Killed: one Goblin Sneak (CR1) which earns the party 65xp per player. Since there hasn't been cumulative XPs recorded until now, we will level at milestones, but this is just a way of relative measurement until the next step up.

Tot's planning on searching the house to make sure it's clear. After that, she'll ask if someone could let the people at the Cathedral know that Alergast is dead and his remains need tending to.
Edit: I don't think Ari's actions really change Tot's intentions.

Wasn't it Steven King that said make your characters likable then put them through hell?
Part of what I would like Tot's story to be is overcoming those fears and memories. I want her to eventual go from Neutral to Good. She's a hero, she just doesn't realize it yet.

I did link a map of Sandpoint at the top margin, but it is small and hard to read. I found other good ones but they did not work as hyperlink images well. If someone else wants to find one, and post the link, I will hook it to the page for future reference.
Either way, the Sandpoint Glassworks is the long dark grey building on the far west near the sea and the compass rose. It has three roundish windows.
EDIT: Also note I have added a map link for the Sandpoint Glassworks at top margin as well. For unknown reasons, the map-makers choose to put north on the right of the page, so I just reoriented the map so north was at top for ease of directions during play.

Also, on this map it shows four bluish cupolas on top of the glassworks. Are those there? Are they glass and did we see them as we approached?

Guys, if you're trying to link to stuff on a wiki, it's probably not going to work if you link directly to the image file. That eats up bandwidth which costs websites money. The links don't work because they likely have hotlinking protections enabled.
Also, apologies to our paladin, but the fighter prefers to be sneaky. ;D

Actually, I don’t mind sneaking. But in this case, we just don’t have enough information to be breaking into somebody’s business. As far as we know, she met with her brother, they cried it out and she spent the evening and just hasn’t come home yet. Or, they had a big fight with daddy And that’s why the business isn’t open and now they’ve been grounded to their room. As soon as we have evidence of foul play or that somebody is in danger, then Garen will be happy to break everything.

This might be a good time to talk about door and exploration procedure.
Are you checking every door here for traps? (This is a place of business after all). If not, I assume you are not checking unless it is mentioned in a post.
Are you listening at every door? Who? Usually only one of you can listen effectively at a time.
What is the marching order as you get further inside the hallways of this place which might be too narrow to walk more than 1-2 abreast.
What is the light situation? Ari has dancing lights cast now, but will that be refreshed continually? Dancing lights illuminates 20' normal light, and 20' dim light around each of up to 4 light sources.
Are you moving stealthily or normal speeds? I assume normal speeds unless it is specifically mentioned. Stealth movement will slow things down.
Any other spells, abilities, or procedures we should be aware of before we get deep into exploration?

That works for me.
Tot will be listening at doors before opening them. She'll be moving stealthily, but swiftly, say 20-25 ft a round. She doesn't use lights, and will generally discourage them in most cases. She won't be checking for traps here, but she would in a goblin cave or a ruin.
Tot's a regular old fighter, so nothing special here, other than the darkvision.

Agree. Not looking for traps here. If we get somewhere that we think there might be traps Ari would take lead to check for traps, open locks, etc. and then get out of the way. I think he's the only one trained. ??
Garen and Tot don't need the light so Ari would keep it behind himself for the two that don't have darkvision. If we open a door Ari can send the lights in quickly, 100'/round, then pull them back again. I know this reduces the stealth but it lets those that need light get a better view of what's ahead. - Wait a minute! Does anyone need light? I thought someone was human. ?? I guess not. Izzy can cast Dancing Lights herself for anything that she needs. Ari will just scoot the lights around to see details better....
Ari will keep the spell refreshed, and he will cast the version that gives a glowing humanoid shape. If anyone here sees it they might think it's a ghost for a second or two....

I think even if Tot suspected or knew these were tougher than average goblins, she'd still think this would be a good idea.
That said, I may come to regret that if I keep rolling low. :P
