Potions of Fly are of questionable use if you don't have the Fly skill.
A skilled flyer can ascend at a greater than 45-degree angle, and unless you can make that DC 20 check (with ACP) then it is very hard to catch them.
There are also checks needed to stay aloft if you move less than half your speed in a round.

I generally prefer the Air Walk spell for these reasons.

But, 3-D combat is logistically pretty difficult to run, with a lot of rules, so how much all these Fly challenges matter in an actual game depends on how much the GM wants to deal with it.

Also, dragons are really fast fliers.

I am aware of all the disadvantages and that it may not be an ideal situation. Its's a risky choice, but Eskar's intentions are to fight the dragon either way so it won't harm anybody else, not just distract it. That's why he chooses to stay and fight.

Unfortunately, I don't have air walk scrolls, I only had enough for fly potions and longbow for this occasion. We could also give the potion to Noir if it is a preferable way to fight the dragon

Although the door is already open, so if the group unanimously prefers to bypass it and go in, then we can also do that.

The clock is ticking, not just for this encounter but for the encounters inside the building so, I will call for a vote now and check the results first thing in the morning. Majority wins.

I have done a lot of specials via PbP and thought this one overly rushed.

Might be the way it was written. Most of the ones I recall enjoying more were from later seasons. Solstice Scar in particular.

I'm glad most folks liked the game.

This one had a lot of combat and a lot of combat with a lot of low level creatures. You guys were relatively low on area attacks so you still had to wipe them out one by one rather than being able to just plow through them.

On the other hand, the tough stuff wasn't so tough for you.

Anyone who has a day job and hasn't rolled it, please do so.

I'm still getting used to RPG Chronicles so I forgot to ask, previously.

Day Job - Profession (Soldier): 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (13) + 19 = 32

Dayjob Diplomacy: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (3) + 24 = 27

@Ebonfist . We might start a new group fpr casual playuing on society if you don't mind to give away that grippli, catfolk, or skinwalker race boon, I would appreciate , nver was able to get that specific one and would liek to try a catfolk of skinwalker for when that happens .
