Anything on the list is fine with me, but as mentioned, I have many replays if people want to play something I have already.

GM TOP |

Currently heard from most of you. Anyone else have thoughts before I make a call? Looks like at least one replay will be needed here no matter what.

Alright, I have a few options I'd like you all to consider.
I'm starting my search using PFS Sessiontracker. It only includes cmlobue, Gerald, grimdog73 & supervillan though. AND I'm sure those four (other than cmlobue who just said his was updated) may not have the most current info up there.
I'm also limiting my search to level 3-7 scenarios, since the last time I did a search it was level 2 stuff (so 1-5 and 1-7 would have shown up) and all those got shot down.
That said, if we don't find anything I can toss in the 1-5 and 1-7 stuff and see if anyone wants to replay one of them.
Here we go!
#9-05 Call of the Copper Gate
#9-15 The Bloodcove Blockade
#10-05 Mysteries Under Moonlight, Part I: Testament of Souls
#5-06 You Have What You Hold
Any year 9 or 10 works for me.

Alrighty then.
If Ander is ok with and capable of using a replay, I will run #9-05 Call of the Copper Gate next.

As we get reedy for the GM to begin the next scenario, make sure everyone who has been in this whole game is leveled up to three now!

Let's go steal all the copper from the gate and sell it!
...or whatever the Society actually wants from us.

I’m looking at a start date early next week, just letting you all know!

Weapon blanches are amazing for ammo.
I usually buy a bunch of cold iron ammo, then coat most of them with silver blanches (then it does both without even needing to guess or try out different things). And then do ten with an adamantine blanch.
The only real downside is the added weight for some PCs at low levels. The extra cost is barely even an issue.

As mentioned in one of my posts (probably the one responding to Grim's Knowledge check), the following construct traits apply to the swarm golem.
Constructs are immune to death effects, disease, mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms), necromancy effects, paralysis, poison, sleep, stun, and any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless). Constructs are not subject to ability damage, ability drain, energy drain, exhaustion, fatigue, or nonlethal damage. Constructs are not at risk of death from taking massive damage.
It isn't super easy to get these creature family traits into gameplay when I am posting on my phone, but if you ID a creature, assume their family traits are known. I'll try to post them when I get the chance, but it won't always happen. You are welcome to look up traits like these on your own, when they are known.

Pointless. I don't think I could hurt it with a crit and max roll....
Could always try Aid Another for someone who could beat its swarm traits and DR. Or ignore the swarm and go straight to the glowy thing - maybe disable device works on that?

You may have to purchase in batches of 50. I seen to recall that. Not sure if you get special materials at a discount or not.

![]() |

Here is a post that answers your question Ander, with relevant links.
Magical ammo has to be bought in batches of 50, unless a chronicle sheet or boon allows otherwise. Mundane ammunition doesn't have that stricture.
(I run a couple of multiclass gunslingers, I've had the above linked post listed for a loooong time).

I have a character with 10 durable adamantine arrows for just that reason.

GM TOP |

Kaz, not that it would matter on that roll, aren’t you a little low on your attack mod base at only +5?

![]() |

I don’t think so, at least with my axe. +2 Str, +3 BAB.
I’m better with the hammer as it is masterwork and I’ve got a feat for it, but I screwed up and typed axe in my previous post, so I just stuck with it!

And Halali has the healing hex that could be used. ?? Her CS mentions that under the BOT ME section.
Ooops, I need to edit that. Halali changed her floating hex to Hampering Hex for today.

I'm travelling all day tomorrow (27th) and unlikely to be able to post again until Thursday.

cmlobue |

Traveling until Friday, and do not have the Internet I thought I would. Ruya has two more rounds of nausea (the last of which will be spent returning to the fight) and Bilos will continue hucking priceless artifacts, as he is sure Nigel would want.

Sorry for my absence. There was a sudden, but not unexpected death in my wife's family and then a very sudden funeral 4 states away. Just got back late last night.

GM TOP |

Zero worries about the absence, sorry for your loss.

Day Job checks please.
Also, for this scenario only, you may use Knowledge: Arcana to complete a Day Job check instead of your usual skill.
If you don't have it trained or your normal modifier is better, just do your normal check.
If you don't have a normal day job to roll, use Knowledge: Arcana. If you aren't trained in it, roll it anyway (a basic Int Check). Your reward cap will be a result of 10 (same as a common knowledge check), but you could at least make a few gold.
This check opportunity should make more sense as we continue to finish wrapping up the scenario in game. But it basically reflects an opportunity to study the orbs and gate and stuff after the session ends (basically, when you would be doing your other day job stuff).

Bilos is still better off writing about it.
Profession (Scribe): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
Though he is briefly distracted by a foul odor coming from Ander's lab.

![]() |

know.arcana, untrained, lore spirit hex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Halali can change her wandering spirit and her hex every day, so in the time available for study she'll use the Lore spirit's "benefit of wisdom" hex to use WIS for INT skills. Sadly it doesn't make her trained though.

I am working on the chronicles, should be out soon.
As some maaaay have guessed, there is a consequence for destroying the orb. You actually failed the primary success condition. But you did succeed at the secondary condition so would be getting one of two prestige points.
Now, I don’t know if you all track your boons well or not, but everyone should have a boon called ‘prized find’ from The Wounded Wisp chronicle. It allows you to gain 1 prestige after you lose one for a failed success condition. This would be an ideal situation to use that boon and cross it out.
Does anyone NOT want to use that boon?

![]() |

You had the right idea Grunigon.
Sorry for being a bit too gung-ho there.
Halali will use her boon.

![]() |

The characters didn't know.... Not too gung-ho playing character knowledge!
Grunigon will use the boon.

![]() |

Been a while since I failed a primary. Boon away!
Were any of the things we fought evil outsiders or undead of CR 3 or greater?

Nope, just a bunch of weird stuff. Good FJC question tho.

Cool re: all the boon use.
I should have chronicles done tomorrow. Should. :D
Our next scenario will probably be in about a month, unless someone else is itching to GM. I have a vacation starting in a couple weeks so won’t be up for setting anything up until after that.

cmlobue |

TOP, do you have a third level dwarf in mind to join if someone else takes over? Or at least someone heavily bearded (my home game of Sky King's Tomb has a Captain Carrot)?
