Question: Yujin's bloodline was always a Sovereign Dragon, but Sovereign Dragon is legacy. I had put the type as Empyrial. But now looking at Dragon Form, it looks closer to Omen. Which type should I use?

I'll work on my post later. It got really late while working on leveling up.

I'd stand by that sovereign dragon is an occult dragon with a mental breath, so yeah, using omen dragon as a close approximation would work. Plus pretty much the only part of all that that we used was the +1 to initiative, which is whatever (COMPLETELY didn't notice that you should've gotten a +1 to AC and saves vs. divine)

I'm working on figuring out the modified stats for Dragon Form.

It says, "AC = 21 + level". Is my AC just 36? Or do I still add Dexterity modifiers and/or proficiency modifiers to that?

And for attack, is says "attack modifier of +28. you are trained with them." Does the +28 already include the +2 trained bonus? And do I add my Str bonus?

Edit: I think I figured it out. I don't add anything to the listed numbers.

I added a spoiler at the bottom of my character sheet for Dragon Form for reference.

If that’s not an appropriate use for using Occultism then I don’t know what is!

Ajoran is only trained in Deception, but he does have Assurance. He's very used to having to hide his appearance wherever he goes.

He also has access to any two skills at Master rank on demand thanks to his tome. I'm open to suggestions based on the party's needs.

Transport-wise Janna can do 3 rank 7 Teleports per day (both rank 7 slots and then using her rank 8 as a rank 7 (without heightneing)).

It's best if she's familiar with the location, so sticking to major locations where we can assume she's murdered someone before, we could do something like:

Hop 1: Crownhold -> Magnimar ~ 900 miles
Hop 2: Magnimar -> Egorian ~820 miles
Hop 3: Egorian -> Mediogalti Island ~ 1000 miles

We could even in a stop at Azir between Egorian and Mediogalti island to avoid having to really max out the distances. With coastal locations there might be a risk of appearing in the water I suppose, but perhaps we can aim inland a bit, visualising the city on the horizon or what-have-you

Stopping at a metropolis like Egorian would have the advantage of letting us do some shopping for Intrigue related stuff if we needed to; I was going to suggest Greater Masquerade Scarves but since Suryo is a Master of Deception he could just disguise us instead. If we do four Teleports staying in Egorian for a day to do shopping (and avoiding the devil worshippers) would work out.

If we did that how much gold could we get liquidating the stolen stuff? I've marked everything in the Inventory Sheet that I think we should keep as being carried by Janna (not necessarily to be used by Janna, e.g someone should take the Greater Resilient Rune), if folks did the same we could figure out how much we're dealing with, and then we can think about what we'd like to buy if we agree to stop for some shopping. What level is Egorian? If we needed to we could probably get to Absalom with another day or two of hops.

Etching runes requires Magical Crafting IIRC so we'd need to hire someone to do that (e.g in Egorian) if we wanted to? How much time does that take?

I think once we teleport close to Ilizmagorti, it would be acceptable to pay to take a ship to the island. Maybe we could even gather some information about the current state of the city while onboard.

In the city, Yujin can utilize her background as a servant in Ilizmagorti and Labor Lore to locate good haunts where commoners gather to pry information from them. Commoners aren't likely to be privy to the Vernai's secrets but I suspect we are going to need to work from the bottom up to get the information we need.

Yujin does not have Diplomacy but she can try to Intimidate information out of people.

All the runes you listed are appealing but I don't think Yujin would utilize any effectively. If we want to hang onto any to decide whether to keep or sell until later, that's fine with me too.

I'm not sure about the utility of the Ready rune to be honest, how often do you find yourself putting on armour? That said it's pretty cheap so it doesn't make much difference.

The Extending rune seems very useful but it's a rare item whose description I find totally immersion breaking. I have no problem imagining all sorts of fantastical magic, but I really struggle to envision stretching a weapon by 60 feet and doing anything with it other than falling over (or starring in a bugs bunny cartoon). Maybe if someone takes that we can flavour it as making a temporary portal which can be struck through?

The one's I'd marked as Janna were just ones I didn't want us to sell, not things she actually wanted. I redirected the Greater Frost to Ajoran as Janna is unlikely to ever use her saber, but nevertheless I grabbed +2 greater striking wounding for it as it's probably her religious duty to keep it tip-top. Now I'm thinking about it Animated might make sense for her weapon since she's unlikely to use it in combat (and you can't put it on Storm-flash Suryo, specific magic weapons can't get extra property runes in the same way armour can't)

It looks like we have two Greater Resilient Runes. In character Janna would argue that she should have one (and then sulk if she didn't get her way), but personally I think Yujin should have it so I've assigned it to her.

There are 8 Energy Resistant Cold runes and 1 Greater version, if folks have property slots remaining I recommend grabbing one of those. Janna has currently grabbed the greater version as she saw it first :p She has grabbed a lot of stuff though so I'm happy to switch with someone!

I also really like the look of the Assassin's skin, but in Janna's case having a +5 DEX humble brag makes it worse than Explorer's Clothing so she'll pass too

Finally I was looking how much it would cost to upgrade Janna's Greater Staff of the Unblinking Eye and I noticed it was Uncommon and I never asked about it, so er, sorry! Is it OK to keep that?

Yes, okay, Yujin could use the greater resilient rune. She'd also need to take the +2 armor potency rune to go with it. I'll take the cost of transferring them out of whatever we earn.

In that case, a +1 armor potency and a resilient rune can be sold (or used to pay for some of the transfer cost).

Yup, I think we assign everything that could possibly be useful, use up our equipment rune slots, worst case we switch them out later.

Everything else you stated makes sense to me, though I think extending and returning are still worth assigning to someone.

Suryo's weapons are maxed out now (his sawtooth sabre has keen and wounding).

I think Ajoran could use the ready rune on the mantis shell armor to be able to quickly be ready when being woken up to a surprise encounter (I think those with explorer's clothing can comfortably sleep in it).

Actually, at +5 Dex, the vast majority of non-heavy armor functions exactly the same (barring traits, obviously), where the dex cap and the item bonus (minus potency runes) add up to +5. (For heavy armor it’s +6)

Also, at this point, just keep the staff. Nothing on there is really gamebreaking in my opinion.

I'm certainly interested in the ready rune. This seems like one of the more likely kinds of campaigns where being ambushed in your sleep is a possibility. Plus, it means Ajoran can carry his armor in a hidden bundle and suit up in the field. Considering Ajoran ins in melee all the time, I would also like to claim a Wounding rune.

I've got room for a frost resist rune on the armor but I'm not sure how much that will be a factor in the future.
