Operative with Wizard Archetype. Yes, Core Rulebook Archetypes are allowed. The playtest survey was asking me if I was playing with Pathfinder 2e Core rulebook Archetypes.
The Survey sent a few weeks ago, not the one that came out yesterday.
I won't use a lot of the Operative feats, so I took wizard archetype.

Does everybody have a character to play? I'm seeing an Operative and a Mystic. Super and Shifty?

The Zo!Dome is a massive stadium complex, and playing in the !Dome is the dream of every artist in the Pact Worlds. It's also a main venue for Brutaris matches and the venue of choice for many Zo! productions.
One of these is WHEEL OF MONSTERS, a new holovid show which pits (desperate) contestants against dangerous creatures in lethal combat for credits.
Desperate contestants you say? Surely not the four adventuers that are currently waiting in the green room...
The green room is lavish, with comfy chairs, a buffet of food and drinks, and a wall of holovid screens tuned to various Zo! Media programs, including a live broadcast of WHEEL OF MONSTERS. Currently, a team of androids is being sloshes around on a boat, fighting against a colossal kraken and trying not to get their circuits wet. The arena is spectacularly flooded to allow for the dangerous aquatic deathmatch.

The doors to the green room open and an undead woman dressed in fashionable attire strides in. “You’re up next,” she announces, her attention split between the contestants and a datapad. A crew of ghouls with cameras, lights, and boom mics follow in her wake, setting up their equipment around the room. “We’ll record your team headed to the gladiatorial studio, but first we’d like to get some recordings for promotional trailers and commercials.”
As the camera drones take flight and position themselves around each of the contestants, the woman smiles briefly. “Go ahead and introduce yourselves. Don’t forget to tell the cameras why you’re fighting, and feel free to embellish. The audience is more likely to support you if make an impression.
This is your cue to introduce yourselves. When you do so, please make a Acrobatics, Athletics, Deception, Diplomacy, Intimidation, Performance, or any Lore skill check to impress the audience.

Hitting the road early tomorrow to take a convoy out to Broken Hill (legit Mad Max territory from the films) will be two days out and two days back into the desert. I expect I'll have some comms in the night locations (near townships) but if I lose comms for a day or two please bot me :)

Don't let the emus get you, mate!

I think part of my feedback might be that the Soldier's special attack is too complicated...
But part of that is that this is a high-level character with weapon upgrades and feats buffing it, so maybe not.

is too complicated...
Nods emphatically.
The three saves per target that I have to roll for Natalu is just nuts. I feel like I'm the back-end of a computer game (and props to Natalu for taking the time to explain all of his abilities - very helpful!)
I haven't played PFS2 so far, and there as some things that take a lot of getting used to. Four levels of success/failure, modifiers everywhere. Normally resolving a combat round in PbP takes me about ten minutes tops, but I find myself spending fourty minutes cross-referencing stuff from different source books (not to mention regulalry ending up at a PFS1 reference document... HMPF).
/end of rant.
Guess I'll get used to it.

Two of those are only on a crit (and I've if those is from a property rune upgrade). If this wasn't a pbp game, I wouldn't mention them at all unless they came up, but I don't know if they will until after you roll.
Part of that is that you're not used to it. I find PF2 easier to resolve.

Gotta love these Zo! games. I'm having so much fun providing the blow-by-blow commentary.
