As long as we've been playing this game, have you gotten even one sneak attack in, Xaivan? If not, that's absolutely criminal.

Also, I agree with holding off on leveling until after this encounter is over, it just feels right.

Lastly, I have a question for the GM: can we start getting XP earned posted after encounters/events? I'd just prefer if it were tracked publicly.

Even more lastly: PbPs that make it this far feel rare and I have to say I've enjoyed playing with all of you guys. I look forward to continuing in the future. Making it to level 2 with the original party mostly intact is a pretty nice accomplishment. Keep up the good work Striker, and everyone else, I'd love to see where this adventure takes us.

As far as I'm concerned I have no problems with the way XP have been recorded till now. The GM knows when it's time to level and when it's not, counting every XP (and all the math involved) is not what levelling should be about imo.

As for level 2... I admit I would have liked to level now, but if the rest of the group feels it's better to wait I will go along with that decision.

That and I agree with Pollux about the group, I'm having a good time playing with you all, and I hope we can go on for a long time (I have had PFS that lasted a couple of years so I know it can be done... :P)


If you would like I can just post the current totals when you earn them so you get a visible cue but don't have to worry about tracking them yourselves.

On another note any clue when Tess will be back?

Yeah, since its an AP I guess the leveling can be done however we feel is best.

I think that if I have had sneak attack chance it would have been with my bow. I don't think I've had good luck with my initiative rolls so I haven't caught anyone flat-footed. Not that it matters since I didn't really build this guy with heavy combat in mind.

I'm fine with whatever as far as XP is concerned. Leveling...I definitely can't tonight (way too wiped, sorry), and it might be cleaner to wait till after the encounter. But all's fine by me. :)

I also have really loved playing this; I'm still relatively new to PBPs, but I've found out quickly how easily they can fade/wither. I'm hoping that this stays strong for a long, long time--I've been having a blast. :)

Seems like the option for moving our icons (which are separated items from the map it seems) wasn't made avaiable.

Karthak will move near the first meat shi... mongrelman and slash at him/her/whatever asap...

Edit: I'd like to level, and I think we need to stay togheter if we wish to survive this. I know there are rooms we didn't explore above yet we can very well do that after we deal with the opposition down here.

So I guess we might get an extra +1 to our BAB or something, better than nothing. I'm not familiar with the mythic aspect of this but I'm assuming that has no bearing on anything yet.

There's no mythic aspect yet, we need to do some mythical quests first and then gain mythic tiers... and I guess we didn't do anything that qualifies yet...

Word on the street is we don't get mythic tiers until the end of the first adventure. So I'd say don't hold your breath for them ;)


That's correct you get tier one at the end of this adventure. Map should be fixed.

Glad to have you back Tess, if you need time to deal with RL that's fine, we can save your spot as long as we know your coming back ;)

I'll do one last summery of the current round to make sure everyone is on the same page as we transition.

So I'm going to change how combat works, this will greatly reduce my workloads and should help keep me from burning out. That should help me keep running this to it's completion. I'll post initiatives, and have the monsters combat stats in a spoiler tag, roll up your post and check it against it and you can add plenty of flavor for your actions. Should make things run a bit more smoothly for combat, if you don't post in 24 hours the next person should post and your delayed until you post again.

If you use an attack/spell/ability that requires a save roll it for them using the stats in the spoiler, and feel free to flavor the results. Good luck and have fun everyone.

Following up on what I posted in-game... Another option would be to make a mad dash for the spellcaster and take them out before they have a chance to do any more disruptive magic. They can't have that much hp.

Unfortunately unless Tess comes running down with her CLW potions (if she has any left, I haven't been keeping track) then you're going to be your own source of healing. At level 2 you have more spells per day, right?

At level 2 I have 3 (including the bonus one for high wis) but if we are using lvl1 spells then I have 2 and one was used already. So 1 left.
