Things are looking rough over there, the last rune can wait. Time to join the fray. The elf braces himself before bolting through the fire, flames clinging to his invisible form. "As the ambassador from one fallen world, I will not allow you to take this one! May the blade of my newfound allies strike true! Dropping his gear at his feat, the elf suddenly becomes strikingly visible as he draws forth Spiritbreaker in both hands, slashing upwards in a mighty arc as his equipment clatters onto the ground. As his hood falls back, the flames of the ring illuminate a fierceness hence unseen deep within his eyes as he condemns his adversary.

Amada wills himself through the circle of flames; though his mettle is challenged as the flames and negative energy lash out of him. The energy seems to almost prevent him from moving but he manages to get through and close rapidly on the Spirit. Failed-- 10 fire dmg and 6 negative dmg. After having cast his preparations and drawn Spiritbreaker, Amada's mighty arc nearly misses at first but then perfectly predicted the Spirit's movements and connects with the wraith-like creature who was partially invigorated from draining Jakoby's life Hit, 16 dmg, no precision

From the ground position, Jakoby watches in splendor as the mighty Spiritbreaker lifts itself up seemingly by it's own volition and strikes the Red Spirit straight through it's shadowy center!!

Old Deadeye - you bastard! - finally got up off your ass, no?

It is mid-prayer that Amada Caradulyn becomes suddenly visible again, causing our ulfen hero's eyes to momentarily spasm in disbelief - Has it been YOU all along!? - before the reality of the situation settles in, where now Gunda Kolkind's cheeks to flush red, as if by some social horror, her colleagues - and especially the elf - could actually hear her thoughts, and thus, her ridiculous misconception. She collects then composes herself, and speaks "Got a mind of her own, she does" in reference to the blade.

With a graceful kip up, Jakoby is on her feet, and in the same motion, she whirls her hands towards the chain stowed at her ranger-twin's side, sliding it out from it's secured position with a whipping motion. This is an interesting implement. One practice swing and she clutches the middle with her second hand, tumbling over the shifted center of gravity, and lashing outways with the blunt swinging weapon!

The Spirit shifts his focus to Amada now, "Wretched thing! Sabotage my ritual, and dare strike me?!" The party enjoys the brief respite to patch up any immediate wounds, but the ritual flames continue to flicker all the while. Zac continues shooting arrows into the trolls and only takes a second to activate his healers gloves.

The rift in the center of the circle remains open and seems to ever so slowly begin to close. One by one the smaller runes around the inside of the ritual circle begin to extinguish, and simultaneously the bound trolls burst into flames, and then explode.

Suddenly, the ground violently trembles and an enormous rust-red clawed hand emerges from the rift and grabs hold of the ledge as Urxhel pushes his monumental will through the boundary of planes. (art). The runes on the ground flare to life, this time with black flame.

As the portal opens, Eliza rallies agents to do what they can to disable the runes of black flame. You see Eando and another group of agents on the sidelines battling against Brimorak demons and holding them at bay.

Quinoline studies the hand. She's always scoffed at the idea of gods mettling in mortal affairs, but causes her some concern. She casts Guidance on herself and tries to remember anything she's learned.

Quinoline believes that this hand was once described of being able to fling itself in the air and bury challengers into the ground. She does not recall anything regarding weaknesses or resistances.

Jakoby thinks that this thing is similar to a Crawling Hand and will respond to any form of movement. She does not recall of any special types of defenses.
