? Hps? Damage to stats?)
2. I hope Tess stays but if she's gone we need to consider a sobstitute for her role.
It was a short trek through the sewers maybe 30 min from the mongrel lair. By after securing a location you can rest there. Though the surface is far from safe atm.

And Striker, I think Karthak was asking (and if not, I will) how long we "totaled" underground, from our first fall--ie., how many days have there been for things to go to the Abyss up here? I seem to recall resting twice (?): in the abandoned temple, and in the mongrel village.

I'm out of healing magic, Pollux can't easily heal, I don't know how many healing potions we are left with, and Jokum is down. Is one of the NPCs able to help in a situation like this? It would make sense to if they could

I think Anevia may have a potion if you ask her. They can help a bit in a fight, they're all level 5 but with their injuries they'll only assist you if you ask.

That's something I've always noticed with adventures. The path to 2nd level always seems longer than the path to each level afterwards.
Now not only are you getting XP for the fights but there's a lot of story exp available as you escort the NPCs to their destinations. Depending on the route you take you could hit lvl 3 in a few more fights.
Going to be at a con this weekend. I'll try to get in and post but it'll be few and far between.

Mildly interested in the ranseur, but since I usually end up right in the front perhaps it would be better given to someone else? (I'd say Pollux given how well you've been using the long spear, but you can't actually use a ranseur, can you?)

Go for the ranseur, Kathak could not use it even if he wanted.
As for the decision ahead it should be clear I favor the "rest now move around later" approach but if the group wants to go on I will deal with it of course.
Another question: any news from Tess? Things seem rather dangerous and we could use a spellcaster.
