Krakas sizes up the distance between us and the flying dog creature, utilizing some powerful new magic, a spell he has never tried before but only read and recently learned. He reaches out and with a great wrenching motion attempts to Trip the dog using telekinetic magic.

The howl of the creature frightens Avenger of the Green, Perla (but not Shadow), Krakas and Solras. All of them are Frightened 1

Even frightened, Avenger of the Green manages to blast the creature.

Perla is able to strike it with one of the arrows.

Solras is also able to hit it.

Krakas, although frightened, is able to trip the creature. Oddly enough, it doesn't fall to the ground, but goes prone in the air!

This is probably not a flank, since it's in the air. I'll let you be the judge of that. Wolf Jaw Strikes have the backstabber trait, giving it a +1 damage if the hits are from a flank.

Also note Stunning Fist, DC 19 Fort or stunned 1, stunned 3 on crit fail

Krakas recalls that the creature is a Yeth Hound. You heard the Yeth Hound's Bay. That can frighten many creatures. It can even make them flee.

Yeth Hounds do not like direct sunlight nor any kind of canine. They have a continuous effect on them similar to the spell Air Walk.

The bite of a Yeth Hound can increase the frightened condition.

They have a weakness to silver.

Virgil glances up at the sky.
Be dark soon. Humans don't see so well in the dark. Plus we do have injured traveling these harsh environs. By the time we clear out any strangling demons, cultists, ravenous ravens ready to rip reliable repasts.

The Magus begins searching for shelter.

You are roughly a half-mile from Horgus Mansion and a mile from Anevia's home, but, the way has been blocked by chasms and destruction, so, you need to take the long way around to find a way to those parts of the city.

With only a little more than an hour til dark, you continue moving, trying to find a way to the inner parts of the city, while searching for a defensible building for the night.

It is nearly dark, when you come to a shrine to Sarenrae. The roof is broken, and something is burning inside. But, that is not what rivets your attention.

Three human knights in battered armor surround a weeping young woman. Their faces are sooty and grim and their eyes burn with feverish light. One of the knights, a human woman with fresh scars on her face says to the kneeling woman, "Your sacrifice aids the cause of Holiness!"

Obahi squints his eyes at the scene. "I swear this whole city has gone crazy." he exclaims into the evening air, and immediately starts leaping over to the circle of knights. He reaches for the woman and attempts to move her outside of the circle. "Explain yourselves!" he shouts as he attempts to put the woman behind himself to remain between her and the knights.
