Toulbe had been lackluster perhaps a little melancholy the entire ride to the Vault. He only seemed to perk up again, once there was a talk of a feast. He seemed almost giddy at that point and clambered into the kitchens with the other workers. "Ooooh, let me help. I've missed a proper kitchen. I bet with some of the wyvern meat and other things we found, we could make something unique and delicious!" he said overtly excited. While he was there, he began grilling all the dwarves working there on the various properties that barrels had on the flavor of ales and liquors, as well as what spices were typically used. He would begin writing in a small journal all that they had to offer, quickly drumming up an ingredients list that he'd need to keep the dwarven train going. After all, Dwarves needed it to function! As they worked in the kitchens, Toulbe veritably danced about doing his work always slipping just right around the dwarves to help out when they needed something.

Toulbe looks at the rabbit's foot and scratches his head. He had heard these were lucky...but he'd also heard of a Chelaxian baron who would keep Halfling feet for the same reason and somehow losing a limb doesn't seem to lucky to him. Still, who was he to twist the god's favor for such a possible blessing. He'd get a bit of leather strips later off of some dinner and see about making a necklace. He looked at the intestines. It'd be smarter to use the intestines to lure in some potential predator for more meat but then again the coyotes deserved a good meal as well. He scratched his head a bit, before setting aside a pound of meat and the intestines for the pups before getting to work on the stew. He gave critters what all he could before rendering down all the fat and cooking the meat with an extra helping of veggies to make up for the missing pound of meat. He set aside the other items in his wagon for the time being and back to the group in time to hear about their next objective. Shaking with nerves and excitement Toulbe rang the dinner bell. "Soup's on. Sadly, not much in the way for breakfast but we'll scrounge up what we can and maybe we'll have dragon for dinner![/b]" he said excitedly.

Handle Animal (Guard Trick) DC 20: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Since he has a bit a down time with the dwarves taking a holiday, Toulbe splits his time between making everyday meals for the large group, checking to see if the wolves are back, and teaching good ol Bistro his final trick. He was always surprised by how smart the creature was, learning to take on combat situations, figuring out how to watch over and area, now it was time to put the two actions together and teach him how to guard a spot from outsiders during its watch, not just alert when something shows up. This would give his group more time to get ready to face a challenge or to make sure bandits don't sneak off with everything while they are handling something else!

Venice by Night - Sunday March 30, 1309 House Khadaji - Vitaliano Da Riva & Alessandro Khadaji Vitaliano smiled until the questions started coming in. It was frustrating that he had no true answers but it seems that he may have created two more allies this evening which spells fortune for the future. His pointer finger begins to tap on the table out on the balcony. "It's aggravating that so soon into our alliance that I show myself useless to you. Even if it's temporary, I do not like to be useless." he said, his anger boiling over a bit. He bit his lip and managed to get his emotions back under control. He took a deep breath and then let it out before continuing to speak "A funny thing, breathing. I suspect I don't need to do so anymore but it still has a calming effect. I imagine that is just our mind playing tricks on ourselves." he said going off topic again for a moment. He seemed to notice that he was diverting and swept a bit of hair back behind his ear "Apologies, rambling once again. I do not know a Volkov but I imagine that I can find them soon enough. I find myself capable of getting things out of people they don't mean to offer and slip past prying eyes with ease. So information gathering is a specialty of mine." he said smiling coyly. "It's a shame but I could not pry from the Fey it's reasons for it's desire to trick the one handed man. They unfortunately had me completely under their thumb." he offered. "I do not know much of what a Ghoul is...but I am certain I was never one. I was about to become food for the Nosferatu but I had delved into the Occult heavily before I was found. I knew enough to know that my position as a Dr would be valuable to them as I could get access to all the blood they would need without them having to find and possibly expose themselves. I took a chance and luck would have it, I found a fantastic venture to increase my profits." he said grinning devilishly.

(Urist I assume you default yours to your Spirit since she's the attacker?) That eats up 6 of the eight. I would lean giving the other two points to Goggeck and Hezekh So they'll get a 1/24hr +2 Moral bonus and everyone else gets a 1/24hr +1 Moral Bonus. And Toulbe will receive NOTHING!!! With much sadness, I must once again open the recruitment thread for my campaign. I still have three strong players interested in continuing the game. I am looking to replace one player whom IRL has unfortunately consumed them. That said, this is a pretty dedicated game (though we've slowed down a little understandably do to the time of year.) I am looking for a player that can typically do a 1/day and 1/weekend posting rate. This game uses Discord to help keep the flow of information and conversation between GM and players as open as possible. That all said, to those who wish to apply...here is the link to the original recruitment thread. We are needing a 3rd level character at this point and your character should be a known criminal. I will be conferring with my players on final decision of who to accept. If you have applied before, please apply with a set of rolls for your character (If you are looking to re-apply with the character you submitted before.) The recruitment thread is here Original Recruitment Thread Feel free to read over the gameplay thread to see how the group has ran up till now ^_^. Recruitment will hopefully last about 2 weeks, I will try to check in for any questions as often as possible.

I worried about large amounts of spiders swarming about in this danke caves but I suppose a swarm of goblins is very similar and perhaps even more problematic. I'm not the greatest thrower, but I am sure between me and a few others...we could damage quite a few of them and perhaps cower them!" he said as he opened the bag to produce a mixture of colorful glowing flasks. Inside the bag was nine flasks of varying colors. Three green acid flasks, three boiling red Alchemist's fires, two cold blue liquid ice, and one bright white bottle of holy water. I just wanna point out, that Pony is like MVP. I can almost never say that about random insert x Summon Monster.
Godfrey slips in front of one coffin, turns his blade downwards and slams it into the open hole of one coffin. He starts to pull the blade free as the undead grabs ahold of his arm. The force of attempting to pull his blade free causes the Draugr to burst through the lid. It lets go of the blade and grabs the lip of the coffin, righting itself. It stands up and grabs its Great axe in hand and pulls it overhead. Just before it prepares to drop the axe down upon the human. He quickly adjusts his and slices upwards, cutting the creature stem to sternum. The life fades from it's eyes and the muscles freeze. Slowly the heavy blade of the axe causes the body to fall backwards with a crash back into it's coffin. Down in the opposite corner, Kaellan with the expert instruction of Ileosa and the moral support of his sister, Senara, claws aggressively at the hand that burst free from the coffin. The first heavy clawed hand misses the flailing appendage, sending large chunks of old and decrepit wood flying. The second shears the arm clean off. The Draugr seems completely undeterred by it as it sits up. Kaellan, sensing an opening, flashes the claws of his right hand up and rips the esophagus clean off. The head lols for a second before the sinew and vertebrae only held together by the curse of death give way and the head rolls free. The creature, frozen in it's one arm seated position. The party looks around, while not perhaps the most deadly, this was the most active room they'd been in. Silas slumps against the wall, holding onto the meet of his collar where the Axe head found purchase. Triss looks between everyone and nods before grabbing the unholy symbol from it's chain and a deep red wave of light flows forth from her bathing the group in it's "flame". Channel Pos: 1d6 ⇒ 6 Seeing that the energy did more than enough, she nods to the group and leans against the wall acting smugly from the door from whence they appeared. After a quick look around the room, the party is certain there is nothing of value or secrecy in the room. There are two doors leading out of this chamber, one to the West and one to the East.
Ella can't use acrobatics to get past them since she has medium armor on and now is sitting at 18 hit points due to getting eaten again, so she'll stand where she is and attack.
K(Arcana) to identify snakes: 1d20 + 8 = 14 Godfrey looks on from further back in the party in frustration. The bottleneck that the snakes had pinned them into was effective in leaving him helpless to contribute. With little else to do, he stands in place and being riffling through his scroll box. With a satisfied smirk, he pulls a scroll from the box and begins to read from the scroll in a monotone. As his chanting reaches a crescendo, a translucent arrow springs into being a few feet above his head. With a casual flick of wrist, the arrow unerringly seeks a snake to bury itself in.
"There'll be no mighty left standing if we let those snakes whittle us down one by one. We have to do something!" Empowered by Senara's protective enchantment and spurred on by her mental urging, Kaellan sets his jaw before barrelling through the blockade to brave the viper's nest beyond. But rather than stop to attack once inside the room, Kaellan moves further and further inside, intending to draw the constructs away from the door by offering himself as a better target so that his associates may enter freely. Assuming Kaellan was about fourth or fifth in line at the door, he'll make a double move to get toward the back corner of the snake room. Senara watches somewhat fretfully as Ella stands her ground rather than back down when the mithral snakes spring their attack. The robust woman is likely the mightiest one of their group—at least in terms of physicality. If she fell during this lesson then it would undoubtedly bode ill for the rest of them. "There'll be no mighty left standing if we let those snakes whittle us down one by one. We have to do something!" the conjuress psychically communicates to Kaellan, hoping the former military officer would think of some strategy they might use. But she isn't expecting her brother to utilize brute force to get past the metallic vipers and into the room. "Kaellan, be careful! That room hasn't been searched for traps, mind!" Senara waits to see if the contraptions fall for her brother's ploy, one hand at the ready to summon another gout of acid should either of the snakes get clear of Ella. Readying an acid splash if either of the snakes move out of melee with Ella. Silas was near the front but he should have made more of an effort to swap positions to the front before they opened the door. It had been poor planning and now they were in a tactically difficult situation. There weren’t many truly good options for how to proceed. Watching Kaellen move through them he decided that he would risk it and attempt to get behind their foes. Attempting to contort and twist himself around his allies and the enemies before them he would see if he could move himself carefully enough to avoid being attacked. Once he had one of them flanked with his allies though he wasn’t going to keep moving into the room, he would strike out and see if he could do some damage to these things. Acrobatics: Rolling 1d20+6 = (18)+6 = 24
With the snakes advanced, the room quickly begins to whirl with action. Ileosa lobs acid at the snakes but misses as she makes sure not to hit her allies. Senara sizes up the situation, a bit of arcane energy boiling in her hand as she waits for an opportunity to rise. Kaellan sprints through the opening, squeezing past Ella, his body twisting carefully out of the way of the biting snakes. Ella swings wide with her first clawed hand and as she brings the other one in,the snake leans just barely enough for her claws to scrap just off the metal letting out an ear piercing squeal. Silas times his jump with the snake's dodge, flipping and landing behind one of the and slashes wildly at it. The snakes hiss in response and one turns to snap at Silas while the other snaps at Ella again. Both miss wildly. However, it's Godfrey that makes the first strike upon their foes. Three small holes punch through one of the snakes but it doesn't appear to notice it's been hurt.(edited) Silas and Kaellan sliding past her makes Ella realize she's plugging up the works. All her talk of group tactics she spouted just a few days ago, had been lost in her typical haze of anger. Anger had its place, and she wasn't about to drop it at the moment, but without thinking she and her allies would be corpses... dimly she wondering if mithril snakes would use their corpses to lay their eggs in...
Dropping the now charred and blackened scroll with a dismissive flick of his wrist, Godfrey takes advantage of the cleared path to charge up to join the fight. He charges sword first and as he reaches the coiled serpent he pivots to spin his blade in a deadly glittering arc. 2h Attack with sword: 18
Kaellan turns back to the melee at the entrance of the room with a slight frown. His scheme hadn't gone quite like how he'd planned it but enough of his allies had managed to make it past the snakes that it hadn't been a completely wasted effort. Doubling back along the southern wall, Kaellan maneuvers around the mithral snake to flank it with Ella, once more risking the construct's ire as he moves into a more advantageous position. Claw (Flanking, Inspire Courage, Power Attack)
Acid Splash (Ranged Touch - Inspire Courage, Into Melee)

He pulled an arrow out of his quiver as if to knotch it and twirled it slightly in his fingers before jamming it up into his chin and hopefully into his skull. Chaotic good people can and have (Or at least I have) Threatened innocents in the past in order to scare them away from trouble/danger. A paladin would have to smite said CG person for this and personally I find that RUDE or lose their powers. At least if we are being literalists who demand the most out of a Paladin's code. I saw Tyrant and I'm glad that that was made an Archetype to drag Anti-paladin away from the position of CE...I just never felt that was right unless there was an archetype that allowed paladins to be beacons for the greater good IE CG and just be people who embody their gods tenets and not the "paladin code" (I see a Paladin still attempting to believe his god could never truly die and that their ideals and code should still be honored...but that's my interpretation of the class.) It's true that we don't have to get along necessarily, but I feel that given that Skinwalkers don't exist outside their respective bloodlines (They don't just happen as some divine accident or fiendish accident....they have to have a Skinwalker parent to receive the 'curse') and that they are fairly tight nit communities that don't let people just walk away and start their own community....that we grew up thinking that abandoning others for our goals in life is something not to be scorned...but that if you want to have a family that gets along and doesn't leave the other to die...they should have somewhat of a common goal even if it varies just ever so slightly.

So I will over time put a rank in each knowledge but my focus will be Nobility and Religion. I wouldn't say we shouldn't overlap but definitely we might talk a bit in time in character about what we might specialize in knowledge wise. We could of course say such here now so we can kinda map in our heads a good web.

However when the blade appeared, his grin disappeared and his teeth showed as he stood up with some difficulty and came up behind Kara with all the grace and stealth of a rancor in a forest. His clawed hand reaching over and enclosing over Kara's blade hand. He snorts "Fighting is fine to get your point across, but blades are reserved for enemies. If you're gonna fight do it with your claws like the Echani, go get in your workout gear and speak to each other proper." he said standing over them, blood dripping from a wound or two emphasizing the point he was trying to make.

A mobility service dog with training in PTSD and retrieval. She'll be trained to help me get up if I fall, steady me if I stumble, secure the area to make me feel safe and typically place herself between me and anyone I don't flag and pick up stuff I drop to help out with my lower back and leg issue. So all in all, she should be able to handle all my big issues.

Thrask snorts and stares down at Djebelle sizing her up for probably the uptenth time since the group has been together. His jaw clenches as he looks at the tiny female then up at the building then back at her. A long low hiss leaks out before he finally says something. "I charge extra for waiting, and even more for running after someone...you better be able to pay up" he said staring her down.

Rahiv winces as he is hugged and he looks around for the zombie to see it dissected upon the floor nearby. "I think...when we are done with this Spire, I need to get a life. I swear, I saw mine flash before my eyes...and it was very boring. When we head out of here next time, I think I wish to find a body of water to calm my nerves." he said as he put a weak arm around Voyla to give her a bit of a hug back. Once given some space, he will get himself back up off the ground slowly "I fear, I may fall for that trick a few more times in my life....hopefully it won't be the end of me." he said as he stretched a bit to make sure everything was still in working order. "Thank you all for the quick save...I think it was quick, not sure how long it was when I passed out."
