Star Wars: Chronicles is a Star Wars RPG campaign using the Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion/Force and Destiny rules from Fantasy Flight Games (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/#/universe/star-wars).

The concept of this campaign is episodic (taking place after the Battle of Yavin, during the time of the Episode 4-6 movies), similar to the style of the Star Wars: Rebels television series. The characters will be making a living for themselves any way they can as well as taking the odd job from the Rebel Alliance to further the aims of the Rebellion.

Djebelle keeps running, no breath left now even for talking. She's aware that she's in some sort of race back to the ship; one that she can't afford to lose.

Athletics check (0 Success, 0 Advantage)

She risks a glance at the monstrous shapes running down the cliff and towards the ship: they are faster than she is. She redoubles her efforts, purple hair slick with perspiration, blood pounding in her ears, breath coming now in ragged gasps.

Thrask stands there waiting, preparing his blade for when the monster is within range.

Will take the two strain to intercept the big guy for a double move if it gets within medium range of him.

Swift Double Slice

Thrask charges in to greet the monster with his Rykk blade braced against his chest. He slams it into the monster before using all his strength to turn so the blade slices across and free. His left arm bringing the Vibrosword down to bear as he does so to tear another cut into it's hide.

Using the one advantage to activate the other blade from the paired quality. Crap forgot to roll the two bonus dice for the Accurate trait of the Vibrosword.

Accurate 2

Use the 3 advantage to crit then with the Rykk blade cause it just sounds cooler how I drew it up in my head and typed out. So that is 7 base for each + 4 success + 2 Feral Strength= 13 damage from each, Pierce 2 on the vibrosword.
Crit+Lethal Blows 1: 1d100 + 10 ⇒ (75) + 10 = 85 Crit should be Winded on the Crit table unless it has something to adjust the crit rating or the gm needs to upgrade a dice or the like and the crit gets canceled

Chuckling, Juviest stares towards the close combat curl of the two fighting humanoids. "Well, well. Say something snarky, so I can tell you apart, Trandoshan!"

Shooting at the big beast. 6S, so no double fire, one hit for 18. I added an extra difficulty die to avoid hitting our friend.

Juviest raises his right pistol towards the monster's head, putting the other behind his back and standing in a duelist's stance. Closing one eye, he lets out a shot, which lands straight into the creature's head.Well, well. Corellians got it half right, it seems.

yes that was a tough one, It is hard to find riddles that are not overly easy or have nothing to do with the future. using her skills and or reaching out to force were what I was hoping you would do.
The final led lights green and a compartment opens below the terminal. Inside lays a ilum crystal wrapped in soft leather.

everyone but aneira:
The beast leaps into the air as it closes on the party. Lt's blaster strikes the creatures flesh seeming doing little damage but the creature winces. It lands wrapped in Thrask's grip. It rakes it's claws against Thrask as he drives his blades home causing the creature again to wince and let out a shriek. Juv hits the creature with blaster fire.
you can tell you are not doing much damage but your crits may be having an effect. Kara's crit was "Minor nick" but it adds 10 to Thrask's roll making it "At the Brink" instead of winded. Thrask you take 17 damage pre-soak, ouch
With the creature's shriek the smaller beasts pause their assault.

Thrask strained under the strike of the beast and felt his ribs crack from the blow. He pulled away and pulled back towards the ramp some to give himself a bit of room to prepare for the next strike.

He braced himself and adjusted his stance so that the vibrosword led.

6 this time so 15 each, Pierce 2 on the Vibrosword, crit with the Vibrosword.

When the beast lunges forwards again, he crouches down and shifts his weight springing up into the cuts in it's hide.

Crit: 1d100 + 40 ⇒ (19) + 40 = 59 20 for the existing two crits, 10 for the vicious quality, and 10 for the lethal blows. At least a 59 makes it's rolls a wee bit more difficult. Three difficulty dice and two setback dice now to attack me ^_^

Ah that's interesting, it just felt like the right thing to do :)

Aneira's eyes go wide in surprise as the crystal is revealed, nestled in its leather cradle. As if waking from a dream she suddenly processes all the comms traffic that has been going on, swearing under her breath as she scoops up the crystal, wrapping it back up in haste as she stuffs it in a belt pouch, running as fast as she can back the way she came out of the cave.

Aneira's voice comes over the comms

... er... not really sure what happened there... *ffffttttt-squeal*

There is a squawk of static and then the sound of booted feet hitting a gritty stone floor at speed.

*fffttt*... en route... ee tee ay... *ffffttttt* -econds...

Double maneuver

Aneira appears at the cave entrance where one glance tells her the situation with the ship and crew under assault, she swears under her breath.

"Ho, boy.", is all Juviest can mutter as he sees Thrask take the massive blow. Enough about Corellian bantha-herdery., he thinks, as he lays down a barrage of fire from both of his blasters, the smell of tibana gas filling the air around the ship. He taps his comms, putting on a smile. "We're getting to know the natives. Not the friendliest bunch.", he relays over the comms. "Think you should bring your charming personality as soon as possible. I'm stuck with Thrask as Chief Diplomat here."

5S, 1A 17 and 14 damage. Maybe I'll fire just one next time. If there is a next time.

Oh yeah, I used 2 maneuvers last turn, so that's another strain. Plus one more this round.

Djebelle continues her flat-out run, finally nearing the vicinity of the shuttle. Wiping one arm across her brow, she gulps air back into her lungs, watching as the gigantic beast mauls the alien. Kara's also been badly hurt, she notices.

Drawing on her power, she draws a dark, covering shroud over Kara and Thrask, making them both invisible to the beast.

Force Power Check 2 dark side. Nasty! Oh well, desperate times and all that

Using 1 dark side point to use Misdirect on Thrask; and the other to use it on Kara. That messes up the Destiny Pool, but what the heck.

Until the end of my next turn, the thing can't sense or detect either of them.

Djebelle, how would we know we are cloaked? Is there an obvious sign? Because you didn't say anything and I don't think our characters would used to being 'Force-cloaked'.

Kara swears as she hears Thrask's ribs crack. She edges forward, taking careful aim at the big creature's head.

Move to Short, Aim; we need to put this thing down, and despite the Destiny pool being "darkened', I'm taking one.

She let's loose with another shot, blasting away at it's tough hide.

There's one Advantage (for 1 Boost die) in there for the next person's roll.

Kara: good question. Djebelle is (as you may have noticed by now) a bit of a ditz tactically and didn't think to mention what she was doing. (Plus she's like really, really out of breath.)There's no reason you would have a sign, beyond the fact that Djebelle's expression might show she's doing something a bit "Force"-y. On the other hand, as part of our backstory Djebelle helped Kara escape the Empire, so it's possible she used this power before and Kara recognises it - I'll leave that with you.

Strictly speaking of course, you aren't cloaked - it's the beast which has been targeted so it can't perceive you at all. It can only see Juviest, who's sensibly taken cover.

And me, of course. Who forgot to say she was taking cover.

Right. So I've upped the difficulty last time arbitrarily, because Thrask was in the way. Then, I read the book, and I wrongly didn't find anything about shooting in Melee. Now, I re-re-read it, and I found the passage, where I've done it correct the first time. So, here it is, the added difficulty die, so the second hit doesn't happen, numbers wise. Barrage of blaster bolts can still happen. Sorry!

Aristi stares at the battle between Thrask and the mother monster in disbelief. There's no way he'd be able to use the ship's weapons to blast into that situation without obliterating everyone's reptilian friend.

He rushes back down the corridor to the cockpit. The crew would be wanting to leave, ASAP.

Move from gun turret to cockpit, take strain to use two maneuvers if necessary. Start prepping ship for flight.

the beast lunges forward and is caught by thrask's blades. the beast struggling now to continue its attacks lands a blow on Thrask sending my flying. ugh 16 damage pre-soak and you are prone near the landing ramp. I also used a light side destiny point on your behalf as you stand seemed to be very dramatic.

Juviest's shots ring out hitting the beast once. rolled upgraded difficulty die, take one strain from threat and the second weapon does not fire.

The creature does what seems like a double take as Djebelle concentrates on her task. you can only cloak one person until you get upgrades. take one strain back and you only use one destiny point and gain one conflict. who do you want to cloak?

the other creatures start jumping on the ship and begin tearing at anything they can.

Aneira can make it to the ship in one more round.

I'd be toast if I took one of them. He took two..., thinks Juviest, as he grits his teeth, aiming and lowering the blaster at the beast's forehead. "Force take you!", he spits out, the blaster bolt sending the creature into another howl of pain.

4S, 4A, 16 damage using 3 for crit, one for a boost to the next person. Maneuvre to aim, too.
Crit+30: 1d100 + 30 ⇒ (38) + 30 = 68

Djebelle is only able to cloak Kara briefly, and Thrask not at all. She frowns, turning her attention to the beast itself. Drawing again on the powers of fear and darkness (she knows better, she tells herself, but things are a bit desperate here) she assails the thing with negative emotions.

"There is nothing for you here but death and terror and pain. Flee! Escape to safety while you can!"

A deep shadow falls over her countenance, and her voice rises and falls, in terrible cadences.

Using the 1 Success to make the thing believe for 1 minute that it is in terrible danger and must flee for its life, never returning.

Thrask blinked as he attempted to figure out what just happened. He looked down to see a new wound that had not been there before and looked up to see the big behemoth still going.

His free hand groped around to get himself a bit of support to stand. He stood up breathing heavily and his eyes darted before settling on his vibrosword which he picked up before he limped up the ramp some.

Ouch, just quite the slam dance. Maneuver to stand, Action to grab weapon as a maneuver, and then strain to move away from the beast.

Seeing an opening from whatever Djebelle seems to be doing to te attacking creature, Aneira plants one foot in front of the other and runs faster than she's ever moved before, boots slamming the rock as they propel her slight body forwards at breakneck pace.

Rushing past the beast her blood sings as she feels the sensation of the decking under her feet once more.

We're in... we're all in... Go Aristi, punch it!

One arm encircling the ramp's support strut in a snake-like deathgrip, Aneira draws in ragged breaths as she tries to recover from her full pelt dash.

Juviest's shot hits the creature as it rears back and swings its massive bloody arm striking Juv and sending him prone. 17 damage pre soak. I flipped a destiny point to light...

Djebelle it just so happens there is one light side point for you to use to use a dark side point...

The creature suddenly rears back with a look of fear and turns to flee.
somehow it rolled zero success on 3 green dice.

Kara grabs the old Sullustan under the arms, forcing him to his feet. "Get going old man! Double time!" She follows up the ramp as it closes.

"Aristi! Get us out of here!" Kara barks as she's running for the dorsal turret. Gripping the ladder, she slides down into the gunner's seat.

"Don't need any more encouragement than that! Strap in, we're airborne!" Aristi levers the thrust for the repulsors, sending Kessel's Folly clawing for altitude. The big beast and its packmates disappear to specks as the ship shoots through the atmosphere.

Djebelle has a strange, strange smile on her face as she ghosts up the ramp and into the ship. She's tapped into something powerful and it made that thing run.

On the ship of course, the adrenaline wears off at almost exactly the same time as the smells and noise hit her senses- and the sight of her companions, bloodied and torn, barely standing. The sense of power vanishes as if it never was.

"Oh Galaxy, I'm sorry - here..." Scrabbling around in her pack, she retrieves as many stim-kits as she can find and administers as many as are safe for her friends to take.

Thrask stood at the loading ramp watching the beast escape. There was a look of sadness falling upon his face as he watched the worthy foe disappear as the loading ramp closed.

His eye twitched and the moment passed, the Scorekeeper had done well to provide a worthy adversary today and both teams had fought well. Blood was shed and some were fallen but today both teams had won in their own sense. He hissed softly and muttered under his breath "I swear upon the blood that I left on this planet that I'll return to finish this hunt." he said before turning about.

The tiny female was running about frantically trying to take care of the others and when she came to him he stared at her for a moment. "Do we have another hunt soon? If not, then I will take only the cleaning of the wounds. It is an affront to the foe we faced to so quickly heal the injuries of a worthy adversary " he said as he stood there.

He looked around at the others "Did we accomplish our mission?" he said as he looked at the old Sullustan. He had a bit of gained respect for the man as he took a blow that would've felled most and managed to stay conscious.

I'm assuming there would be a couple days rest or more given travel in the Star Wars universe. Though that really depends on the destination and the urgency of the group. Basically Thrask would prefer natural healing for as long as possible before stimming up as Trandoshans' heal unnaturally quick. I think if I remember by lore it takes three or four months to regrow an appendage.

Juviest spits out blood as he's on board, leaning on the wall. His midsection is torn through, the viscera under it showing, as he rummaged through his pockets to take his flask, raising it to everyone else first. "Thanks, LT. Owe you one.", he says, before taking a long drink. He finishes the flask, then wipes his mouth. "What? Dulls the pain. If you want some, I keep it under the sink."

"Well, Thrask, if you're going back, then you've got a pilot.", Juviest replies as Djebelle rushes in with the stim-kits. "As for the mission, we outta ask Djeb here. We finished, kid?", he asks, wincing as the medicine kicks in. "Now, if you excuse me, I gotta sit down. My knees are planning a rebelion of their own...", he says, slowly dragging himself towards the rec area, leaning on the wall for coverage.

There's no way Kara is letting those things get away without a healthy dose of lascannon love. She rotates the turret back and forth, spraying high-energy bolts around the canyon as the freighter climbs away. She doesn't care if she hits anything, she's just firing for the effect. Whether it's the effect on her or those creatures, she didn't know.

When finally the canyon drops out of sight, she climbs back up the ladder. The look on her face would stop a raging bantha. She makes directly for Djebelle and Aniera. "Did we get our little party favors?" Kara starts acidly. "The next time you go off to finish your cute little secret missions, you'll be on your own. When I call for an extract, you get your asses back or you get left...understood? This isn't some damned game. If it weren't for Juviest's blasters and that damned-fool Transdoshan, you'd all be dead!"

The Chiss woman is working herself into right proper rage. Even she doesn't know really why...could it be she actually cared about this new team of hers? Hard to say...for now she was dealing with her confused emotions the only way she knew how...angrily.

"YOU..." she barks at Thrask, "...don't have a lick of sense. That thing would've torn you apart. It basically did...and you're welcome for the stim in your backside. I wasn't going to haul you up that ramp. You could've counted your score in whatever afterworld you lizards go to."

She stalks over to Juviest and takes the offered flask. She drops to a seat on a crate and takes a long draw before handing it back to him. "No worries old man. Next time...duck"

Kara puts her elbows on her knees and sets her face in her hands. What was wrong with her? She couldn't say. They didn't deserve that chewing out. Thrask and Juviest fought hard - she'd trust them in any firefight. Aristi kept things running - they made their escape without a hitch. Aniera and Djebelle...this was important to them, that was obvious, so why the anger?

Kara didn't know...but she didn't like where the line of thought was taking her....

Djebelle is still, if not drunk with power exactly, certainly on a high she doesn't herself entirely understand. Otherwise she wouldn't say something that she knows she will later regret.

Part of her can sense that Kara's anger is a mask for concern; and she might get away with pretending, later, that she picked an argument in order to help her friend avoid facing up to that - but some other part of her relishes the anger she can sense, and wants to fuel it.

So instead of backing down with a muttered apology, she squares off to the Chiss woman, a gleam in her eyes as she does so. "Aw, hon, thanks for your concern - but it's not as if your blasters were actually doing anything, was it? I think we both know that thing only ran once I turned up and made it run."

She gives Kara her best mock-pitying look. "But don't worry, hon: it's not your fault that your technology is insignificant next to the Force..."

oooo Djebelle....you're poking the bear. Let's get all dark side, shall we?

Kara's head snaps up from where she held it in her hands. Her eyes narrow dangerously. "No...no they weren't, hun...' she stands, taking a pace forward to place her face within a breath of the purple-haired woman. "You made it run? Really? With what? Hurt feelings and chewing your hair? Did you miss the blood and guts Thrask, Juv, and I spilled keeping that ramp clear? Maybe you'd like to go back and play with your pet, eh?"

The look in Kara's eyes is murderous. Out of nowhere her combat knife appears in her hand.

"While you and Reb there were taking your good old time," she says nodding towards Aneira without taking her eyes of off Djebelle, "we were making sure your party didn't go all spoiled on you. Maybe you missed the pile of bodies? That thing wasn't alone."

With a motion too fast to follow, Kara's knife blade appears between the two women's faces. The blackened blade gleams dully in the light of the rec area. "The last person that tried the 'Force' thing on me got this in the brain, right up through the jaw." Kara smiles evilly.

"Come to think of it, was a smart-ass girl just like you..."

'....kara! what are you doing??????' But the rational side of Kara wasn't there. In her place was Lt. Kara Savyn, 3rd Imperial Commando, killing was all she knew...

Juviest lies down on the couch, carefully, trying not to disturb his new bandages. He reaches up on the table, pulling out another bottle. "Ducking, huh.", he chuckled, staring at the bottle. He puts his blasters on the table, then pours himself a drink.

And that's why I avoid working with teams. Someone's always going to start preaching..., he thinks, sniffing the alcohol. "You two harpies going to go at it much longer?", he asks, grunting unhappily. "Because if you are, I'm off to get picked in the cockpit. More of a curative atmosphere." He takes off his hat, putting it on his face. "We're all here, still kicking, and mostly wounded. We can do the... what'd your imps call it, LT, debrief tomorrow. If you're planning to start killing each other, do it quietly!" He stands up to finish his glass and start his second one. That's why I'm such a good friend with you, Admiral., he mentally says to the bottle. You're a great listener.

Thought I should help with the situation, whether by defusing it, or adding fuel to the fire. You pick.

Thrask grinned at Kara as she chastised him, the way she summed up the fight only told the tale to fittingly but it was a good fight and being a quart or two lower on blood and swimming in the adrenaline of the aftermath of a good fight always made it hard for the trandoshan to really be all that angry.

However when the blade appeared, his grin disappeared and his teeth showed as he stood up with some difficulty and came up behind Kara with all the grace and stealth of a rancor in a forest. His clawed hand reaching over and enclosing over Kara's blade hand. He snorts "Fighting is fine to get your point across, but blades are reserved for enemies. If you're gonna fight do it with your claws like the Echani, go get in your workout gear and speak to each other proper." he said standing over them, blood dripping from a wound or two emphasizing the point he was trying to make.

Thrask's point hits Kara like a bucket of cold water. Djebelle wasn't her enemy. They didn't just lay their lives on the line for her and Aneira just to kill the woman. The thought of her stabbing Djebelle, holding her slumping body as the light left her eyes, was suddenly too much for Kara. She shook her hand free from Thrask and turned away, making her way to her bunk.

"Whatever." she cast over her shoulder, not willing to give the appearance she was giving in easily. Dropping out of her laminate armor, she climbed into her bunk with her back to the crew cabin. She lay still for a long time, unaccustomed to the warm wetness that rimmed her eyes...

Thrask grinned a bit as Kara walked away. It was good to let the anger and adrenaline drop after a fine fight. He turned his attention towards the other two who had slipped away and appeared to not have any fun. He slipped his arm around Djebelle's head and secured her before grabbing up Aneria in the other arm.

He grinned at them "You two need a workout though, can't have anyone sitting out on the fun today. Get your gear and meet me in the cargo room or I'll tear your mattresses to shreds. You both could use a bit of sparring if you've got so much energy to run and spit venom at your teammates." he said with zero hint of joking about the consequences.

If Djebelle even notices the knife, she doesn't acknowledge it; her suddenly-dark gaze holds Kara's red eyes, intent and probing. As Kara talks, bragging about another kill, she sees (or thinks she sees, which is not quite the same thing) the scene play out in her own mind - and she smiles.

It's not a smile that belongs on Djebelle's face: it's contemptuous, mocking, cold - devoid of friendship and hopefulness and warmth. The tone of her voice matches it perfectly as she shakes her head. "Poor Kara. You stabbed some terrified young neophyte who barely knew what she was doing, and...what? You think your pitiful weaponry is somehow a match for my fully operational- ack!"

She trails off as Thrask effortlessly wraps her up in his grip.

Her mind is suddenly fuzzy. What the hell was she saying? Something about power, and fear and ... bad things. Stupid things.

She looks at the floor. "So, a workout, huh?" Her voice is very, very, small.

Thrask doesn't even look at her. "They were mindless beasts fledgling, considering they can pierce my flesh with just their claws...That'd put them on the level with just about any beast on Dosha." he said, trying to bring the point to bear. He hated when others belittled the enemies one had faced less they weren't worth anything in the eyes of the Scorekeeper.

He smiled wickedly "No, no you will wish that you were bloody by the time we are done. Maybe one day I will show you a proper workout. No, we shall work on your strikes and your endurance. No gloves, no armor, no heavy clothes, no boots...just flesh pounding on flesh and bone." he said before taking a heavy breath as if he could already smell the sweat and pain in the air.

As Kara strides away, Aneira releases the breath she hadn't realised she was holding... and moves her hand off the grip of her concealed blaster.

I'm still not really sure what just happened down there, what I do know is that you put life and limb on the line on our account, and potential for glorious fights or even more glorious tales to spin...

...only goes so far. So thank you for that. I'm not great at sharing secrets, my line of work you'll understand, but here there isn't much to tell.

She opens the flap of her hip pouch and pulls out a small, leather-wrapped parcel. Using her other hand she peels away the cover to reveal a crystal glowing with a faint azure light.

I've an inkling what it is, what it... means, but not enough information to connect the dots as to who sent us the co-ordinates of this place... how about you Djebelle?

Aneira wraps the crystal up again as she waits for Djebelle to answer.

A few moments longer...and Aristi shifts the ship into hyperspace. Autopilot on, he wandered back to see the rest of the team. His fur twitched, feeling tension thick in the air. All the same, he enters, sees most of the crew grouped in the rec area.

The Bothan loops his hands behind his head, relaxed. "Whew!" he says with a wink. "That was a toughie! Things were looking grim, but hey a few shots of the ol' lascannons, those things weren't so tough. No need to thank me, just glad I could lend a hand." He looks around at Aneira and Djebelle, only slowly taking clocking that they seem to be heading for the hold with Thrask. "So, what was in those caves, anyway?"

Djebelle nods at Aristi as he enters the room, but doesn't look at him. In reply to his question, she digs around in one pocket, before holding up a crystal in the same style as Aneira's - apart from the colour which is purple, the same as her hair.

In a small, wretched voice she mutters "S'an Ilum crystal; they were used in li- lightsabers!" and bursts into tears, aware of how utterly she's failed her first real test.

Aristi's eyes widen in shock at Djebelle's tears. His fur frazzled as he clasps hands to his head. "Whoa! Crystals! Well, that's good . . . right?" He looks confused, Djebelle's emotional state doesn't seem to match her news. He scratches an ear, then adds "What's a lightsaber?"

Lightsabers were carried by the Jedi, their signature weapons. You don't see them much since the purge twenty years ago...

She brings her gaze level with Djebelle.

...so I ask again, do you have any inkling who would send you co-ordinates to this place, given that possession of these crystals will bring the Empire's Jedi hunters down on our heads quicker than a Corellian on the Kessel Run...

Hearing the word that sharpens every bounty hunter's ear, Juviest raises from the couch, and inhales deeply as his wounds complain.

"Where w'ld you two get lights'ber crystals from?", he asked dismissingly, as he poured himself another drink from the already half-empty bottle. His head slowly made the connection during an uncomfortable pause, as the Sullustan slowly stood up in a semblance of balance, then pointed a finger at Aneira and Djebelle, shaking.

"Wait... Is... is you two Jedi?", he asked in a confused tone. "Like... choking people and stuff?", he muttered, picking up the glass with the forced carefulness of a drunk. "That's... great, I guess.", he concludes, half-falling down back on the couch. His eyes stare at them, remaining open with visible difficulty. Damn Jedi. Always sneaking up on people., he thought. Weird., he concludes, staring blankly at the distance.

Aneira's words about the Jedi sink in. "Well. This crew gets more and more interesting!" He slides into a seat across from Juviest, takes the half-empty bottle from the Sullustan's hands. He takes a curious sniff, then knocks back a swig before passing the bottle back. Leaning back, Aristi relaxes.

"So I've set the coordinates for Bespin. That is where we were going next, right? To try to cadge some weapons for the rebels? if not we can set a new course. So, how much do you think one of those crystal thingies would be worth?"

Astrogation check - 1 failure, 3 advantage; seems like, Aristi thinks he's set the coordinates for Bespin...

In case I wasn't clear about just how much the Empire wants rid of the last vestiges of Jedi both living and historic, signaling anyone, even the fixers of the blackest of markets, that we have these would be like lighting a solid steel signal flare in a cave of mynocks

A quizzical expression crosses her face

Just the co-ords Djebelle? Odd, and worrisome... Why send us there if not to acquire these? Was it too dangerous for the senders to reach themselves and they want these crystals? Or is whoever it is trying to help us in some way?

She shakes her head

No way of knowing... don't suppose anyone's got a schematic for a lightsaber hilt hidden on any old data chips?

Eyeballing Aristi, Juviest chuckles. "Shouldn't ya be pilotin' a ship? If y'are, take the bottle! Hah! You fly sober, they can track your movements.", he says to the Bothan, patting him on the back, hopefully joking. The smell of whiskey always permeates the man, so it's hard to tell.

Juviest shuffles heavily towards the group. "Well... So if someone's sent signal to Djeb...", he says, raising a hand in the air. "And it was someone that had Jedi connections..." He shrugs. "Them people had that thing... what was it... altruism! That's right. So maybe they just wanted to give ya both a crystal... And how didn't I get one, 'Neira?", he asks, exhaling cigar smoke.
