What was the point of fighting non-lethal if you're just going to kill them in the end? Doesn't look good for Randall who was supposed to be alone with them in the bilges.
One accidental drowning? Okay, maybe. Two accidental drownings while Randall walks out, relatively, unscathed. Again, not good.
Randall has (had) a plan for dealing with the aftermath. Then again he had a plan for dealing with the combat which went sideways when Jape came down (Damned half-orcs and their darkvision).

Brainstorming time:
Assuming Fibbs throat is ripped off
Option: Lucille heals Jape, then murderous commands him (uses her remaining 2 spell slots), possibly making him attack Fibbs with his weapon.
Ifs: 1: Is one CLW enough to get Jape back up? 2: Does Jape fail his DC15 will save vs Murderous command? 3: Does murderous command compell Jape to actually attack Fibbs probably obviously dead body?
Option: Make it look as if Fibbs and Jape killed each other.
Story being that they both tried to murder Randall, Randall got off murderous command or an equivalent after being heavily wounded, which caused them to kill each other. That Randall is at literally 1 hp atm is pretty good for that. Chisomo has never been there. Probably needs to hide in the Bilges for a bit, and then move out? Or move out stealthily right now.
Does the ship have a doctor equivalent who would be good at anatomy? Pretty sure both have a bunch of wounds equivalent with blodgeoning rather then.
Assuming Fibbs throat is not ripped off:
We kill fibbs by having him placidly drown with his face in a puddle.
OOOOPS, Lucille focused her healing on the guy with 2 stab wounds in the gut, and then on the weak looking Jape thinking Fibbs is a tough cookie.
Mistakes were made.
Try not annoying Nocitcula by failing at murder noob.

So here's my thinking:
I'm guessing Harrigan would still back him over us, but also wouldn't be happy about Plugg actively trying to kill us since the good Cap'n is who instituted the No Killing rule to make sure we keep as full a crew as possible.
So I don't want to kill them in a way that will make Harrigan get real involved. But if Jape saw me knock Fipps out before he got taken down, then he has to at least wonder if it was someone else with a grudge, or if it really was another dire rat down in the bilges.
But I also do want them to get the message.
I was thinking that Chisomo absolutely cops to everything up until the throat rip. She heard a commotion and saw Jape and Fibbs trying to kill Randall. She stopped them. They're still down in the bilges for the officers to determine their punishment.
Ideal outcome: Plugg has to keelhaul his own guy Jape for attempted murder, Chisomo probably gets some lashes for failing to protect Fibbs from the rats

Its reasonable, especially in light of Jape iirc being unable to talk, and thus being pretty bad in a court situation, but that assumes there will be a "court".
He would still have to possibly keelhaul Jape and Fibbs for attempted murder, even if Fibbs lives, and it may be possible to troll Fibbs into saying something really stupid, implicating plugg.

Well... that kinda depends. I'd been planning to just do the move and deal with the repercussions (hopefully as an Aid Another to Randall and Lucille's testimony of what they saw), but if they're actively telling her not to kill this guy, then she's not going to argue.
So it depends where in the branching timelines presented in Gameplay we actually are, I guess

These two She points at Fibbs and Jape
Were in no danger of dying when Plugg found em. I know because I stabilized them. I heard a commotion, came to investigate, saw Randall on the ground, dying two 2 deep gut wounds. She pauses.
Jumped down to keep him alive, narrowly managed that but it cost most of my stronger healing powers. Had barely enough left to stabilize the other two. She casts stabilize to show her ability, her hand glowing warmly.
Chisomo had a stab wound as well, had no magic juice left for it though. And she looked far more pissed then hurt. She pauses for effect.
Randalls got 2 new scars in his gut that prove my words, Chisomo got one, which they both didnt have yesterday. Only way the other 2 She points at Fibbs and Jape
would have died is if they fell face down in bilge water and drowned, so Randall had the idea to chain em up. If I hadnt been there, Im certain Randall would be dead, probably Fibbs as well.
I was there, so nobody died, and its entirely your choice who if any you are gonna keelhaul Captain.

The later is an oops on my part. She succeeded.
Unfortunately, Randall's roll wouldn't have work even with such a high roll. But you could perhaps say it played a part in fumbling their alibi.

I've updated the tokens on Roll20. Blue is Helpful to at least one of us, Green is Friendly, Red is Hostile, and Black is a ship's officer (Uninfluenceable). Currently there is no one Indifferent or Unfriendly.

Are ship officers fully uninfluencable? The master at arms didnt seem that bad, i think nobody had any contact with the mage/sorceress either. If its a sorceress, influencing her is probably 19-20 territory for Lucille and maybe Randall.

I have such a dumb idea, lets see during next night action if it works.
Lucilles task during boarding actions on the icebreaker was to run around in an actual Succubus Getup complete with fake bat wings, horns and a tail, be protected via protection from arrows, cast murderous command a lot and then bluff enemies into believing it was actually a dominate person spell. It was effective, distracting, hilarious, and let the actual heavy hitters on that ship do their job.

Picking up shadow trap as an extra spell, and enlarge person from the mystery, and I guess I get an extra cantrip as a favored class bonus.
TLDR:
--Now longer negative perception
--Picked up a new spell
--doubled HP
--Will make Torin, and me, and maybe Chisomo Big, that would be 3 spells for the day though, I kind of also want to divine favor myself.
--With divine favor and enlarge person up I actually hit like a truck for low levels. +5 AB (1 BAB, 3 STrength, 2 luck, -1 size) for 2D8+6 (4 str 2 handed, 2 luck via divine favor), and I would have 2 AoOs at a 20 feet
effective reach (being large with a reach weapon).
--If I only buff me, I got 3 spells for control or emergency healing
--My AC will be incredibly mediocre (10+5+1-1=15 in scale armor), so I need to make use of my reach and not get hit in the frontline. Good thing I roll max for HP!

I am totally going to board, but them being in my AoO range, and I do have combat reflexes, is going to well, cause some issues if they are trying to shoot us from this range. I plan to essentially force them to abandon the position right opposite us, to make crossing easier for our frontliners.
