Thanks a lot for GMing! I would love to join. :-D I have several level 1-2 characters that I could play with depending on the party composition.

Wow! Yes! A long time ago that I GMed that. And remember this run of yours? And I honestly have also never touched a 2E game. Too old for change or maybe just too invested in 1E. ;-)
   Hello GM Wolf,
Do you have any plans on how to incorporate a new character so that I can include that in the background story? Her build would be a ranged bow Magus to satisfy the party needs for archery and arcane support. I saw in the recruitment that for 7th level characters you have 15000 gp starting funds with 8000 maximum per item. Does that change with me starting at 8th level? Thanks!
Thanks GM! After two years of RPG absence I’m glad to cope with one class to be honest so Gestalt can wait a long, long time. Stat rolls as requested here: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 3, 5) = 23 16
I’ll put something together asap for your review GM Wolf. Thanks
Dear all, I very much hope that you are all well. I had an exchange with GM Wolf and Chyrone about the great game that you have built together, and I expressed my interest to join your adventure. I am grateful to GM Wolf for providing me the opportunity to talk to you to see what would be a good fit for your party. I was advised to prepare options:
Maybe you could provide some guidance so that I can think about it? Thanks for your consideration. Best,

Wow!! Kudos to you!! That’s crazy and great that you’re holding on to PF1 as it really is a system that I personally enjoy a lot!!

Hey!! Super sad! :-( Loved our games together.
   Hi everyone,
Just came back from a long Pathfinder break of more than two years. Actually tried to join a pbp Gameday game in March but had not realized that it’s a Core game so it didn’t happen. Just wanted to know if Pathfinder 1st edition games are still being played at all on these forums? I saw that the Recruitment page is quite empty. Have a great week! Best,

Maybe it would be possible to choose more of their existing alternate racial traits on top? I think the Genasi are also quite different in abilities as they can have different heritages so 4 rp flexibility would allow a little more creativity. :-) But I really like your thinking around creating races equal in power level. Thanks
Thanks Philo, noral | Usgar | Shifter Bloodrager | Amnesiac Shifter following the Traveler that seeks adventure to jumpstart his memory Hello GM, due to the fact that I am not really well versed with the campaign setting, I thought that it is reasonable to assume that my character, Usgar, was hit by a magical force during a storm that somehow erased his memory. This way I can genuinely learn about the campaign setting together with the other characters during the development of our adventures. Character background : Usgar lived in the Eldeen Reaches and was part of a small shifter community of Gorebrutes, those shifters which are loud and aggressive even for their kind. These shifters even are more likely to threaten violence than most other shifter individuals … maybe that is because of their connection to the Wereboars of the past. Nobody knows what exactly caused the incident, but the amnesia that Usgar suffered from the magical force that hit him, gave Usgar the powers associated with his bloodline and forced him to leave his home in the Eldeen Reaches because he had to escape the unbearable environment where everyone believed to know Usgar although he did not know himself anymore. Usgar still feels an anger inside of him because the loss of his memories and that is sometimes hard to control but that is also paired with an uncontrollable lust to travel and seek something beyond his reach. But Usgar also was clearly advised that beyond his community he has to control himself because the past crusade of the silver flame makes it especially important for him to not constantly escalate situations so that that those that are still feeling uneasy among shifters don’t continue the prosecution of his race instead of chasing real lycanthropes. He has now recently left his home and although he has no clue about religion, something inside of him feels that the Traveler is pushing him onwards … where to l he does not know but he remains ready for the journey yet to come!
Thanks! I am reading more about shifters in Eberron to create a background. ;) I hope the character below is ok? Thanks for the reply! You are absolutely right. For me the most important thing is that we all have fun! Being in a play by post game means that I had the opportunity to look into the history of your characters and that I of course have assessed for myself if this is a group that I would like to play in and the answer is definitely yes! :-) I have a long history in the play by post community and I have played many different characters from lawful good paladins to chaotic evil anti-paladins and all alignments in between. If you like then you can just randomly choose a character of mine in my aliases and see how I roleplay. I currently mostly play PFS and more and more for me the main problem of PFS is that it is hard to build a relationship between characters because after each scenario everything changes! A common history is important to really get into the setting and to connect to the other characters so that we somehow shape the campaign based on our individual characteristics and decisions. That’s why I would like to join this group! I hope this helps to understand me better. ;-D ~ In terms of character creation I really tried to build a character in almost every class and almost every race to just see what I like and I have to admit that I a very much favor the plane touched races as well as dwarves and Kitsune. :-D I have no idea why … I assume that’s taste?
   Hello everyone,
I completely understand the reservations that were stated and I really think that you’re a great group. I understand from Khamul’s post that you need 1) healing, 2) knowledge/face and 3) support spells. This for me translates to an Oracle with the Lore mystery who can:
~ I did not know if you want me to post a potential background/personality already as the role/mechanics seemed to be important to you. ~ In case you have any suggestions or remarks then I’m of course super open for that. ;-) ~ Stat roll in case the concept is ok : stat roll : 4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 5) = 13 12

   Thanks everyone!! Clebsch RoW wrote:
Perfect GM, I will start to build the character profile based on the monster stat format! GM: Thanks again GM! So I will assume as you outlined that Seke came into the maiden with other adventurers and that this group got captured by the hags and her servants, one of whom is supposed to be protecting the complex but where Seke has noticed that they have ulterior motives of a political nature with the main warden although Seke does not know what exactly. Seke is as you outlined the last surviving member of the adventuring group as some of her companions were slain in the initial combat with the hags and others became victims of the hag's cruel passions for torturing and then eating their captives. Seke is truly exhausted and a little bit traumatized. She does not know why she is still alive but she assumes that she is either the last to be eaten or perhaps is being kept alive for some other reason. I hope I summarized it ok?

Thanks again for the patience! ;-) Please see below in the spoiler thoughts and answers to your questions and suggestions! GM: So the character's name is Seke Tiiz and she is a female Wayang. Here is her char sheet for your reference. I just took that out of my binder and scanned it. But more important are the answers to your questions: GM wrote:
Thanks for this explanation. Based on the backstory of Seke that I had detailed earlier the main motivation is the devotion to Baba Yaga and the Black Rider who had a strong influence on Seke during her youth and who she believes will explain to her the source of her powers and can be the mentors that she never had. GM wrote:
That is great! Because also Seke's story evolved in a similar way: She entered Irrisen through a gate that was opened by the cold Rider that strangely was fierce Tengu. The cold rider somehow also changed the group and gave them the mission to open a gate to a cold place from a white witch’s tower to a place where Baba Yaga had a secret weapon stored and bring that weapon back to the cold rider so that we can together free the hut of Baba Yaga. Later one of the other players felt how the cold rider actually died. (Short excursus: I was wondering all the time why the cold rider was a Tengu and did some research and found this reference "The White Rider for Queen Urvalane appeared as a snowyfeathered tengu, wielding an oversized scythe as if it were as light as a child’s toy. Accounts from the time tell that this Rider trilled a lovely, mesmerizing song as it gleefully lopped off the heads of those deemed lacking." and that is exactly how rider was described in the story Seke was in.) GM wrote:
That also fits perfectly! I am repeating for a moment what I wrote earlier what happened to Seke after the group was in Irrisen: "[...] I think that our PCs allied with a group of humans that also worked for Baba Yaga. We followed the plan to open a gate to a frosty place outside of Irrisen and we had to invade a tower of the white witches but when we arrived the tower had already been attacked and we entered nonetheless and fought the decimated guards. We found out that a magical gate was just closed and all our PCs home locations were connected to Irrisen via magical lines and that this is also a connection for the PCs.We then opened another gate via a ritual to this cold place outside of Irrisen and stepped through with these humans … that’s more or less where we stopped the campaign." So this last gate that we opened could have led exactly to "the Maiden section of Atrosa" and that this area was created by Baba Yaga fits perfectly because we were guided by followers of Baba Yaga to open the gate. I very much like your option "Or the character could be a devoted servant of Baba Yaga who serves willingly and would therefore be willing to join the PCs in their quest to locate her." because is exactly what has been driving Seke continuously ... to find Baba Yaga and learn from her who and what she actually is! GM wrote:
These are all very good options in case I would bring in a new character. If Seke would be allowed then the option to be a servant to Baba Yaga in Atrosa is the preferred option for me! ;-) ~ I hope this helps! Just tell me what you think is the best option and I will immediately either create a new character with the "hags" background idea you outlined or level up Seke to continue her path to find Baba Yaga in the story. Have a great weekend everyone!!
