So the cipher door only lists damage for tiers 1-2 and 3-4 in my copy of the tier 5-8 document.
Is there an errata for if the trap goes off again?

Huh, you are correct. terrible typo, though it looks to be increasing in increments of 2 so Tier 5-6 should be 5d6 damage and Tier 7-8 should be 7d6 damage every 4th time.
I am not finding anything official on the GM Forums but can certainly as in the VO channels if you want. It is certainly a typo but looks to be leaning towards what I wrote above.
Just confirming. We have to wait until 100% cipher door successes on the success tracker before we can introduce our tables to Felise right?
Or can I have my table begin speaking with Felise but not start the sanctum tasks?

Wow... surprised... how did you all get past the roleplaying into the assistance missions so fast?
Had Felise take more initiative and just introduce herself as fast as possible.
OOC said that I was going to assume they agree to help and after some initial roleplay (six to eight hour window) gave them the missions and said she would continue to talk with them. Made sure that she continued to answer questions as they did the skill challenge.
The encounter as written works just fine in person, but 5 minute conversations can take days in PbP. I felt that I needed to adapt it.

Suggestion next time, if folks are going to do that, make a strong suggestion everyone does.
Just to make sure tables don't feel slighted.
I was trying to give my table the full experience.
In reality, it was that even that was my favorite encounter in all of SkålCon, where I played Felise totally up with "It seemed like a good idea a the time" to an outraged Obazaya!
Just checking. The success tracker sheet lists waves 2-4 as open. Does that mean we can proceed straight to wave 2? Or do we need to wait for 100% success on wave 1 before we can start wave 2 at our table?

Indeed, go through each one back to back is the way I read it, please let me know if I am wrong from others that have ran this before. Below is from the scenario. Take them in order 1-4
During this part, the House GM will announce four types of checkpoints. Each checkpoint indicates that the House has earned enough successes on a particular wave; for example, when the House GM announces Checkpoint 1, enough tables have completed the Wave 1 encounter. If you are in the middle of an encounter when a checkpoint is announced, finish that encounter; reported successes will apply to the next checkpoint instead.
After completing the encounter, move on to the next encounter whose Checkpoint has not yet been reached.
So this will sort of snowball effect by the end as the faster tables will reach Checkpoint 4 while the slower tables will help close out future checkpoints.
Oh good, we're like halfway through Wave 2
Just started wave 2 here, haven’t even completed one round of combat.
I meant for successes for the special. There have been enough Wave 1 successes that have been converted to Wave 2 successes plus at least one Wave 2 success that we are now at 80% of what we need to complete Wave 2.
Looking ahead, I anticipate having to head out on a trip from April 13 on, so will likely need backup GM support from that point through to the end of the special.
Aerondor, I've put my request into the backup calendar for now, but will reach out again when closer to the travel dates and my timing is confirmed. Thank you!!!
GM Aerondor, I'll be on that trip coming up soon. Will you still be able to assist in backup GMing from the 13th on? That's more or less 24 hours from now.

Tyranius, since I'll be out when the special wraps up on April 15, should I go ahead and submit the reporting for my table a few days early now? Otherwise, I may not have a chance to submit it until around Apr 23.

Alright, tried twice and got the same error.
The change you wanted was rejected.
Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.
