Sorry to learn about the issues with a sick cat. We have two and went through something like that about ten years ago with one who developed a urinary track blockage.
As for the SW RIFTS game, I'm a sucker for new character creation, especially in the RIFTS system, which is interesting. I'm creating a character for this game, which has been keeping me busy the last day or two.

Just made my first post with a Techno-Wizard. The recruitment is still open if anyone wants to get in, but there are several other characters in development.
FWIW, the recruitment title said "looking for 2 players", and 2 players responded and have joined. But, in his original recruitment, the GM said he wanted 4 players, and eventually went up to six, so if anyone's *really* interested...
