Hey, I just GM'd this quest less than a month ago. Will be taking a back seat and going fully support. Landitho here has never directly dealt damage. Will focus on supporting the team!

GM Tiger, are the attackers hidden by the trees of the forest on the map or we can still see them in their current location? Just want to make sure.

I would say partial cover. You can see the attackers moving but it's won't be totally clear.

I usually reskin a lot of Rhaegal's spells (cantrips mostly) as emanating from his mouth to replicate dragon's breath. Mechanically it's still casting, just looks like he's breathing lightning or fire or cold. Hope that's ok.

If I use the Sustain a Spell action, do I need to expend the remaining action(s) for the Cast the spell again?

If you want to sustain a spell, you need to spend an action each round to sustain it. Otherwise, it dissipates. If you have another Spiritual Weapon prepared, you may cast it again.
