This is good reason to ask why xD So yeah why do you think infinite food relic was dumb? Like is it because it would have far reaching consequences outside its intended purpose like "why would we ever trade or farm food" or such?I strongly suspect that everyone has a different answer to this question. For me, a big part of it is that Aroden is dead, and most of the lingering magics fueled by his divine energy should be either dormant or fizzling out by now (I mean, this is what happened to re-open the Worldwound, for example).
I was under the impresion the reopening of the world wound was due to outside factors

Got email about poster map being added - it only seems to have been added to the File per Chapter download (or at least, I've re-downloaded the single file version 4 times and I don't get the 8-panel map in the zip file or the pdf). I would also ask someone to check the resolution of the map download, which looks amazing zoomed out or at 100% zoom, but that's probably the best resolution to view it at, which makes it less useful for looking at small areas (such as individual districts, let alone individual blocks).

We're looking into this and will likely update the file next week when we get back to the office (metaphorically speaking...).

(I'm seriously, I hear multiple people ask about them but I've never really learned what was the dumb part or really what they were about besides siege food. )
Yeah that was the aspect I was glad to hear would be gone once I learned what they did. It strikes me as a very Willy Wonka-esque style of city governance, only with cornucopias and murder instead of golden tickets and attempted murder.

Hello, I’m just wondering why isn’t the PDF available for purchase? I had thought it would come up after the street release date but no such luck

Quite, including good art of him.
Has a half-Orc sorcerer (people think the other half is Gnome due to her personality and height) bodyguard named Metzien, everyone is sure something more than a professional relationship is going on there.

I personally think that book's commitment to previously established lore is probably main reason we didn't get more minotaur stuff in the book. Like I think if there was bit more creative freedom to go wild, we could have gotten something like that, but that is probably just my personal bias (and I'm saying that as someone who does like the book). I don't really have good established track record of guessing these kind of things correctly x'D

In that regard, The Grand Bazaar is a better Absalom book than the Absalom book.
Oof x'D Grand Bazaar has definitely lot more Gonzo energy than this book yeah.
Like... I think one thing I should have put to my review(but don't really want to make it even longer) is that basically this book can be described as "If you read Absalom wikipedia article, do you want to learn more? If yes, get it, if not, then getting it likely doesn't change your mind"
There are lot of weird aspects to Absalom due to it having architecture inspired by Avistan, Garund, Casmaron AND Tian Xia, but overall book is more fleshing out "What does it mean to be 'City in the center of the world'" and making Absalom's metropolitan aspect much more obvious and visible. So there isn't really "Here is new mind blowing fun lore" aspect to the book, though it does have fun NPCs and locations such as petshop gnome owner with very exotic pets such as owlbears and such.

LOACLO and LOGB are like travel guides about South Africa, except the first one is aimed at uncle Tinus and aunt Elspeth who moved out in 1989 and the second one is aimed at a bunch of Gen Z Europeans who want to eat some local food, get laid and buy an intelligent robotic poppet from a skull-faced dealer in a shady alley of Pretoria.

Weird how, like incongruent hybrids of styles or buildings in one style right next to another from another style?

Yep. It became chic to build it in Castrovelian interplanetary fashion for a while shortly after the elves returned using them as architects.

It was Absalom's 60's phase. The Rolling Boulders bards were making a killing too...

I bought this book during the sales glitch and it vanished from the downloads shortly thereafter (which is absolutely fine) but it still isn't showing and now I was wondering if I do get a refund or if the download will appear again.
I think you should check with Customer Service. They are, and always have been, the greatest.

I *think* it won’t show up again until the 22nd, release date. If not, then contact CS, certainly.
