With the Elephant in the Room rules, simply picking up Weapon Focus (finesse/rapier) and Fencing Grace is way faster than taking 3 levels in Unchained Rogue.

The three levels of URogue is Juriya's plan for actually dealing damage, for the record. I don't plan on constant negative STR mod attacks :)

It is but I thought the 1.5x Dex-to-damage would fit thematically with a Bloodrager but, again, anything that messes up spellcasting progression is often not worth it.


I thought that you couldn't take levels in a hybrid class if you have levels in the original class, but I looked and I was wrong. That is a... thematic character you have Juri!

@Arrian, you don't get 1.5x Dex-to-damage while going 2H. Also, Fencing Grace specifically says you have to have your second hand free.

Yeah it's specifically Alternate Classes that you can't have levels of the base class (Ninja-Rogue, Samurai-Cavalier, Antipaladin-Paladin(.

I'm just trying to make this character somewhat functional, but it turned out to fit the "mediocre alchemist" bit fairly well between the bombs and the delayed extracts/mutagen.

The eldest of a litter of 4 born in Magnimar, Fosyo always was the more responsible of the children, looking after her two little sisters and little brother. She had an immense distrust of the arcane, despite the fact that many of her family, including her sister Saryo and brother Geigen, had a natural affinity for arcane magic; this distrust turned to hatred when Geigen went off and was subsequently killed by an unknown monster. She met and fell in love with Taccath fairly quickly, although when he suggested moving to Sandpoint, she was against the idea until Saryo decided to go with them.

Giving birth to one kit is a rarity in amurrun, some considering it an ill omen, which horrified Fosyo when only one was born-Ano. Regardless, she did love her daughter, but was overly protective and refused to allow her to make friends with any of the locals (though that didn’t stop her from occasionally hanging out with Ameiko Kaijitsu when the young catfolk could). Fosyo and Taccath frequently argued about this, as well as Ano’s future-Taccath and Saryo wished for Ano to find her own path and explore, while Fosyo was determined to make Ano a devoted acolyte of Desna. When Saryo mentioned that the town priest had a daughter of his own who needed a friend, Fosyo immediately set the two children up to be friends-although as time wore on, she began to see Nualia, the child of the priest, less as a person and more as a “celestial curse”.

The death of Taccath during the Great Unpleasantness nearly destroyed Fosyo’s spirit, and since then she has not smiled or laughed in public, and even towards her family what joy she expressed lasted no more than a few seconds. She used to write letters to her family in Magnimar, but since the Unpleasantness she has stopped, and even refused to speak to any family members that try to visit (as well as bar Ano from speaking to them). As Ano grows into a young woman, Fosyo’s fears of her only child dying a reckless death grows daily, and she is becoming more and more determined to keep a tighter leash on her daughter-by any means necessary.

Fosyo used to be well liked by the town, but since her husband’s death, few ever get the courage to speak to her, unless they are dealing with her small business of selling spices and minor medicinal herbs. Fosyo is not one for violent outbursts, but every now and then when she is in a foul mood, she makes it clear with her snarling eyes that nobody bothers her. And the townsfolk have read that message clearly.

Second oldest in the litter of 4, Saryo was always one who believed that life is full of surprises, both good and bad. She had a natural talent for singing, which amplified her budding arcane magic, but after the death of her younger brother, Geigen, she entered a deep sleep where she encountered several moths flying in the pitch black sky, lighting the way like stars and warming her from the cold like small balls of fire. Her leg suffered a mysterious ailment that no herb or magic could heal, but since then her healing abilities have increased dramatically.

When she moved to Sandpoint with her sister and brother-in-law, she worked within the cathedral as an unofficial acolyte, while also being a much needed babysitter and aunt for her niece, Ano, who Saryo treats like the greatest surprise in her life, in spite of not wanting children herself. Whenever Fosyo and Taccath argued, she would try to be the mediator, although she did believe that her sister’s overprotectiveness and paranoia were becoming more annoying to handle-especially when her sister wanted to decide Ano’s future instead of letting the young amurrun choose her own path. On the other hand, she sometimes felt like the priest of the town-Father Tobyn-would not make her a true member of the clergy due to not being as devoted to Desna as most other clerics would be; she only tolerated this because Father Tobyn did allow her to assist the other acolytes if they needed help.

The Great Unpleasantness unnerved Saryo greatly-especially when the cathedral burned down-but she stepped up to help the community as much as she could, and gained a lifelong friend in the new priest, Father Zantus. As gratitude for her devotion to help the town, Father Zantus approved of Saryo to become the first catfolk to join Sandpoint’s clergy. She to this day holds immense pride for Ano, who is discovering her own path. However, she is equally concerned over her sister, who is becoming more bitter and cold with each passing day since the Unpleasantness.

I wanted to give Zel and others a chance to move into the room because once Arrian did there'd be literally nowhere in the room for them.

So now that brings up a couple questions:
1) Can Arrian strike the goblin with his 10' reach from where he is now?
2) If not would he suffer penalties from squeezing to get into the room as it is now?
3) If the answer to 2 is 'Yes' can Donimah dismiss the Enlarge Person since it doesn't look like she's taken a standard action yet?

I can't tell if Ano can move with Arrian blocking the way, but if she can move past him, she'll definitely use a hero point to make an additional move action to catch up to Tsuuto

I can't tell if Ano can move with Arrian blocking the way, but if she can move past him, she'll definitely use a hero point to make an additional move action to catch up to Tsuuto

PCs can move through friendlies and I made sure to use Arrian's 10' reach so either Ano or Zel could pass Arrian and attack Tsuto.

Ano seemed to have already moved 30 feet, so idk if she can attack if she uses a Hero Point to move more past Arrian
