Just to clarify, are Chisomo and Reknar starting a fight against each other?
Yes, apparently over Sandara's affections...

Lucille de Avrois |

Is it legal to do 2 things? I found responding to the spicy bugs in character to be a hilarious idea.
Also, Lucille is absolutely not plotting to murder plugg, have the smute cook him, and serve the dish to scourge!
She indeed isnt, its the other way round!

Reknar |

Hey everyone.
Due to unexpected reasons, I will have to bow out of the game.
I think you can expect a great one with DM Meleager at the helm.
Good luck on the high seas.

Is there an overview somewhere over the Stati of each crewmember regarding us?
I guess tehre is not so:
Samms is now Friendly.
Giffer is now Unfriendly.
Rosie is now Friendly.
Grok is now Helpful
Ratline is now Friendly
Giffer is now Friendly.
Rosie is now Helpful.
Crimson Cogward zips up to being Friendly.
Tilly is now Helpful.
Badger is now Indifferent.
Well done. Owlbear is now Helpful.
Shivikah is now Helpful.
Kroop is now Friendly.
Samms is now Helpful.
Giffer is now Helpful.

Djir Bentwhisker |

Is there an overview somewhere over the Stati of each crewmember regarding us?
...
Actually, there is, it was hidden in this POST.
Note that attitudes are apparently to the party as a whole; not just an individual. They range through Hostile, Unfriendly, Indifferent, Friendly and HelpfulIn terms of housecleaning, I would recommend putting the link to said spreadsheet in the Campaign Info Tab. I would also suggest adding the Daytime Ship Actions rules from this POST, the Night Time Ship Action and Rum rules from this POST and the Entertainment rules from this POST

Welcome nufriend! Hope we are near enough so you dont get eaten by the reefclaws, which would be really awkward because it would make eating the reefclaws be indirect cannibalism!

Randall McNally |

Well, I'll try not to get eaten.

Randall McNally |

I have maps set up if you want to use them.

Sorry, I forgot to set permissions. Should be all good now.

Lucille de Avrois |

I can actually try to bail you out via murderous command (on one reefclaw to have it attack the other) on my turn, should just be in range.
I hope we are reasonably close, because 2 reefclaws as a level 1 character within 5 feet are very very dire. Even if you are some Abyssal Ragebred Skinwalker monstrosity with 5 attacks at level 1, and you arent one! :).

Randall McNally |

Yeah, this map isn't from the AP. Just something I pulled off the web. I just tried to place everyone where the GM described where they were.

I was thinking about build and want to post a question:
Does Barbed chains:
You summon a chain from another realm, causing it to burst out from the ground and strike a target within the spell’s range. You can have the chain either make a melee attack (dealing 1d6 points of slashing damage) or attempt a trip combat maneuver against the target. The chain uses your base attack bonus plus your key spellcasting ability score modifier as its attack bonus and combat maneuver bonus. On a successful hit or combat maneuver check, the target must attempt a Will save. If it fails its save, the creature is shaken for 1d4 rounds. You summon one additional chain every 3 levels after 1st, for a total of two chains at 4th level, three at 7th level, and a maximum of four at 10th level. Multiple chains can attack the same target but the shaken effect doesn’t stack.
Benefit from any trip related feat, maneuver mastery, agile maneuver etc. that I take myself?
RAW I think it does not.

Randall McNally |

Sorry, I jumped the gun.

Cnut Bjornsson |

Hey folks. I’ve recently gone back to school, flight school. I’m hoping to be an airline pilot in a few years. I knew it would take a lot of commitment, but now that it’s underway I realize the commitment is going to be significantly more than I even realized. As much as I enjoy it, I’m not going to have time for gaming for a while. Maybe I can come back in a year or so when I’m done training and just trying to build up my hours. (I’m not asking you to hold a spot for me, to be clear), but for now I have to step away. It’s been fun, and I’ll miss it, but real life has to come first. I want this career, and in the short term that’s going to require some sacrifices. Hope I see y’all around some time. Best of luck, and happy gaming.

Randall McNally |

Good luck.

Torin Brimfisher |

Greetings everyone. I believe Torin will be joining you soon. In the mean time I thank you for the interesting story so far.

Randall McNally |

Maybe Torin can be another Albatross survivor.

Randall McNally |

Hence why it was doomed

DM Meleager |

@Lucille That's fine by me. Remember to handle your rum rations. It's a DC 5 Fort save to avoid 1d2 Con damage, but you get 1d4 Cha bonus as well as 1d8 fatigue. Not that the bonus would have mattered... but you're close. You can attempt a Stealth check to dump it, but getting caught has its consequences.
Newcomers, the actions you can do as well as the NPCs you can influence are in the Campaign Info tab. Friendly NPCs can aid you in tasks while Helpful ones can aid you in Influence checks with +2 to both. Be sure to take that into account before you roll. The more hostile the NPC, the higher the roll needed to influence. Other PCs can aid in Influence rolls with a DC 10 which would count as your night action. People who are Helpful won't need to roll for them again unless you do something really messed up to them.
For the games, all of them require money for you to bet on them in order to play. I believe you have some money so that won't be a factor.

Lucille de Avrois |

22 doesnt do it? Is she starting as hostile? If yes thats a 28ish check, assuming she has 16ish CHA.
Probably not worth trying to get the hostiles over while level 1 then.
The CHA bonus may get me into not failing by 5 or more though, although, if she already is hostile it probably just avoids a brawl.
But hmm, DC 27-28 at level 1 is, even with Lucilles really high bluff,
a 16-17 or a 25% chance.

Randall McNally |

I keep getting a Page Not Found error when I try and follow the link.

DM Meleager |

Here is the spreadsheet of the characters. I haven't revealed the characters' current level at the beginning, but you can at least guess who's the hostile ones. No one else is worse that Unfriendly.
This is the link.

Lucille de Avrois |

Hmm, with some assists it could be within feasibility, cha bonus puts its to 25 , if what Lucille was talking of is up her ally (I would not exclude this, Lucille is a friendly psycho but she is a psycho, but Mrs. Deranged smile my also view her as competition) it could possibly pass.

Lucille de Avrois |

It's actually 23 since it give a bonus to your total Charisma score.
Ah I though its to CHA skills, ok, impressive but not enough for a hostile :)

Randall McNally |

I'm not sure if the Sea Shanty will work on the rum since there is no roll/save to resist, otherwise it's at least a fun night.
I did talk to DM Meleager earlier and he's agreed to allow it to work on the Constitution checks associated with your daily tasks, so at least we got that going for us.

Lucille de Avrois |

Hmm, I think there was a half orc build that could start with like +15 to bluff or so :).

Randall McNally |

Okay, I'm confused. Lucille kept her Bec d'Corbin but Torin is talking about having to surrender his weapons and gear. Am I missing something?

Lucille de Avrois |

The Kind of funny thing is that Lucille has not in character reason to hate the wormwood all that much, but eh, she is definitly up for mutiny because 2 out of 3 of her patrons approve of backstabbings.
Also level up when? :).
