Glad to see the torch getting so much love.
I wasn't sure at first, but I think I like the fact it is a one-shot.
Unfortunately, I'm finding myself biased against elemental type items.
The Migrus I love. It’s a rules abomination, but on concept, it is unbeatable.
I'd love to see a "people's choice" winner.

Glad to see the torch getting so much love. Wolf and I had to fight to get it in the top 32. Erik was resistant. :) If he hadnt agreed, I would have golden ticketed it.
I hate the torch.
Clearly none of the folks out there that love it are DMs and have had to deal with Ghost Trap on a regular basis.

I think these are my favorites, each has flaws, but can be smoothed out for my own game with a small amount of work.
My Top 5 -
Talisman of Whispering Souls
Deadstring Shears
Cloak of Rian's Mercy
Leash of the Shadowhound
Seer's Tea
My Honorable Mentions -
Bodyguard's Vest
Shroud of Old Souls
Thieves Cowl

No order but these guys have my early interest in the country design:
Charts of the Shadow Voyage
Shroud of Old Souls
Seer's Tea
Talisman of Whispering Souls
I think this thread could anticipate a lot because bias should have a predictable effect upon the next round. I doubt many people will do much mroe than skim the 32k words coming up, and who you like now will determine who you read more intently to some degree.

Although I am not thrilled with the names of either I like...
1. Greaves of the Monkey (feet for hands - awsome!)
2. Arcane Anvil (while I typically like things a bit more mundane this could help solve some issues in campagins that are a bit too contirved)
*Paper-Folding Instructions of Mo are a cool idea but i don't like the fact that the folded animals are just spells. If they did something more creative (an I don't know what off the top of my head) I would like it more.

I can't pick myself, can I?
Barring myself (You'll just have to guess where I'd rank myself in the 32, and no, it's not first), these are my favorites, in no particular order:
Phial of Ebon Flame
Figurine of Shielding
Elemental Quiver
Blindspot Orb
Chiurgeon's Chest
(Ok, so it was alphabetical order by Author.)

Four of my five favourites, in no particular order:
Migrus Locker
Charts Of The Shadow Voyage
Torch Of Solidity
Shroud Of Old Souls
But the one I have to say I'm most impressed by is the Beacon Of Hope. I like the name, I like its application in the game, I like the way it was presented... I haven't found anything about it not to like. In fact, next rogue-type I play is probably going to try and acquire one.
Honourable mentions include the Vial of Ebon Fire, Greaves Of The Monkey, Arcane Anvil and the Paper Folding Instructions Of Master Mo.

In decending order
5. Thief's Cowl. I love the benefit, and the drawback.
4. Chiurgeon's Chest. I love pseudo-scientific items, and it's something I could see an expert using. Plus it fits into Lamordia, which isn't a normal Realm.
3. Leash of the Shadow hound. Powerful item with a 'use at your own risk' flavour.
2. Migrus Locker. Creepy flavour and I don't find it that mechanically difficult. My players would hate it.
1. Seer's Tea a cheap one shot item that never loses its oomph. Also flavourful. (in all senses of the word)

These are my three favorites:
Blindspot Orb
Talisman of Whispering Souls
Torch of Solidity
I really wanted to like the elemental items (I am a big fan of elemental-themed magic), but each had something lacking, some facet I didn't agree with. The Malleus Malleficarum is intriguing also, but a little too gimmicky. The Migrus Locker sounds cool and creepy, but I just keep thinking, "But what can I really DO with a creepy construct cat?". I felt the weakest items were the Orb of Oceans and Tinnil's Stirring Rod; both are just a bit too *meh* to me. Again, congrats to all 32, and I look forward to the remaining rounds!

Hmmm... favorites
1. Charts of the Shadow Voyage
2. Beacon of Hope
3. ... there were a lot I liked, but not as clear-cut as the top 2. Seer's Tea very nice. I liked the Coin Belt of Beguiling as essentially a staff that you wear but with a neat visual. I also didn't like the Crown of the Breaching Legion much at first, but the more I read the discussion thread on it the more I decided I liked it after all.
And hey, I liked my item too! Glad to see the Phial gettin some love.

Dude, the Phial is wicked slick - from the first time a PC gets his hands on one to the high level encounter where everyone in the party storms the City of Brass, belts slung low with dozens of them, this item is cool and fun.
Happy to see that further discussion makes the Crown a bit less . . . whatever it was that you didn't like about it. We'll see if the Crown can convince the masses - or, barring that, if people will still read about my country if my item can't sway the populace.
Rockstar, bro.
