As I mentioned in OOC within the gameplay thread, is it safe to assume that all of our characters are okay with the implication that they smuggle goods illegally?
Thanks to his background, Akh sees nothing wrong with breaking the law whenever its inconvenient. So no problems smuggling things for good reasons. OK with smuggling arms, no to sentient trafficking.

Does anyone want any of the goblin loot to use? If not, we can sell it here for 10% value and split the proceeds.
I don't see Dogslicers on archivesofnethys, other than the entry for Space Goblins:

Melee dogslicer +6 (1d4+2 S)
Are they Basic Melee? Advanced Melee? Analog? Operative? Trying to figure out how similar they are to the Survival Knife. Maybe not thrown?
If they have any batteries, like in any of their weapons, we should grab those. If Strek can use a Dogslicer, he'll take one. He currently just wields a broken pipe wrench (aka "Club") for melee.
Ah, sad, I was right the first time. Dogslicers aren't real items and aren't sellable. You can use one, it would have the same stats as a Survival Knife without the Thrown property.
They don't have any batteries, though they do have some rounds if anyone wants those. (Though I really don't believe in counting ammo unless you're in a survival section.)

they still refer to their iconic crude melee weapons as dogslicers; these function just like survival knives, though a few enterprising goblin tribes have discovered ways to give the blades microserrated or ultraserrated edges.
Based on this text from the same space goblin entry, I figure they are just survival knives that look particularly junky and goblin-ish.
If they're not sell-able, no worries. Guess? didn't have a melee weapon so he would hold onto one to use as a survival knife in melee if needed.

Oh! They're described in the text above. Okay. Yeah in that case Strek will take one. That's +1 to-hit compared to his Club, even if the damage is less.

This upcoming holiday weekend might be a bit spotty with posting.

I mean, not sure what's in the mysticism spoiler, but I'm curious enough to go check the situation out.
Ha, don't worry, it was mostly just a cutscene with a possible fight. Nothing huge.
The book actually assumes you wouldn't sell to Ainsley, triggering her trying to attempt to strongarm you and make your lives miserable. The smartest/best course of action was to actually sell to her right away. So... nice job! lol. I still roped all of the planet's events back into the narrative, so you didn't miss out on anything. This book is super well written to allow multiple valid choices at each decision point without causing certain parties to miss content.
EDIT: And I should mention, you'll see the cutscene no matter what. When there are cutscenes or fluffy content that people miss or didn't go back for, I usual do a cutscene when the party leaves that area. It feels kind of cinematic and lets people experience the more rounded story without forcing their characters to be completionists.
I don't think think Chrome's app supports extensions. But Firefox's does! Back when I used to use my mobile for all my PbP, I used a similar extension on the Firefox app.
Sorry, long weekend and last weekend before school starts and we're running around like chickens with our heads cut off around my house. Might not be able to get a post in this weekend, but I will try my best!
Doing much the same here with school. Oh, except we started last week but now there's weekend sports to go to.
Warning as well, my parents are closing on a new house much closer to us in October so there will likely be a lot less posting from me on weekends this fall as we make trips to visit.
Alright, y'all! No worries, it's a holiday weekend. I've been trying to slowly shift us into the next event, since it's a fun one, but there's no rush.
I'm heading off on a business trip tomorrow so my posting will be significantly more erratic for the next two weeks! My post timing will be off for sure, but I will still try to post every 24 hours.
Sorry about the delay and the short posts, y'all! This business trip has been kicking my butt, without much wifi available. Hopefully it will improve from here out, but the next week will still be a little rough.
I'll be out of touch for a few days. Sorry for lack of notice. If someone could bot me I'd appreciate it. At this level she's mainly relying on hazard. No fire or acid as she doesn't want to damage the tasty berries. She's decent with her pistol but it deals electricity damage and isn't likely helpful right now.
Alright alright alright, let's talk creds. If we sell everything you've looted so far (moon bread included) that will get everyone 775 credits (RICH). That's on top of the 42 credits you have already received.

Hacking kit (I don’t see masterwork listed at this level?) and I’m debating a few augmentation choices. Lars can’t wait to remove as much of his meat as he can ASAP

I'll be spending 755 for a wyrmling dragon gland. The downside of a robo-dragon vs. a regular dragon is that you don't get a breath weapon by default. Now that's been rectified!

All of the Tool Kits are Level 1-2. They're just drastically different prices:
The 20cr Hacking Kit is "required for most Computer checks".
The 200cr Thieves’ Tools grants "a +4 bonus to Computers checks to hack a computer system that controls a door".
Since we're both usually Aiding each other, I'm happy splitting the cost of the Thieves' Tools with you, if you're interested.

I'll be at Disneyland this Friday-Sunday. I might post while waiting in lines, but I'll be with family so no guarantees.
Wow, those specialty tool kits are pretty sweet. I could definitely see higher level parties having all of those eventually. 200 credits feels pretty cheap for a skill bonus at Level 5.
Oh you know I've been meaning to ask something. Does this AP assume that we know how long our Drift travel will take? I've always understood it as an unknown, so there's no way to "plan" for when we exit the Drift.
Yeah, they really were hoping players would be gluttons for punishment! It's kind of fun to see the tough situations and the creative solutions you have for them.
I'm a little unclear on that as well. You definitely know the approximate time it will take (In System, Near Space, Vast etc.) but I don't think you really know when it will happen. So yeah, you probably wouldn't all be gathered in the Bridge I suppose! In fact, most of the day someone would have to be woken up.
