Couple quick questions
1) How does a charging creature get to make a full attack?
2)Shouldn't the warrior's three's attacks resolve first since they were waiting for the lowest of the three initiatives but still higher than the giant's
1) The giant was not charging in the game rules sense of the word. I used "charge" and "rush" as a way to describe his walk.
2) Their attacks will resolve before the giant's, but they do not have a chance of killing him in the first round, so I posted his attacks when I could since my internet is kinda buggy today and yesterday.

I was wondering about this exact stuff myself. Good to know, thanks.

Well, his second attack missed so it's a bit moot, but I think Mikka's right. Unless the giant has some strange means of getting a second attack after moving, it shouldn't have gotten it.
By the way, unless otherwise stated, the SOP for the Phalanx is going to be to delay action until the initiative of the lowest of the three, and then all act simultaneously.

You mean when attacking with the shield?
Yeah. Well, when attacking with another weapon and wielding the shield anyway. Normally, tower shields give you a -2 attack penalty. Ours are not normal tower shields, so I was asking if the penalty still applies.

I'd say it probably would. Lighter it may be, but it's still more or less a door you're holding in one hand. It gets in the way. Still, Nightflier's call.

Having used a riot shield in a few occasions, I can honestly say that it really doesn't get in your way at all. Actually, it makes hitting your target easier because you can use it to set up your target, (this is referred to as "blocking open") and don't have to worry nearly so much about your own safety.
I can see it if it weighed 50 pounds, but ours don't. They're closer to Plexiglass than anything else.

Nightflier says:"I am posting this from my phone, so I'll be short. My provider promised me that I'll get full internet access back first thing Monday morning, so I'll resume all of my games then. I would be very grateful if someone could repost this to my other game threads. "

Guys, I've been trying to put this off as long as I could, but now I have no choice: The company I work for let go a half of it's people yesterday. I was not one of them, but this move means that my job got a lot harder. I'll have to work longer hours - even longer than I've been so far - and that means 12 hour work days, essentially. I'll most certainly not be able to run pbps, so I have decided to put all of my games, except Midnight, on pause. I really can't say at the moment how long the pause will last, but it seems that it will last for two months at least. I fully plan to return to this and other games I've been running or preparing.
I am truly sorry for inconveniencing you all. This economy has been a b@!@! so far and I really have to work more in order to keep my job. I really hate when RL interferes with my gaming, but there it is. I do hope that you understand and that you'll return to the game when I once again have the time to run it.
Thank you all.

Don't worry about it, these things happen. I hope me and the guys are paying proper attention when you do come back to it, I'd love to run these characters some more.
