This is an experiment with homebrewed PF2 Mythic rules of the Wrath of the Righteous AP

Retraining House Rule:

Retraining generally takes a week of downtime. And you have to have found someone to pay to help you retrain. In some Adventure Paths (APs) there is enough downtime to actually make this viable (I'm looking at you, KingMaker, which had months of downtime). I'm not really seeing enough downtime in Wrath of the Righteous (WotR) to make this work.

Here is what I propose:

The PC makes a declaration to the GM/table that they plan to retrain out of X and retrain into Y.

Immediately, they lose X.

After a week of in-game time, they make a skill check (generally the DC of which is the Hard DC for the level of Y):

Critical Success: They can immediately begin using Y with no penalties
Success: They can immediately begin using Y, but with a -2 Retraining penalty related to using Y. This penalty goes away after one week of in-game time.
Failure: You still have lost X, and can immediately start a new week of training into Y
Critical Failure: You still have lost X, and must wait an in-game week before restarting training into Y.

For instance, if Harry the level 8 Rogue wanted to retrain out of a general feat taken at level 3 and replace it with a level 2 feat, then the DC would be 18 (16 for level 2 and +2 for Hard DC). If instead it was being replaced by a level 7 feat, the DC would be 25.

If Harry's feat was a Thievery-related feat, then the applicable skill would be Thievery. But, if the feat was related to something else (let's say Toughness), then the applicable skill would be different (in Toughness' case, it would be Fortitude). Non-obvious applicable skills would have to be discussed with the GM.

Aravashnial says, "I've heard of tunnels beneath Kenabres, but no one has accessed them for generations."

Anevia shrugs her shoulders and comments, "I've not even heard of those tunnels. But tunnels and parts of old cities are common in established cities."

Horgus Gwerm glares at Anevia and spits out, "How should I know. I'd never come to such places." He brushes off his cloak and continues, "If you folk can get me out of here and safe, you can get a reward."

You could try Mendev Lore, but the information is likely to be more general, rather than specific. Kenabres Lore would be helpful. Possibly also Worldwound Lore. Maybe Crusade Lore. You could try Society or Archeology Lore, but the DCs will be higher.

In this part of the cavern, a stone ledge juts out at a right angle on the south wall of this cavern, fourteen feet off the ground. The leather strap of a backpack hangs from the edge of the ledge, while above, a narrow fissure yawns up into the dark.

It looks like the ledge is climbable, but, it might be a bit difficult.

Solras starts to climb up to the ledge in front of her, putting the Harmona on its usual sling for storage while she climbs. "I'm up for it, potentially!" She takes a look over to make sure nothing is going to come out and kill her before preceding, however.

The backpack contains two weeks of rations, a flint and steel, a set of caltrops, two flasks of oil, a bundle of 12 arrows, a Minor Healing Potion, and a Potion of Restoration.

Your sole remaining route is east past the cavern where you fought the cave viper (A4).

After traveling the winding route for about 1,900 feet (at a speed of 15 feet through the rough cavern passages, this takes about 25 minutes to navigate), you reach the tunnel’s end at a junction.

To the north, a 5-foot-wide opening in the wall leads into a cave filled with soft but nasty-looking green light—the tunnel itself continues
south.

Which way do you go? North or South?

At intersections, he spills some water on the floor to find out which way is up. (If possible.)

Obahi would suggest taking whatever route that would allow him to move without taking his hand off the wall. For now, at least.

Avenger of the Green strikes at the fly, it Avoids the Swat and flies 15 feet north latching on to the side of the building.

Obahi walks around the fly and the first half of Obahi's flurry strikes the fly.

Because the fly moved as a reaction, it is now too far away from Virgil for Virgil to cast shield, move twice, and strike. If you don't mind, I will have Virgil cast shield and move twice into flanking position.
