This is my first choice character. I have to level her up to 8, so if everyone wants to start right away, I would instead bring my druid who is level 6.

I'm not in a hurry to start, so level Claudia and play who you want, Redalia.
As I see it, we're either high tier with the 4-player adjustment, or we could just go low tier.

If I bring my gunslinger 6 (and we don't really have a ranged specialist), that puts us at 6.5 APL with a party that only has one character actually in the high tier (Claudia). With that composition, I'd vote to round down to 6 and play low tier.
But if I bring my oracle (and I'm inclined to since I'm not seeing much CHA in the group as it stands), that puts us at 6.66. Rounds to 7, and thus high tier with the 4-party adjustment.
Note, she's a dhamphir necromancy enchantress. Not a healer, though she'll wave your own wand at you if you're hurt.
So, is everyone okay with that party composition and tier, assuming I bring Lady Vanessa?

Tabar, please don't take anything personally. Aiden is a cruel, but very intelligent, thug. He's caught in Zarta's influence though, so he won't do anything to reflect badly on her. Whether he adores her or is terrified of her, it's not quite clear. Anything concepts more grand than that don't register with him.

FWIW, it's "Ietsuna" with a capital I, not an L. I ran a table at an in-person con in 2019, and he told me there that he got it from Tokugawa Ietsuna, one of the Shoguns of Japan in the Edo period. He told me why he picked that one, but I forget.

I think we should if we want to continue. It's a shame though if this game just fizzles out. I was really enjoying the RP. His last post as a GM was on the 25th Sep. Has anyone PMed him recently?

I'm enjoying the RP, obviously. But I'm also burning a Replay to do this first scenario with the understanding that we were going to continue through the trilogy. I don't want to get a replacement GM just to get us through Book 1 and end up burning a Replay for nothing. They have to commit to "going all the way" with Lady Vanessa ;)

I think I'm with Vanessa. As early as we are in the series and scenario, I would probably just drop unless there is a strong guarantee of running all three.

I got a sanity check from another VO, and we are indeed early enough that we can just drop, if that's what the group wants. It would be sad, because the roleplay has been good, but we've not even finished one combat and started in July.
I think I would also lean towards ending this, unless someone will run the entire trilogy.
