This is the Discussion thread
My own PbP combat style is to try and respect initiative order in resolving actions rather than just simple posting order (unless the sequence of events would benefit significantly otherwise). I'll roll initiatives at the start and some saves if I think they will affect my further actions in the turn to keep things moving. If you wish to delay on purpose, let me know, don't just wait on me. I will usually only update the combat narrative when everyone who can go has gone.
Make sure you roll for your actions in the order they occur in your turn. Requested saves first...
Make sure you keep your tagline updated with the current value for your Saves, Perception, Exploration Activity, and Armor Class, considering your spells cast. Treat it as your verbal response if I were to ask you what the value was in a face to face game, because that is how I'll treat it. But don't worry about conditional modifiers like cover or prone, I'll handle that stuff.
I will try to keep track of everyone's ongoing buffs in the combat tracker during combats and will also show you enemy conditions (and heights, if they are flying), so we are all on the same page. Let me know if I missed something.
Feel free to ask about anything in the discussion threads or if you think I've ruled incorrectly or just made a mistake. You likely know your character better than I will. I'll make corrections as necessary, but I think we all know there are still some rules that are up to the GM's discretion. I try to rule by RAW for PFS, and stick to written tactics unless they are obviously illogical as the combat progresses.
Also, let me know if you need to take a short break from the game for any reason.

Bringing Argoni for this one!
Per Community standards, I need to ask everyone if they are ok with being hit with splash damage from Argoni's bombs. In general, I try to limit it anyways and I have a backfire mantle I can loan out if needed, but it's bound to happen especially to front line melee. No obligation to say yes, and I will simply avoid it on you. I absolutely will not hit you with splash damage if you are down/dying.
In game, Argoni might be a tad flip about the splash damage on people, but out of game, it's a serious topic to ensure people are ok with.

![]() |

I am fine to recieve some splash dmg, no worries.
Hello everyone!
Glad to join with a person who's deffinitely not made for visiting Blakros museum or an official event. We'll see ho it goes.
The Hunter and his fiery cat are here to scout and suport you!
And we both have some Fire resistance...

![]() |

Salaish the bard, checking in. She doesn't like taking splash damage, but as she tends to stay at the back it shouldn't cramp Argoni's style. (Hi!)
@Armagile: I enjoy bringing characters that don't fit a scenario well. The RP potential can be great.

![]() |

I remember the old Armagile back in PFS1e. Hello, Storm!
Another bard - oh, not a bard but battle raper! - is here.
I'm ok with some friendly fire unless I'm already in deep trouble or it knockouts Solomon .)

![]() |

Hi Salaish! Great to play with you again!
Fun to have two Bards boosting us.

![]() |

Ooo, yeah! I have Inspire Courage, Inspire Defense, and Inspire Competence. Solomon, since you're higher level, do you want to Inspire Courage in combat, while I do Defense? I'm happy to Inspire Competence for any skill checks too.

![]() |

I believe I have only Inspire Courage so I kept my fingers crossed that you have other kinds of performance too. Very lucky & thank you! :))

![]() |

Griss says, "I am a bravely Ulfen warrior. Stay out of my head, and I don't care about a little thing like splash damage."

![]() |

Hello all!
We will formally begin on March 6 but feel free to jump over to the game thread and start your roleplay.
Also, if you could fill out your character details here so that I can get the chronicles lined up when we are finished. Thanks!
Let me know if you have any questions.

I have one glyph, so one extra Hero Point to pass out. Anyone else have any? I generally give mine to the lowest levels at the table, so looks like either Salaish or Argoni. Hopefully someone else has one to toss their way.

I have one as well, I'll give it to Argoni so you can give yours to Salish.
--
Two requests for table thoughts.
I really should invest in a Demon Mask, for the extra +1 to my intimidation, but masks aren't really Griss' thing.
Also should really consider switching my main weapon away from the War Flail. I don't really use its properties, and I might be better off going to the 'traditional' Greatsword or picking up Reach.

![]() |

Griss, you could reskin the mask as warpaint if that helps. Or even facial piercings that make you look terrifying.
Welcome, Olnik! Do you have any issue with being hit with splash damage from bombs? Argoni is a bomber, so it might come up.

![]() |

Thanks for the Glyphs, Olnik and Griss!
So now that Olnik has joined us, we have three maestro bards. This party is going to be so inspired!
Maybe the three of us can coordinate our spells. Salaish has Deja Vu, which she'll happily cast when someone else casts a spell that would eat up a foe's turn to double the effect. (She once used it out of combat in conjunction with Charitable Urge to get a guard to abandon his post. That was beautiful.)
1st:
Deja Vu
Fear
Sanctuary
Soothe
2nd:
Calm Emotions
Charitable Urge
Sound Burst
3rd:
Roaring Applause
Slow

I've distributed the glyphs on the handout next to your character's token. Feel free to throw them at Ambrus' feet when you use them during the game. I'll try to hand out a new one every week or so of game time depending on our pace.
Don't forget to sign in on RPG chronicles at the link above (March 1)
Looks like we are at 18 CP, so with six players that is low-tier play

![]() |

I'm sorry, I also have one glyph too.
I'll give it to Armagile "the Hunter".

![]() |

^^^^The link to the maps is always under my name after every post of mine.

![]() |

It's a tight one, but you've downed two of them so far...

![]() |

Sorry my mental health was really bad this weekend, so I had no motivation to post.
Sorry that happened to you. I hope you get a good reprieve soon! Sending virtual hugs, or whatever would help you feel better.

![]() |

No worries, Griss. Hope everything improves.

![]() |

I will be cleaning and cooking a lot for the holiday weekend. I may be able to post, but I can't guarantee it. Please bot if needed.

![]() |

![]() |

**Desperately checks that he has a mistform elixir**

![]() |

It can. Take care of yourself and slide into the game if and when you feel it.

![]() |

Hello everyone!
I'm going away for two weeks, and I'll be without internet at all. This is a yoga and meditation retreat with complete disconnection from the outside world. I will be in touch from May 15, I will start playing from about the 16th.
Feel free to bot Solomon. Formulas, as always, are in his character sheet.
If you finish the game before I return, then please leave the chronicle download active until May 16-17. In that case, I also apologize for leaving you like this - I was hoping that we would finish earlier.
Thanks!
PS GM, I want to ask you to do inspire courage by my character on the next turn - with Lingering Composition. Thanks again .)

All,
With a few more lucky strikes or spells we will be bringing this adventure to a close. Make sure your info at RPG chronicles here is updated and correct and I'll be able to deposit those in a folder at our conclusion.

![]() |

Hmm... Strange. I'm logged into RPGchronicles, but for some reason it's not letting me view Olnik's entry in detail. Nothing's changed since I entered it, though, so I think I got all the info in there. Let me know if there are any gaps.

![]() |

This week and Monday of next week my posting might be off a bit. I'm proctoring AP exams, so I don't know if/when I'll be able to post each day. Please bot if necessary.

![]() |

I'm at a conference this week. I should be able to post in the late evenings, but it may be sparse or inconsistent. Please bot if needed.

![]() |

@Olnik The only thing I don't see is an email. There is a slight chance you can win a voucher from the convention and they want to send it there. Feel free to DM me that separately and I'll include it in the reporting form.
@Solomon Same for you but I know you are on leave right now.

![]() |

Alright you can access your chronicles here. I'll keep them in this location for a few months. Let me know if there are any issues with them. Thanks again for playing, I had fun, hope you did too. Happy future adventures, everyone!

![]() |

My Chronicle looks good. Thanks for running this, GM Erich. Those Onyx Alliance folks were no joke! They were more dangerous than the foals were, at least as far as how much they hurt us is concerned.
If Drhami and Nigel want to keep the Blakros family in the dark about their intentions, they're going to have to be more subtle than that.
I'll add my downtime:
Earn Income: Performance (Busking) DC 18: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
Failure = 0.64 gp
Gosh. I gotta find a better corner.
