I'd like to warn all the new players about Karthak and the way I play him: basically he's a zealot. He's a true believer in the crusade and the NEED to eradicate demons and their followers. Certainly he tries obeys laws and when possible spares enemies to give them a chance at trial but he's not, at this point at least, a very forgiving or accomodating character. Much of this is immaturity on his part and maybe he will "grow" during the play but at this point he's can come out as a bit unplesant although I like to think he has some redeeming qualities too.
I hope this way of playing him won't offend anyone but I feel Karthak will have some issues with 2 tieflings in the group and will need to see them in action before he could really trust them

It's no problem. My last game had a female dwarf ranger who berated Voren because he was a tiefling. The player ran it by me beforehand and I was okay with it.

Unfortunately our player changeover has meant that he's lost the "I went through hell with these people and want to keep an eye on them" motivation, except for Karthak. And that relationship's always been a bit rocky.

Well Jokum is in the middle of a city literally swarming with demons and cutists, and the situation seems on the brink of toppling what's left of his heritage along with the rest of the civilized world.
Basically for Jokum and the others apocalypse is happening and they have a chance to stop it just before it devastates everything. So the question should be:"Why would Jokum NOT want to stick with the others in trying to prevent the end of the world?" he might be anti-crusader but the alternative is clearly a million times worse.

I want to bring up a few questions before adding anything else to my plan. About the Long Term Care action, I want to take it. I can work on 8 patients with this action. But it takes 8 hours and I need 8 hours of rest and sleep to gain my spells for the day. Also, it says that it requires items and such, like bandages and salves are easy to come by in settled lands. Does the Defender's Heart and the rebels have bandages and salves for me to use?
Next, the Treat Deadly Wounds action. It requires uses from a healer's kit. While I do have a healer's kit, I think that it might be more important out in the field. Do the rebels have spare healer's kits? Also, it requires an hour per patient.
Finally, something that I will most likely end up doing. I have an item called Healy Myrrh. When the resin, it can fill up 8,000 cubic feet. The smoke lasts for 8 hours. Any creatures that are resting or receiving long-term care in the area with the smoke regain 1 additional hit point per level. I could burn this and have the wing be filled with the smoke. The downside is that it's my only healy myrrh and it costs quite a bit (50 gold for each dose).

Wow... 6 hp each. Time to get to work then. But I have a quick question: Voren has the Blessed Touch trait. It allows him to heal one additional point of damage when using lay on hands, channeling energy, or casting a cure spell. He also has a wand of cure light wounds. My question is: does blessed touch affect my wand of cure light wounds?
Also, are Silya and Raziel still with us?
Voren: Blessed Touch would not affect the Wand's healing effects unless you created the wand yourself.
Not sure about Silya and Raziel. If not I will NPC them through this mission at least.

Guys, I have made an alteration to Voren. He is not over 700 years old. I looked it up and I seemed to have made a miscalculation. The Worldwound opened in 4606 AR and it is (presumably) 4713 AR. So this would make him around 123 years old technically. I apologize for this. In every instance before, when he said he was over 700 years old, please change it to 123 years old. Thank you.

Guys, would you have a problem if I used my darkness spell-like-ability? Most of us can see in the dark. Arthas can't see in the dark. The cultists can't see in the dark. But, Faxon has darkvision.

Karthak, isn't Jokum an aasimar? They can see in the dark. It says in his alias that he has darkvision.
Arthas: At this point, if you command Radiance to shine it will act as a torch. A Darkness spell or effect will sill lower the light level one step to dim everywhere except the square Arthas is standing on. If Radiance increases in power, like becoming mythic or something, we'll have to recalculate that.
Let me send a PM to those guys first. If there is no response in a day or two, I'll get replacements.
