With another volley of profane fire preparing in the sky, Jakoby successfully connects to the elements and counteracts the magical firestorm. It is not 100% clear how long the disruption will last but at least 1 hour if not more. Those of you who are drained from the fight do not find yourself getting your strength back. Drained condition is not going away

The group heads towards the doors coming from the colossus's left knee. The doors easily open, however, the group finds a set of collapsed, impassable stone ruins that block the ground floor. The stone does not look like it can be moved within any reasonable amount of time and the only way into the colossus appears to be climbing up through the the right thigh.

    Descriptions...
A2. The ruined foot. Some of you have already stood on this. It remains largely intact and climbing the northern side is not difficult.

A3. The Ruined Shin. The western edge of the ruin is 10 feet off the ground, sloping up to 20 feet high at the eastern edge. Scaling the smooth, boulder-like ruin is moderately difficult

A4. The Ruined Thigh. Part of the thigh fell and ripped a hole into the lower abdomen. While the thigh is still an immense stone section (20 feet high to 30 feet high), there are a few angles to climb which would be somewhat difficult

Searching all of these areas you find nothing else of interest besides rubble.

@All There are a bunch of climbing checks that would normally need to be made, however, it appears everyone is capable of climbing so feel free to describe yourselves narratively (without rolls). If rolling the checks helps you tell your story then feel free to do so, but I won't need the rolls.

I also would need to know the rough amount of time needed for healing (Amada estimates himself could heal everyone in 1.5 hours). The original plan from Eando Kline was to have a bunch of pathfinder agents spread far and wide and then close in on Sapphire's location once revealed. It was never expected Sapphire would be so close. That is to say while the situation is urgent, you still have time to heal yourselves.

The party climbs into the thigh of the Colossus. From atop, the group overlooks and sees the surrounding bruorsivi forest in flames. Thick carpets of smoke rise into the air and continue to blot out all sunlight though the flames from the forest provide ample light of the region.

Heading into the thigh the group enters the Colossus's lower abdomen. The interior of the Colossus centers on a structural support column, with ramps spiraling up the sides of the immense edifice. Crossbeams connect to the pillar from the base of the ramp, providing stability to the structure. Sections of rocks have collapsed throughout the hollow interior, blocking off the ramp in certain spots. Similar wreckage lines the bottom of the Colossus’s interior, with stone and metal fragments strewn about on the floor. A massive collapse from the right leg of the Colossus opens the interior to the outside world, while eighty feet up from damaged entry point is a set of stone doors at the top of the spiral ramp.

This will be a skill challenge. Below are some example options. If you have other ideas then feel free to suggest them. The example options list how many feet need to be travelled using the corresponding actions. So as an example, one successful climb check isn't going to be enough since for most PC's a success is only 5 feet progress.

  • Balance across the crossbeams (DC 22 acrobatics - 35ft needed)
  • Climb across the sculpted walls with numerous handholds (DC 22 athletics - 35ft needed)
  • If you fall, you can attempt to Grab an Edge. Otherwise you need to climb the rubble in NW corner next to Colossus's thigh (DC 20 athletics, total 30ft needed). You'd then still need to Balance/Climb your way across the southern gap.

I'll also need to know if the group is sending one person at a time or if multiple people are attempting at the same time. I'll assume one at a time unless otherwise noted. Feel free to discuss IC or OOC before attempting
