I hope everyone is doing okay!

I'm doing fine. Well, as fine as can be these days. :) Hope all is well with our amazing GM.
And, you know.. everyone else... :)

So. Much. Snow.

But still alive.

We're supposed to get four inches or so tonight

It is cloudy but we have had no real snow all winter.

Heh. We got snow two weekends in a row down south here. Nothing in the immediate forecast.

We are "supposed" to get snow today into tomorrow but we will see.

It is snowing now. Already got a couple of inches, and closings for tomorrow are already numerous.

We need the snow for the agriculture but have been in a drought for a while.

We need it in the mountains for drinking water and recreation (skiing.) Here in the foothills, it provides some moisture for the grass and trees, but can be a pain on the roads. I think we have two to three inches at this point, and it is expected to snow through much of the day.

Heh. All snow does down here is deprive most people of bread and milk at the grocery store and bring travel to a halt because the snow quickly turns into slush and ice and our snow plow is something that is attached to the front of a truck owned by a guy named Bubba. :)

No worries, oh great GM, life happens.

We are getting some now, steady and sticking.

I think that was my first Combat roll with Ember, and it was a Max damage Crit. It won't last, but it was fun.

I don't think we'll finish before the start of Outpost. But I'll try to minimize the overrun into Outpost. If you'd like to include your Downtime in your chronicles, please roll them now (just to get that out of the way) :)

how would it work if I wanted to make him a warhammer? They don't have the two handed dwarven hammer anymore in 2E do they?

Does the chair stickyness work like hit, athletics check, action to pull out or does the athletics check take the place of the action to take the weapon off the sticky?

Hmm... misread the text.

Straight from the text:

A weapon that hits the chair is stuck to the chair and can be removed with a successful DC 21 Athletics check (made as a single action).

So my interpretation would be that if you hit it, you're stuck to it. If you want to un-stick, then you'll need to make a DC 21 Athletics check on your next action.

A mimic against level 1 characters, eh?

I figured dismissing the eidolon would be the best idea, as Salera only has a +4 bonus to Athletics. Either she uses her first action to roll a 17, or she suffers MAP and prays for a crit.

Actually it doesn't scale well. If I were to run it as printed, it'd be 10x more difficult...

Ah, it's a baby mimic. Sometimes scenarios will make weaker versions of a monster and I have to remember to use the scenario's stats instead.

Do you want to play the optional scenario? We're basically done except for the tidying up. But there's an optional extra scenario if you'd like to play it.

I am neutral. I'm fine either way.

My vote would be no, but I'm here if others choose otherwise.

I have run this before, so I am not inclined to vote. I did run it before they modified the scenario, and I think I know why the last encounter is optional.

btw, the optional encounter was a fight vs Solvatar. The mimic encounter doesn't quite scale well. 6-player version per the text was to give it the elite modification...
