Zeldrith doesn't get Spell Combat until next level in any case. The Ray of Frost was in case I couldn't reach him with a single move action - I wasn't quite sure if I could reach him, since there was no grid on the map.

Yeah but I've always heard average rounded up. And the dice values are 6,8,10,12, all even. Why would the GM need to specify "rounded up" if they didn't really mean average?

It's generally 6. I prefer to call it 'half + 1' HP.

Because there's 2 different 'meanings' people assign.

Half of 10 is 5.
But, generally, when speaking about dice it's "average half value" so for a d10 it's 5.5 which rounds up to 6.

Curse of Faltering (Su):

As an immediate action when an enemy within 30 feet threatens a critical hit, the shaman can force the creature to reroll its original attack roll with a penalty equal to the shaman’s Charisma modifier. The target can attempt a Will save to negate this ability. Whether or not the save is successful, the creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 24 hours. This is a curse effect.

What's the Will save DC for Curse of Faltering?

The argument for Touch of Succor is that we don't have any other means of removing those conditions and sickened is debilitating at this level.

Day 1 with father is done. Although it went better than I thought there were still a couple moments where he proved me why Fosyo is loosely based on him.

And it's a decent DC considering it's likely to be a lower Will save opponent we need to worry about critting us. :)

Heh, this is actually attempt number 2 on this Adventure Path for me. My first play-by-post here on the boards was this one too, about 10 years ago! We finished Burnt Offerings and were in the middle of The Skinsaw Murders when our GM got burned out. I have deliberately tried to keep my memories of that campaign suppressed to experience it with new eyes in this one...even if Donimah is basically a human re-imagining of the dwarf cyphermage I played in that game. :P
