very boring level. The downside of a soldier dip way back when.

Adds diplomacy to the list of expertise skills

Int bonus increase lets her level up mining and musician. She's actually pretty good on the sax now.

She's been hauling spaceship lasers and without del to cook has been nicking jarducks protien powder. Boosting strength in case we find/buy a Higher level heavy weapon. Dex would make sense but the boost doesn't do anything till 15 so Int Cha Str Con (finally)

Int increase will add vesk, since she's swiping these guys' spaceflicks account along with their ion cannon

Big bump up to 120 SP thanks to that.

New class features:
Entropic Strike now gains the reach property at all times. That's 15ft natural reach.
New Disciple - Staggering Surge. After a successful strike I can spend a reaction and 1 EP to try to stagger the victim for 1 round.

Otherwise just a smattering of skills. Not sure on the language yet.

Heavy weapons do tend to come along a good amount!

I can't wait for Great Cleave to trigger, that will be amazing. As for power armor... it seems doable - especially with another Large character in your party.

I am less excited for 15 foot natural reach!! There's going to be a lot of AoOs in your future. Is the spent Reaction (for Stagger) for the upcoming round? So in exchange for the opportunity to AOO?

I do my best to be respectful and honoring of the memory of characters when they depart a longtime campaign. I was so happy to give Strek that happy ending with Shan, with whom he had planted backstory seeds and connection throughout the story over the last few years. Left to my own devices, I certainly would have had Del stay on that asteroid and bake muffins in her well-deserved little shop.

Del's player, Jessica, sent me a private message and requested that Del disappear and reappear next to her sister in the final boss fight of this book. Del's always been motivated to "protect" Eline and struggled between her loyalty to her sister and to her found family. Jessica was always looking forward to this confrontation and thought this would be a great twist that could keep Del involved in the pivotal moment. What you see here is my interpretation of those wishes. I just couldn't see Del firing a gun at the crew in anger, hence the memory editors to help smooth out that detail.

This boss battle has always been a complex one with several possible endings, and this tweak has multiplied those possibilities several times over! Should be fun.

Might also retrain out of powered armor. It seems to not be a practical thing in this campaign (awkward to switch into it/be in it at the right moments).

Just added the gear from the Eline encounter to our loot tab.

Eline's invisibility detector also looks really good and it would help if we came across tricky invisible drow in the next book. Any objections to Akh claiming it? Someone should also use the captive-star amulet, as a reaction to make a free dispel attempt seems very nice.

Flashing Strikes reduces the full attack penalty to -3.
Feat is Dispelling Strike (spend an RP to dispel a spell by hitting it).
HP, SP, and skills are as usual. Nothing otherwise too interesting this level.

Yeah, the Invisibility Detector is legit! It even can go into other armor. I definitely thought it was a mcguffin plot device in Book 4 when it was used. Turns out it's real! Or at least they retconned it into reality later.

I thought i swiped the dispel magic pendant. It shouldn't be too hard to get a starfinder to cast ... confusion on it. Since that took us out last time.

I assume that's without the 15k per person from EJ, just based on how much things were worth and that there was some liquid cash in the loot log. If the captive star amulet wasn't removed from the log before Jaraduk did the calc, we'd each get 363 credits less (a nice round 20700 instead of 21063).

Time to do some purchases!

I assume Melissa is referring to the red dwarf captive star amulet, since that's the neat guy that lets you dispel things.
